Do you prefer books to be open-ended or tie everything up neatly?

Do you like that or would you prefer to have things left to your imagination?

Generally, I like stories mostly wrapped up, but I don't mind a bit of the story left open for imagination.

Same for me. And I would add further that I generally prefer a happy ending, not necessarily a romantic attachment, but some satisfaction or resolution for the protagonist.
