Martin Hi there. It's been over a year since I read this book but since I started the doctor who series I thought I ask a question but this.

Are there any good, funny books about exploring new planets or worlds? Like in the Hitchhikers guide books or the Dr. Who Show? Another huge factor would that the book has about the same humor as both :)

Will IV Hmm, that's a difficult one. The Discworld books have similar humor, but they don't really explore new worlds except one, the Discworld.

Asimov's Foundation series explores new worlds, but not similar in humor at all. Same goes with Dune. I can't think of any books that combine the humor with exploring new worlds, however.

Gerd You may like Robert Asprin: Phule's Company

Robert Sheckley is great in the humor department, but he did his best work in short story format.

Mick Resnick comes to mind, too.

George Rocheleau John Scalzi has some humor in some of his books, Old Man's War for one. Not the same kind of humor however.
