Victoria (zemfirka) I've browsed the topics and I don't think I've seen any questions on this subject, so I thought I'd ask. Please excuse my ignorance if it's an obvious thing, and in my defense I'm a new blogger.

So, the question is: where do you find good quality, royalty-free, free-of-charge images for your blog? I mean, say you want to do a feature or something unrelated to a book review and you want an image to go with it where do you go?

I don't want to cheat any artists of their money, and definitely don't want to steal images, but blogging is a hobby, and I don't even have a wide reader-base to warrant spending $$$. What do I do?

Thanks for your advice! :)

Kate (kaitlins16) I'm wondering the same thing as you. I'm pretty new to blogging also.

I've tried Google, and it suggests plenty of sites, but once you get to the image you like it always seems there is either a price or a annual fee... :-/ Don't know...

Michelle (deckfullojokers) I use sxc.hu It's a stock photo place...basically pictures are uploaded there for the use of people to manipulate and use as they want as long as it is not to make money. Each photo has different rules, but generally stock photos are free.
