I haven't heard of some of them Michael...the first and the last is all:)

You have some catching up to do then.
There are also lists like the Rory Gilmore reading list which lists every book she read in The Gilmore Girls (there were a lot)

1001 Books To Read Before You Die
HRF Keating 100 Best Crime & Mystery Books
Modern Library’s 100 Best Novels
TIME’S Best Novels List
The Telegraph's 100 Essential Reads
The Top 100 Crime Novels of All Time
The Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge

Ok thank you!!

I like to browse through them and have often found them quite helpful especially on genres I’m not familiar with - like crime.

Your link doesn't work here either Bette? Are you just copying and pasting? If so, that is why:)

It's good to be made aware of 'important', most popular, current and 'must read' books. These lists often guide me into great literature that I'm so glad I read.

You did the link correctly, but didn't take it from the right page, so you went to Literary Exploration's home page instead...the link you should have used, going from Michael's above, is http://literary-exploration.com/readi...
You don't need to put the - - between the words either, unless you want to:)

I like book lists too. They often provoke me into trying different books.
