Bailey Rutan I've been watching fans of the books react to this movie, and I've noticed that the most hate is towards the two who will be playing Tyson and Clarisse.

Some say Tyson should have been bigger.
Some say Clarisse was supposed to be bigger.
etc.

Honestly, I like them both. I think they both fit pretty well. I feel like I'm the only one who thinks this, but still. I think this movie will be much better in terms of the book than the first.

Opinions?

Maari Although the actor for Tyson is correct i find the actress for Clarisse too...pretty. I always imagined her more of a tomboy character who was not to be messed with (but the movie makes her look like a child of Aphrodite!)

Bailey Rutan I always thought of her as both.

Monica I picture clarisse like a tomboy not unattractive just a tomboy. But im just happy to see her in the movie she was left out that awful first one. She was one of my favs and i had hope she was part of the prophesy instead of others but tne author went another direction. This movie looks pretty good. i picture tyson bigger

Jazz I have to agree. I'm a bit disappointed with Tyson and Clarisse. I've always pictured Tyson big, like your know your typical cyclops. I mean I don't even know if the actor is even as tall as the actor for Percy. The only thing I can say about Clarisse is shouldn't it be a crime to make a character that is supposed to tomboy-ish and not on the pretty side more appealing than Annabeth, the girl who is supposed to be both pretty and smart. Just saying.

Kathryn I agree with Tyson. I pictured him big and I liked how he doesn't understand how to control his own strengths because he's like a little kid trapped in a monster's body. The actor doesn't do it for me, I guess. However I'm not mad about the actress who plays Clarisse but I'm not impressed. I guess looks alone she's not the best choice, but I really liked how she presented herself and I know this is weird but I LOVE her voice its suits her character well.

I feel like they just put her in the movie because they needed another known star to fill in. I mean, who better to play as an important character like Clarisse then the girl who played as Glimmer on Hunger Games.

Shahed its all a plot! they want us to start liking Ares' kids! Athena will put an end to this... and 'am already falling the movie Clarrise :3

Hannah I guess I imagined Tyson to be bigger but I think the kid playing him is really cute, I like the dreadlocks and his whole look. Doesn't have anything to do with the actor for me.

I'm kind of just happy they put Clarisse in the film honestly. She's not exactly how I pictured her at all but I'm willing to roll with it.

Kathryne Kole I like their Tyson, he fits, except for the face that he talks like a normal teen, not a four year old... But Clarrise...looks like she went onto one of those, "What Not To Wear" shows and came out looking like this...With a little dirt in her hair and on her face, and getting rid of every trace of makeup though and I can see how this might work.

Donita Tyson was okay since I haven't had a good look of him. For Clarisse, she's too pretty. She would be a perfect Selena (<----We miss you!), though.

I agree! But no, they have someone else for Selena and she looks AWFUL! Also, Tyson's HAIR LOOKS LIKE A MOP!!!! -_-

Not to be rude or anything but I think that was the point. HE was homeless.

notyourfriend True....

Kaelyn I always thought Book Clarisse to be big and bulky...not like Movie Clarisse...

I COMPLETELY agree!!!

Christine B While Tyson should have been a bit bigger, and talked a bit more childish, I think that the rest of his look (dirty-ish looking dreads, big flannel shirts, etc.) is the reason why i believe he'll be good enough as my favorite little cyclops. But, CLARISSE, on the other hand, should look quite a bit different. She should have looked like the typical Ares kid. Big, bulky, brute-ish, and I can't begin to explain more. I'm thoroughly annoyed that they couldn't at least get her appearance close to the book Clarisse, considering they owe her for leaving her out last time. But, then again, they got things close to right this time so, I've gone into a grim acceptance of the director's stupidity.

Perri As a person who has already seen the movie I can say that at first I thought that Clarisse should have been bigger and meaner and Tyson just shouldn't look like that at all, but after seeing the movie I think that even though Clarisse was a bit smaller than I expected she was still plenty mean and Tyson, well he was perfect although I will never get over the fact that in the movie he has perfect speech.

Yes, Tyson does have good speech in the movie, but I feel like that was kind of necessary. It would have been harder for them to get things across and done fastly if he only spoke a word or two at a time.

I agree, but I must say, even though Clarisse was WAY off, she acted good! I was surprised.

❍◦●○❍Brooklyn ❍○●◦❍ I know right Clarisse is a little to wimpy, Tysons is ok though.

★ Mist ☆ Cassidy ★ Clarisse bugged me. She's suppose to be the camp-bully who can't stand Percy, but instead, in the movie, she begins to basically worship Percy and listens to his every word. It just bugged me how they made her be the good guy when (view spoiler)

That is true. And that's why in the last one, it was so amazing. That's when you find out the truth.
