Zack Love (zacklove) The Syrian Virgin by Zack Love
99 cent sale of my newly released novel "THE SYRIAN VIRGIN": This is a gripping story about a young woman's journey from war in Syria to love in New York. The book has been compared to "The Diary of Anne Frank" and "The Kite Runner."

Philip Whiteland | 1 comments Hi everyone and thanks for letting me join this group.

Can I take a moment to mention my latest compilation of stories, Giving a Bull Stawberries The 'nostalgedy' collection Book 4? If you want to know the type of stuff that I write, you could do worse than check out the articles I have published to date on Readwave: http://www.readwave.com/a-line-about-...

Hope you enjoy these and I would love to hear your feedback.

G.M. Potter | 1 comments I write as G. M. Potter but in these groups my name is George. I have recently completed the publication (long and arduous) of a collection of short stories, Clowns and Buffoons: short stories. I am also developing a Facebook page devoted to the short story, The Emerging Short Story, and would appreciate any feedback from lovers of the short in the future. I am beginning a feature on this page (October 1st) that focuses on one great author of the form. It is a monthly feature called An Author You Should Know. October features John Cheever, a long-time favorite of mine. I would appreciate any input on this feature as it is a new venture for me, and one I hope to gain much from in the coming months. Thanks.

Jon (jonedgell) | 1 comments Dear all
I currently have 4 very short stories available - a couple are free at smashwords etc https://www.smashwords.com/profile/vi...
and one is free on amazon this week viewbook.at/resolution

I'd love any feedback and/or reviews. The brief details are-
Resolution - musings on time, space and music
Drowndog - an experimental more magi-realism story about a dog lost in a pond on the South Downs
Bust - a story about a man who is accused of defrauding his company
Drive - a family story about a boy asking to borrow his father's precious car.
Thank you all! Jon

Diana L. Walker | 6 comments Hi everyone. I had an idea that I thought was pretty original. I wrote 100 stories consisting of exactly 100 words each. It wasn't easy, so I challenged my readers to try it. It's a great exercise in learning to control your "rambling writing" and wonderful editing experience. Plus, they are pretty cute little stories. You can find it on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B017VCV4TA.

Sylvie | 1 comments Just discovered you. I find having a theme for an anthology is useful. My latest (paperback, Ebook , audio book) self-published anthology entitled "It'll be Better Tomorrow is" celebrating Senior Citizens (a subject on which I am more than qualified). We're an under-valued lot. The stories are also about our relatives and carers. Having a theme helps with promotion (such as targeting OAP groups). Good luck to us all. How about another Watery Anthology Jay?

Diana L. Walker | 6 comments My inexpensive booklet is an easy guide to helping writers learn excellent editing skills through example. I have written EXACTLY 100 narratives of EXACTLY 100 words apiece. You will read short narratives that have been cut, edited, and rearranged to make them succinct and readable. Great help for beginning writers!
