Today's the deadline for the first contest. Can I post it tonight?

message 3: by Paige (new)

Paige Miller Yes, today officially ends at midnight, so you can post it whenever you want today.

Okay, thanks! I'll have to see if I can wrap up my story. *unsure*

Well, I got mine in in time. Not sure if I really like it and don't know what it's about...lol!

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) I know I can't do anything about this one, but for other ones, do you just want a summary like I gave this time, or would you rather have details of grammatical errors, misspellings, and content? If you wish, I could judge unless I say otherwise. It's up to you.

Paige Miller That's fine, Randi. You judge however you feel it's appropiate.

Now, if it's okay with everyone, I was thinking maybe the winner should be the judge for the next contest. It would make things more fair.

By the way, the next contest will start tomorrow, Tuesday, May 12th, and go until next Tuesday, May 19th. I'm just choosing random days, because that's when I got my act together. *sheepish grin*

I think that's a great idea, Tink! Looking forward to judging the next one!

message 9: by Kenzie (new)

Kenzie Eh, well, I'm not a huge fan of that. I don't like the idea of "forcing" someone to judge. Maybe the winner gets to decide whether or not they want to judge the next one, and if they do, then they get to no matter what? If they don't, first come first serve.

message 10: by Paige (new)

Paige Miller I like that! Good plan, Kenzie. Alright, we'll go with that then.

Paige Miller Well, I want your story to feel complete to you, which is why I try to leave a big space between the minimum and maximum, you know? So aim for finishing the story, wherever your word count may be. It can be a bit over or under, whatever works for you.
