The school "nurse" watched as Evan brought in Oliver. "What has happened to Mr. Powell?" she asked in her high, flighty voice.
"He was struck by... Lightning. " was all she could say to explain it. She honestly didnt know what happened.
"Alright Evan. Where did this take place?" she asked. "You know what, it'll be easier if you just tell me the whole story." Her small spectacles flashed a light shade of blue.
"Yes dear, but just explain from your point of view," Mrs. Olson requested sweetly as she began walking to Oliver.
"I didnt see it happen. I got distracted. You know I have ADHD. "She explained. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed.
"So I assume this is power related?" Nurse Olson half asked, half stated. She touched the edge of her glasses until they glowed a yellowish color.
"Calm down hun," said the nurse gently, "I am, but the more information I have the better." She began looking him over with the colored lenses, which were giving her a diagnosis of his injuries.
"Hmm." She continued to look him over and began writing down on her pad that she always carried with her. She used one of her tentacles to turn Oliver's head to one side, then to the other. Olson nodded, like she found what she expected.
"I am going as quickly as I can. Your friend is in a stable, albeit poor, but a stable condition. Now I will ask you not to order me around or curse at me again. That's twice, and third strike you're out." This time there was no gentleness in her voice. She was firm yet patient. She went back to her desk and pulled out her medical kit and went back to where Oliver lay. First she used a dropper and put some liquid in his ears, then the same dropper she used in his eyes. She knew from his file that Oliver had electric control, so she could only guess what he had done. Olson used an ointment and rubbed it from his neck down to his waste line, then the same on his other side. "That's as much as I can do right this second. Young lady your friend is quite lucky he isn't dead."
"No. At least not yet. And until he does wake up, there's nothing else I can do," Olson stated while she packed away her instruments.
You're welcome to stay as long as you want, but don't expect much," said the nurse. And with that she went back to her desk and began filing paperwork.
The ground crunched beneath Oliver's shoes. There was a storm going on, flashes of lightning would illuminate the rain that poured down. He was in the woods on a dirt path. In the distance was an old house, up on a hill. Until the flashed from the lightning, it was pitch black. He walked on, his feet squelching in the mud. It felt like he was walking for hours, but he finally made it to the dark front door of the house. He opened it, knowing that it was abandoned. He wasn't sure how he knew this, but he did. Once he was inside, not even the storm made a sound. It was dead silent, the only noise came from the dripping of Oliver's clothes. The room was dark, but it felt familiar all the same.

The entire house shook, creaking this way and the other. For a brief moment Oliver was truly frightened. But it passed quickly enough. He began making his way to the high backed leather chair in the center of the room. He couldn't see it but he was sure it was there. He wasn't disappointed. He took a seat, causing a cloud of dust to swarm around him. After he was finished coughing, he felt small spiders make their way over him. He wasn't bothered by it, he'd never been too afraid of spiders.
Without any warning, the fire place roared into life. It lit up the room in a warm glow and heat, which was extraordinarily pleasant. Oliver's eyes began to grow heavy. He hadn't realized how tired he was. He was beginning to doze off when he heard footsteps coming down the hall. This jarred him awake. The house was supposed to be empty. He looked up and tried to decipher who was coming towards him.
The footsteps multiplied. Soon two figures entered the room from the shadowy hallway. It was Max. And Evan. Max was badly burned, no doubt this was from how he died. Evan walked hand in hand with zombie Max. "Hey buddy, long time no see," said Max. Oliver was speechless while Max and Evan walked closer. She turned and whispered into Max's ear. He smiled and said, "You're right babe, Oliver is a loser. Can't even control his own powers. It's fine though, without him murdering me, I couldn't be with you." He turned his head and kissed Evan, with her lifting a heel and swooning in his arms. Oliver was mortified. Max turned and shot him a wink while the world darkened. Soon everything was dark. Black.
Evan pulled back. She shook him again. "C'mon... C'mon Energizer Bunny..." She muttered nervously
Once again, Oliver didn't stir. His chest rose and fell, the only real sign he was even still alive.
((I vote we fast forward a couple of days. Maybe have Evan be in class or something, or maybe in her dorm, and then have Oliver walk in and be like, "Yo"))
