Well I have a friend and I can't stand the way her new boyfriend keeps on treating her like she's some sort of garbage. I've been friends with J. for like 3 years and I visualize punching her bf's face but I know that what J and I have will be lost if I do it...What do I do?
Talk to her and let her know that she deserves better. :)

I don't think civil is based on what a person likes, it's based on their personality. I don't care for HP myself but I have a sister and a cousin who like it. I respect their views on it. Hogwarts isn't exactly my cup of tea. I prefer Middle Earth ;)

I've thought about it and I'll go with taking to J AND her boyfriend separately, of course. I don't want J to know that I've seen his bf with several others but when I see her eyes light up like her bf had hung the stars, I just couldn't tell the truth to her so for now I'll try my best to rein in my anger.
