The Past
Kale Ivy Institute [KII]

It's not just a High School, this is the High School.

Students of KII are the spawn of; Actors, Artists, Dancers, Writers, Doctors, Singers, Millionaires, Olympians, Scientists, Celebrities, and pretty much any other person in this world who makes serious cash. Kale is the boarding school of the elite--the best of the best. It's the resident school of its own island, landed a few miles off the coast of Australia. The school is isolated to keep the residents out of danger, and to make protection easier. Not to mention, it's a pretty luxurious place; nothing but the best for the tuition your parents pay every year.

Upon entrance to the premises, you will be asked a question, one that will determine your entire experience here at Kale. What is your team? This age-old question used to hold a lesser value... the separation of houses started off as just that: varying dorms for the likes of the students. This was a way to create competition and sports teams--since the school obviously wouldn't be competition with public schools. But through the years, the teams have become a more dominant thing. They are based off of cliques and athleticism, rather than a simple floor plan. And, as you might have guessed, there isn't just school competitions going on through Kale. It has become more sinister.

The four houses now wage war against each other, advocated by pranks and rivalries... it's even common for faculty to favor their color.

But, there is one unspoken factor that all Teams can agree on. No. Scholarship. Kids. Allowed.

This will be the first year Kale Ivy Institute will be accepting kids on scholarship, and you better believe people aren't happy about it. Kale is for the high society--not the low class. When people received this in the news letter, they were appalled. Some even drew out of the school's program... but of course they re-admitted upon realization the school board wasn't budging. Kale is an intellectual school, and it would be known for its academic achievement... not it's party-party reputation.

Due to the safety and well-being of those select scholarship students, their identity as scholarship students will be hidden.

But there's a new team soon to be rising on the horizon, its sole purpose is to get the Rich-Wanna'-Be's OUT, by any means necessary. Their color is Red, and you're about to find out why.

The Present
The first thing you'll do here, just like last year and every year before it, is come to the Welcome Dance!

This is mandatory to all students, since it's your Orientation. No, Seniors are not exempt. The policies change every year, so you--just like every other student, are required to receive your Team Token and attend the dance. Remember, you are required to wear your token at all times, after it has been distributed. If you are an upperclassman, you can wear any of your tokens--as you have received a different one for every year you attend Kale Ivy Institute.

Team Tokens are as follows; Reminder, each token is in your team's color, they are the same for every house--the only difference being the color that represents your team.

Freshman (09): A silver bracelet engraved with your team name/color.

Sophomores (10): A gold bracelet engraved with your team name/color.

Juniors (11): A necklace with a jewel in the middle with your team color.

Seniors (12): A class ring. The jewel will be the color of your team, the rest of the design is up to you as a student.

The Future
As you attend Kale this year, you will be tested academically and athletically.

Each team will participate in challenges throughout the year, and will be rewarded daily through achievement.

The current holder of the Championship is team BLACK GAVELS.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

As you might have guessed, this group is a mystery. The plot will be group members trying to guess who the scholarship students are and who is on the Red Team.

It's not as easy as it sounds though. Just as your character gets close to solving what's really happening, they might just slip down the stairs.

Or was it because they themselves were a scholli-kid?
