Becky (beckyofthe19and9) This is another series that I can't wait to read! I currently own the second book, and I am waiting on the first to be shipped to me from a user on BookMooch, who promised to send it last November. *grumble* (I can't find it elsewhere unless I buy it new, so I refuse to cancel my request.)

Anyway... If you've read this, what do you think?

(P.S. Please remember to mark all spoilers!)

JG (Introverted Reader) Bartimaeus cracked me up. I have to say that I never really warmed up to the boy. I can't even remember his name. Something vaguely biblical. Nathan? Samuel? But Bartimaeus is such a smarta**, I just loved him.

******************SPOILERS***************************

I was pretty upset by the ending though. The boy finally redeems himself and then that happens! I felt ripped off.

Cassie (cassielo) lol it's Nathaniel.

I thought the first two books were okay, but I really liked the last book. Bartimaeus is funny.

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I found the books that I need to complete this series on PBS, finally, so I requested them. I should be getting these soon! Of course, the first book I could only get in HC, but I shouldn't be too picky.

"Nathan? Samuel?" I got awfully close, didn't I? :-)

Cassie (cassielo) LOL I was thinking how very close you were, just needed to combine the two.

I started this series, but never got through the first book. Maybe I should try it again...

Alexis (alexabexis) My brother really liked this series but I think the dog chewed up the second one so I never got around to borrowing them from him.
