Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) Ash rolled his eyes and let out a groan. Why was Sam so sure that he couldn't handle himself? He had done so up to now, even when the angel wasn't around. He was perfectly capable to mind his life even though he got into a lot of trouble in the past. But now Sam saw him to be a child that needed to be kept an eye on, and it just annoyed the hell out of the hunter. Stop caring! he wanted to scream. He wanted to say a lot of things. But he thought this sounded better; "Fine then. I will." His voice had an edge to it, but other then that he sounded sincere enough.

He'd control his anger. He'd make friends. He buried his hands into the pockets of his trousers, and turned to the fellow hunter. "So," he drawled casually. "What's your name?"

message 502: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Nihil (sierra_nihil) Shaking herself out of her abyss of thoughts she replied "Esmae. And yours?" The angel seemed to have said something that seemed to have calmed this hunter down. She was still rather skeptical of the change and was prepared in case things flared into another argument. A new thought came across her mind; he seemed rather like her personality wise, so maybe they could be friends, but as she remembered how irritated he was earlier she shook that thought from her mind. Besides who needs friends when you already have allies that you don't have to go through the process of getting to know. Esmae wasn't the type who talked about her life, her hopes, her goals, as far as she was concerned the rest of the world would survive without nosing into her life.

message 503: by Jasmine (new)

Jasmine (jasminethetallirishflower) ((Sorry for the late reply. I've been really busy.))

"Ash," he replied. Esmae was right to be prepared for another snap; Ash was known to have a short temper, and he was still simmering and could quickly boil over once more. His hat sat at an unpleasing angle on his head, so he decided to take it off, revealing his shorty cut brown hair. He ran his hand over the mop, saying, "A werewolf hunter. From Dallas, if you haven't already guessed from the accent and my hat." When his hair was fixed he placed the hat on his head once more, this time it sat perfectly. When it came to his hat, Ash was very particular about how it looked.

message 504: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Nihil (sierra_nihil) Esmae nodded, "So, do you track them when they're human or when they're wolf?" She didn't pay attention, or care really, about how other creatures were hunted, but for lack of a better topic this would have to do. As long as she could fight them off when need be, she believed that overall information irrelevant. The thought might have been cocky but why waste brain space on that which does not directly effect ones life, especially when you were all working separate but together to achieve a common goal; protect humans from the supernatural.

sol | 382 comments Having had a nice relaxing break, Brion decided to train once more. She held her cat Pepper in her arms as she walked through the hallways of the headquarters. Bry let her eyes float around. She saw several other hunters chatting as they walked around, she noticed some tiny cracks the worn out walls... Uninteresting people and uninteresting objects, She thought. Brion couldn't wait to get back to training. Hopefully no one was around. Her mind was clear but she needed her space when she trained. But it wouldn't hurt to have a partner to work with. They could practice hand to hand combat. She made her way down to the third floor where the somewhat run down training room, opened the door and wasn't very surprised to see a boy, maybe a couple years older than her, training with knives. Brion watched him for a moment, absentmindedly stroking Pepper's soft fur. She was silent, and he probably didn't notice her. She decided to watch his technique without making her presence known to him, but Pepper meowed quite loudly, and Brion knew that she couldn't stay unnoticed forever. So she opened her mouth and said a stiff, "Hey."

message 506: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments Brion hadn't seen him around before today. Her normal attitude was rude and mean, which caused people to stay clear from her... But she did need some human company once in a while. She decided it was time to let some of that attitude go. She had dreamt that she was living with forty cats, alone, in a small apartment at 30 last night. With fear that she would turn into a crazy cat lady, she set Pepper on the floor and attempted to smile in reply. "Hi, I'm Brion. I hope you don't mind me training here with you. And thanks I guess. This is Pepper," She gestured to the cat.

"Unfortunately no, though that would be really cool." She laughed a bit as she pulled out one of her own knives, from where they were stuck lazily in her belt. She observed the dummies before taking her shot. She threw the knife, aiming right for the head, and of course a second later the blade was lodged in it. Right in the middle of the forehead. "Do you wanna practice some combat techniques?" She didn't like knife throwing that much even though she was quote good at it.

message 509: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments "Okay, go ahead." She smirked and walked closer to him and got into a basic fighting stance. "I'll let you take the first hit." She suggested. Pepper had sat down in the corner and was watching the two attentively. She's such a weird cat, Thought Brion. Bry wasn't sure of Lucas's skill yet, nor did she know his fighting style so she wasn't sure what to expect. She was a little excited, and found herself looking forward to the fight quite a bit.

((GAH! Sorry, I took a break there from all my RP's.))

Ash raised an suspicious eyebrow to Esame's question. People, especially other hunters, never really asked him his hunting tactics. He always thought that it was because they weren't interested on how other people killed the monsters. They were too busy coming up with new techniques by themselves, unwelcoming to useful tips or fighting styles. This all lead up to pride. Every hunter secretly had it -- or, at least, the hunter's he had met through his life all had it. Shrugging off his suspicion with the fact that she could be asking that question to be nice, he answered her. "Either way, I suppose," he explained. "Killing them in human form makes the job easier but more tricky to see if it is a were or not, if you catch my meaning. I've cornered many humans in the thought of them being werewolves. Thankfully I realized they weren't before I did anything, though. While in werewolf form, there easier to spot but more difficult to kill. What 'bout you? What's your specialty?"

Having dodged his first hit, the fight started. He was good, but she was saving her secret weapon for later. Brion enjoyed fighting with Lucas. They fought for a while, neck and neck, each getting in a few hits. Brion fought sneakily and used multiple martial arts techniques to get ahead of him slightly. They threw around hits and a few kicks, but neither were finding the perfect point to go in for the winning hit. She decided it was time to at least try and get him down on the ground and motionless, so she went for a roundhouse kick. If he dodges this, I'll be very surprised... Bry might look small and weak, but no one should underestimate her. She is really very strong, and packs a powerful kick. It didn't hurt that roundhouse kicks were her strongest moves.

message 512: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments Her heartbeat quickened slightly at the feel of his hands wrapped around her wrists, and as the hot air of his breath tingled her ear. "No, I don't need protection from a cat, I could easily scratch your eyes out myself." Brion said as she struggled to break free of his hold. She may have been an experienced fighter, but he was much taller and naturally much stronger than her. She decided to play dirty, so she swung her leg backwards, intending to kick him in the crotch, but she changed her mind at the last second, and kicked him in the left leg--hard--instead. As he stumbled backwards, she escaped his hold on her and went back to her original fighting position.

message 513: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments In the split second before she attacked again, Brion surveyed her surroundings. Pepper was packing back and forth, as if she was impatiently waiting for training to be over, Lucas was smirking--again--and she was starting to get to know his fighting style more. It was quite dark in the room, as the lighting was weak, and her shoulders were starting to hurt from where he was pressing down. She wondered when the last time she'd had this much human contact was, as she kneed him in the stomach, and quickly grabbed him and incapacitated him in a headlock. Maybe Lucas and I can be friends. Huh. What a weird concept... "Really? Your eyes aren't that charming. But I really wouldn't like to resort to scratching in training."

message 514: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments Brion cursed as breathtaking pain swept through her body. He will pay for that... "You sure are arrogant aren't you," She muttered. A sudden wave of nostalgia hit Brion, and she recalled her and her brother training while on the road. She had said exactly the same thing, as he had started to get cocky with his movements. No. I can't let this distract me. Hopefully Lucas hadn't noticed her hesitation. She was really starting to like this guy. She actually hadn't been in suck good company in ages, unless you counted Pepper as good company. Just earlier that same morning, Brion had found herself talking to he cat like she was an actual human being that could understand her. How idiotic she must have looked. To be honest, meeting Lucas today had made her realize something. It dawned on her that everyone here had the same goal: killing off supernaturals. Being a b**ch to the people here didn't really make much sense. She decided that she wouldn't be as rude and cruel as she usually was. Maybe if she stopped with that attitude altogether, she could accomplish her goal of killing the vampires that killed her parents faster. But then again old habits die hard... Brion and Lucas had started throwing punches and kicks at each other again, but they both predicted each others moves fairly easily now. It was time for a surprise... Time for some unpredictability... Brion performed a tornado kick (one of the more advanced moves she learned when she was younger, while she was training in taekwondo). She didn't want to cause any serious permanent damage so she didn't put as much force into it as usual. Her foot connected with his shoulder, sending him sliding across the ground. "Sorry,"

sol | 382 comments ((Lol those last few sentences tho xD))

Brion rolled her eyes in irritation. "I doubt you've ever met anyone like me before, and I seriously don't care if I break a nail or not. I'm not that materialistic." Not anymore at least. She said, turning her head to look at him before she stood back up again. She brushed off her jeans and narrowed her eyes at Lucas. "I really want to keep fighting you, but I have a feeling neither of us will give up. This could go on forever." Bry said. "Plus I don't want to seriously injure the first person I actually like in this place." She added. She was actually telling the truth. She liked this guy. He was skilled, funny and really interesting to talk to. Even though she didn't know him at all yet, he reminded her a lot her own brother. Brion was never amazing at relationships, she was a huge flirt, and she had kissed plenty of people before, but she was never one of those people who could make friends in a snap. So even though Brion and Lucas weren't friends or anything, she didn't want to mess this up by making a wrong move. Brion was curious, that was it. She was curious about Lucas and what brought him here. She was almost positive he would never talk about it with her, but she couldn't help wondering about his past.

message 517: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments ((lol :3))

Brion looked at him with an unamused expression. She was seriously contemplating punching him in the face. "Sure I guess like you. Maybe slightly less now, but I don't like you in that way." She said with a scowl. "Plus I don't have any girly friends, and I didn't voluntarily get myself beaten up. I am positive I could beat you if I really tried," Brion said coolly. She flattened her hair down and walked over to where her knife was lodged in the dummy. She pulled it out and slipped it back into her belt. I suppose I really could beat him, but I still don't want to hurt anyone of my allies seriously. Though if he keeps this attitude up, I wouldn't mind messing up that handsome face of his. The lights flickered overhead, and Brion glanced up at the ceiling. It really was ugly in here.

message 518: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments "Hand me the dagger, Lucas. I'm not fan girling over you, and how could I love you if I've only just met you?" Brion asked. "Believe it or not I'm not in the mood for flirting at the moment. I came here to train and that's what I'll do." She said. "You know, I might just get Pepper to claw out your eyes after all. You did pretty much suggest it to me earlier," Brion said, searching for a way to get her dagger back. She needed it back. It was a gift from her father, and the only thing left she had to remember him by. After all, she and her brother hadn't had time to waste to pick up any photo albums if they were rushing to the hospital.

message 519: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments No, it's not concealing my diary. It's something much more than that. It might just be a sliver knife to you, but it's a reminder of my family for me. Brion wondered if Lucas had anything like her dagger. Something connecting him to his past. "I'm not a supernatural, so no. I did not cast a spell on this dagger." Brion said. Happy to have her knife back, she gripped it in her palm like it was the most important thing in the world, like she was never going to let it go again. She studied Lucas's face for a moment before asking him, "Why are you flirting with me? It's actually really obvious, you know, and I have to admit you're good at it. But why now?" She sighed in exasperation. "I was focusing on combat techniques, and now you're distracting me. You're probably an even bigger flirt than I am, which is saying something." She bent down and picked up Pepper, who had fallen asleep on the ground.

message 520: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments Brion smirked, and placed a hand on her hip. She looked up at him with her big blue eyes, an eyebrow raised in an incredulous expression--one that worked incredibly well for her. "Is that so? I'm boring?" She gave him a playful smirk. "You just don't know me yet. All you've seen so far, Lucas, is the training side of me... But at this point I don't think I'll be introducing you to much else." She said with a cute shrug. Brion twirled her dagger in one hand and held Pepper cradled in the other arm. She switched into the familiar role of the cute, and flirtatious Brion. the one that had caused many to fall for her during her travels on the road, only to have her break and stomp all over their hearts later.

message 521: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments Brion's expression transitioned from flirtatious and playful, to thoughtful and melancholic. It couldn't hurt to tell him, she supposed. Brion looked up at him, and she actually had to crane her neck to see his eyes properly, since she was so tiny. She tilted her head slightly to the left, and stopped twirling the dagger before opening her mouth. "It just means a lot to me. It's kind of private..." She trailed off, then reconsidered and continued nevertheless. "It was a gift from someone... someone who was very important to me." She said after a moment.

message 522: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments ((Omg. <333))
Brion didn't say anything about the arm that was around her, because she didn't mind really. His arm felt nice, strong and warm around her shoulders. It caused her pulse to quicken slightly. She hadn't realized just how much she missed things like this. She had closed off all doors to people after her parents were killed. The only person who she was open with was her brother... And after she killed him, she completely closed herself off, put up a billion walls, fully disconnecting her from the world. Maybe it's time to let someone in again. Lucas had caused some of those wall to crumble down. "Thank you." She said, and it was for more than the compliments. "And no, it's not too intrusive." She sighed. "It was a gift from my father, when I was younger I thought it was a weird gift to have, but now it comes in really handy. It was after he died that it became special to me." She explained.

message 523: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments ((aww xD I feel bad for Lucas! he really deserves a hug haha))

"Yeah, no rules," Brion said with a wry smile. "This is really unlike me," She said, running a hand through her dark hair. Opening up to someone she just met like this was really out of character for her. Even though she and Lucas had only met a few minutes ago, she felt like she could connect with him. Like she could relate to him. She didn't feel uncomfortable at all, telling him this. "I don't talk about myself this much, let alone with people I just met." She said quietly. She rarely talked about her past, because she didn't like to relive it. It had never occurred to her that keeping it all bottled up inside might not be such a good idea. Maybe talking about it would help her. But she wasn't ready for that yet, no not yet. She didn't want to relive what had haunted her in her sleep just yet.

Brion smiled, a real smile. It felt good to smile for once. "Yeah, you're right. It doesn't feel like we just met, to be honest. And I know a lot about you as well. You're conceited, you're stubborn, your name is Lucas, and you're a hunter." She said. "But... those things are just a small part of us." Brion said, absentmindedly stroking Pepper's fur. "I wouldn't mind getting to know you, actually." She said honestly. This was actually really nice... It was when she noticed people looking at them strangely that she remembered his arm was still around her. She laughed a bit. "They probably think we're a couple or something," She said.

message 525: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments ((LOL :3))
Brion laughed. She was slightly annoyed at the strangers staring at them, I mean couldn't they just mind their own business and continue training or something? "See? Arrogance right there." She said, shaking her head. "I guess I'm kind of being a hypocrite, because I'm pretty conceited myself," Bry said with a sigh. She decided it was time for her to slip out from under his arm, so she did. "Can I have my knife back again? I won't twirl it, if that's why you took it away from me."

message 526: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments "I practice tricks, like twirling my knife, all the time. It's really not that difficult, and I've never gotten cut before. I doubt it will ever happen," She said haughtily. That was a teensy tiny white lie, because when she was eight, she tried to flip the knife around, and she almost cut her pinky finger clean off. That didn't count though, she didn't know what she was doing back then. "You know how we were saying that it seems like we know each other pretty well considering we just met? I don't even know your last name, or where you're from," She mused.

message 527: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments "No, my last name isn't Pepper," She rolled her eyes in a amusement. "It's LeBlanc. My dad was french. I was born in Baltimore, and lived there all my life until a few years ago when my brother and I left." She said. "And Pepper is called pepper because of her blackish, grey and white fur. I was young and I couldn't think of anything else besides Blacky and Pepper." She explained about Pepper's name. "So Lucas Keeton. You're a New Yorker. What's it like? I know this may seem surprising but I've never really been there."

message 528: by sol (new)

sol | 382 comments "It's Camille." She scrunched up her face in disgust. "I don't know what my parents were thinking when they named me," she said with a shake of her head. "New York... I always dreamed of going, and I tried to convince my brother to take me when we were on the road together, but he didnt want to go. I was always the city lover in my family. We lived in the outskirts of Baltimore instead of in the city." She said.

((Gtg!!!))

"I like the name Lucas." Brion shrugged. "I mean come on. My mom named me boy name, and it's not even spelled properly. I considered changing my name a bunch of times when I went through my rebellious pre-teen phase." Bry said. "Baltimore... I mean it was nice. It was really nice... My parents didn't take my brother and I often, we lived in the suburbs after all. But the times that I did go into the city, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Whenever we went my parents would have something extra special in mind, like going to a fancy restaurant or the theatre. When I got older, I went shopping with my friends there. It's a really nice city, it's got it's pros and cons though and there are some shady parts you should stay clear from if you ever go."

"Pssh, yeah right," Brion rolled her eyes at Lucas's 'I would love to have a girl name' comment. Her hair was starting to fall into her face, so she tucked a piece behind her ear and made a mental note to bring a hair tie the next time she went to train. She looked at the training dummy. It was fairly creepy, a faceless, battered up humanoid looking thing. It was the perfect height for her to practice kicks on. Kicks were her strongest skills because of her natural flexibility. Years of martial arts training made her and her brother great at supernatural hunting, not to mention the fact that they were both quick learners and caught on with weapons quickly. "You've got a point about the rebellious thing though," She laughed. "So you'd actually take me to New York?" She asked with her eyebrows raised.

"A Karine? Why a Karine?" She asked with a laugh. "And I do not flip my hair," Brion said, blushing slightly as he tucked her hair behind her ear and couldn't think of anything else to say. Not a lot of people could make her feel so... exposed. She used to be a tightly closed book that no one could touch, that no one could open, yet now for Lucas, the book was wide open for him to read. The strange thing was that she didn't mind. She almost wanted Lucas to be able to get to know her, which was seriously insane. She had just met him! Maybe she hadn't gotten enough sleep last night, or she really was starting to go mental. What the hell? Stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Say something you idiot! Brion told herself. She swallowed and said "Would you take me to the zoo?" What? What am I saying? She mentally face-palmed herself over and over again.

sol | 382 comments ((Hahah :P))

Brion's cheeks flamed an even deeper crimson with embarrassment. He thinks it's hot?? "N-No, no, it's just... I've never been to the zoo before," She stammered lamely. Brion rubbed her temples. "Anyways." She tried to change the subject. "You think that your kindergarten teacher had a thing for you? So you think she's a pedophile?" She asked with her eyebrows raised and hands on her hips. She had had lots of flings in the past, but strangely she didn't want whatever this was to be a fling. Her flings were for her own amusement, for her selfish needs. She didn't want this to be like that, but she didn't know why. Maybe this was different from those times because they were in the same situation.

Jenna ⭐ (sungkew) Orianna's day was not going well. It had started out easy enough with waking from bed and having time to have a nice little chat with one of the local hunters at the 'fine' establishment that was the HQ, but after having left the premises, she found that it only got worse. And worse. As she'd gone out on a little bit of an exploration around the school like she knew she wasn't supposed to, she'd come across the infirmary. Now, as she walked back into the solace the headquarters, she really wished she would have just stayed home. Henry had been there, wounded and looking as though he'd almost died in the time she'd been with him last and then. That had almost been enough to kill the young angel herself when she'd walked into such a scene. Her heart still ached thinking about it. However, what was much worse was the fact that Orianna had gotten herself involved in a conversation with him only to disappear again when he'd fallen asleep. She was a terrible person, Orianna told herself, kicking a small rock that had managed to make it's way into the abandoned warehouse. She was such a terrible person...

No title
((Oh good ol' friend. I have missed yah writing!
Let's roll roll roooollll!!))

Vienna had been going by her normal routine all day, except, she was eating breakfast alone...breakfast being black coffee with two sugars. She had another one of those nights. The scariest nights where she would whimper and shiver in her own tent, a result of the horrific scenes playing inside that head of hers. No peace, no good morning. So she proceeded her day with the same dark shadows under her eyes,, her concealer having ran out from the past few weeks of ordinary days, days like today.

She did somehow miss Axel. He did happen to be her grumpy little boyfriend who had good looks but bad charm. Bless the dear guy.

And so Vee sauntered around the streets trying to find a cosmetics store in these places to buy a new concealer. None. None. None.
Oh of course. They must all be going to sorcerers she had thought. And that's how she spent her day.
All was going normal until a random girl who acted as if she came from a mental institution jumped at her. Who would have guessed her to be some fortune teller?
She predicted Axel to be in great danger in the forest. And so Vee ran in that direction. Along the way she sprinted to this HQ. She needed a healing angel. Heck, she'll grab the nearest one! Even if it was an obese man who looked like a porn addict...

But luckily, the nearest angel was no other than her quirky angel friend, Orianne.

She suddenly yanked Orianne's arm forward and pulled her to the stairs.
This was bad. She could sense it.
"Axel's in danger! Forest! I need you!" Vee whispered.
Were they going to be fast enough? By car? By foot? By metro?

Jenna ⭐ (sungkew) ((Lol, I missed you too, OBUFF >w< Long time no RP, aye?

Orianna had just been wandering around the area, feeling a bit crestfallen I might add, before she realized someone was approaching her. Eyes shifting to the side, she tucked a piece of her light colored hair behind her ear before catching sight of a dark haired being coming towards her. At first, the young angel didn't really understand why it was her that someone was calling to, but it was when the girl suddenly yanked on her arm that Orianna seemed to understand. "W-wait..." She spoke, trying to catch her breath as she stumbled down the steps after the hunter girl. "What is going on?" Her voice wasn't harsh or mean; rather, it was full of complete surprise over what was going on. She hadn't the slightest idea how her friend even knew what was happening with her... boyfriend? That's who she figured this Axel character was; probably the boy she'd healed the other day after the two had came to the HQ looking worse for wear. The boy had gotten injured? And she was expected to save him? Orianna really hoped that if this was really happening that she would be able to do that. If she couldn't... Well, Orianna didn't want to think about that.

((Aye aye, OBUFF!))

Vee was sprinting down the flights of stairs, pulling Orianne behind her.
"I...need you...to heal...him," she panted, in between breaths.
Her small hand was firmly wrapped around Orianne's wrist. Bound to leave marks soon.
She kept her eyes fixed forward, jumping the last five steps of each flight, causing her baggage, Orianne, to stumble.
She didn't care. She just needed to get to Axel as fast as possible.

Finally, Vee reached the front door. She pushed the door open frantically and roughly, like a madwoman. Here she was, so frantic for a boy. What happened to keeping a low profile on their relationship?

Suddenly she stopped walking and became strangely still in a thought.

"Can you fly me to the ruins?" she asked, looking at Orianne with innocent eyes.

Psst, Orianna's name is spelled with an 'a' at the end XD ))

Heal him? Heal him from what? All these little thoughts ricocheted through Orianna's confused mind as she let herself be dragged, albeit a little more than mixed up in how she was going to heal this boy if he was so injured. This last thought was only a guess, but Vienna seemed to be quite certain that he was in amazing peril. If that was the case... well, Orianna supposed she'd just have to try her best. She'd healed bone before, but that didn't compare to bringing someone back from near death. She didn't know if she was capable of such amazing things such as that yet. As they came to an abrupt stop at the front door, Orianna looked into her friend's eyes with a bit of surprise before nodding. "Yeah, I can." She took a bit of a breath, "Ready?"

((How exactly are they going to fly? Like, holding hands or like an eagle holding a child?))

Jenna ⭐ (sungkew) ((Hold hands :) It's almost more like teleportation than flying. Supernatural style ;) ))

((Scouts Honour! (What the hell. I'm not even a scout.)

Sowwy 'bout Orianna's name!!!!!!!!!))

Vee gripped onto Orianna's wrist tighter.
"As fast as you can. Faster than the metro," she whispered.
She had just landed butt first in love with this douche bag of a boyfriend who made her promise to never leave him when he is either leaving or has already left her first. Oh, she was going to scold his ears raw. He promised to take her to Mexico. She gave him her V card. He couldn't see her. But she could see him. He said he loved her. She said she loved him.
He told her not to leave him.
And, he's leaving her first.

That's it, Axel deserves a b****slap when he gets better.

But what if it were too late...

Vee let a drop of tear escape her eye and sniffled before wiping away. Images of a bloody Axel, close to death, erupted in her mind. Then images of them together mixed in.

She gripped Orianna tighter, probably almost stopping her blood flow.

What if Axel won't get better? He'll get better. He will he will.

That's it. Axel's getting two b****slaps and both ears scolded raw.

Jenna ⭐ (sungkew) ((Lol, XD I give you my scouts honor as well.
Psh, it's okay. Don't worry about it :) ))

As she felt Vienna's grip tighten around her wrist, Orianna winced before letting out a breath and tried her hardest to concentrate on the ruins. She'd been there once or twice before and really hoped that it wouldn't be too much of a difficult task to get them there in one piece. Though she'd been trying out the skill over the past few days, Orianna was still new to the whole flying thing. She could even remember the first day she got the ability that she'd landed in a bush. Hopefully something like that wouldn't be happening today.

As she closed her eyes in an attempt to get a better grasp on the location, Orianna was acutely aware of just how distraught Vee seemed to be over this. At first, Orianna wondered how sound the reasoning behind this was and whether Axel was really injured. It didn't seem like the hunter girl had very much proof. However, it was then that Orianna understood. It didn't matter what the basis of proof was. If the roles had been reversed and Orianna had a clue to Henry being injured, she would have been there in a heartbeat, regardless of how faulty the information might be. When you cared about someone, you just did those sort of things. "Alright." She breathed quietly as she pictured it. And within a moment and a small fluttering sound that vaguely resembled the ruffling of wings, the two were gone.

((Switch topics? :3 ))

((OMG I'M SOOO SORRY!! I JUST SAW THIS!! SORRY!!!!!!!))

Brion snapped out of whatever trance she was in. Blushing? Stop acting like a fool, you idiot. How could I let myself start thinking like that? She couldn't get close to anyone, not at all. She didn't want to feel that pain again. The pain of losing someone you loved. That was why she never made friends or even tried to be nice. She didn't want to hurt those she cared for anymore, nit after what she did. This was the first time she had felt any form of... well, liking to someone other than Pepper. She stepped away from Lucas. "I have to go." She said coolly. "It was nice training with you." You can't live in your own little world, shutting everyone out, forever you know! Said a little voice at the back of her mind. She pushed the thought away, closing her eyes.

Brion stood there, stunned and not sure what to say for a moment. She didn't know whether to say yes or no... And was really tempted to accept. She really liked being with this guy, even though they had only met that day. Lucas was slowly melting her ice cold heart, and she wasn't sure how to feel about that. "What do you mean I can't just leave? I can do whatever I want," She said finally, furrowing her brow. "And leaving people isn't a good quality to have." She added on, running a hand through her hair. She was silent again, trying to rearrange the thoughts swirling around her brain. Something was telling her that she needed this, that she needed someone in her life again to wake her from the stupor of loneliness she was trapped inside. "Okay," She said. "Let's take a walk. I think I just need some air," She said taking a deep breath.

sol | 382 comments ((okay I'm sorry in advance for crappy posts, but I'm absolutely exhausted right now o.o))

She didn't know why she said yes, quite frankly. It wasn't even her that had accepted. It was that tiny part of her that needed somebody, and she didn't like that part of herself at all. Not one bit. And had Lucas really just called her perfect? "I am definitely not perfect. No one is perfect. Honestly, I'm the complete opposite of perfect. I'm a huge mess." She said, shaking her head. "And I wouldn't say that you're perfect, either." She added, casually shrugging out from underneath his hold, uncomfortable with his arm slung over her shoulder. "Wipe that smirk off your face," She was in a crappy mood now. It was because she was so conflicted with what she was feeling all of a sudden. Brion was confused and for once, not sure how to deal with the situation. "It doesn't matter, really, as long as it's outside." She absentmindedly stroked Pepper's fur as they walked out of the training room.

Jenna ⭐ (sungkew) It was with the fluttering of angel wings and a small rush of wind that Orianna appeared in the HQ, her friend, Vienna, still clutching her arms. There was a frazzled quality to the young nephilim's appearance as she landed them within the building, the exhaustion settling over her. She'd used too much of her strength today, and she would need some nice relaxation to subside that. But first, she needed to see to the fact that everything was okay. Gaze sweeping the establishment before her, she vaguely registered that there were a few people around, though none of them were the ones that she wanted to see. A boy and girl were busy flirting it up one being Lucas who Jenny thinks is hot and it's not just because his FC is James Gaisford, and there were a few angels scattered about, but Orianna didn't see the one person she knew her friend would want to in this moment: Axel.
