The Spark (Part 1 of The E.D.E.N. Project)
((Sorry, my computer just broke down...I'm working on my reply...))
"Okay. Off we go, then," Leo grinned, liking the idea of chicken. He jogged hastily towards the elevators and climbed on board the rolling steps. Leaning on the rubber railings, he looked down at the busy people shopping and laughing. He wondered when was the last time he had done such things. The last time you had friends, he mind said cruelly, drawing Ruth back into his head. He missed the old Ruth. The one that talked funny and was kind to him, the one that would laugh off every mistake and help him when he couldn't figure something out. The Ruth that wasn't as cold or miserable.
He looked over his shoulder, at the boy around two inches shorter than him. He had long black hair that fell into his amber eyes. The eyes that Leo once looked into and awed at. Then there was the pale face, looking out the glass walls that now always glared and frowned at him. Biting his lip, he wished Ruth never came into his life.

((If the tram ride doesn't end soon I will kill Fallon. She will jump out the tram window and fall to her doom.))

Fallon looked up at him. "Hey," She said quietly. "That was really... An interesting experience." She said about the Jenna/Alexia/Vincent incident.

"Rosa," She lied, swiftly. Scarlet looked at his hand, scowling. She didn't return the shake.
Alex wrote: ""Well... uh. What are you?" He asked optimistically. He nodded to the other girl in greeting. "Vincent, Vincent Soler." He said to the girl, holding out his hand for her to shake."
"I'm a Bender." Fallon replied. "How about yourself?"

Surkhab wrote: ""You know, guys, I wonder why we just don't sort it all out. We all know how we are feeling towards each other right now. This is getting really awkward." Maisie suggested as the left the elevator,..."
"That, apparently, was the reason why we entered that... coffee place," Ruth muttered but Leo interrupted before he could say anymore, "You mean Star Bucks. And yeah, since coffee didn't turn out, maybe chicken would relieve the mood better, huh?"
Ruth shook his head slightly in disgust, "As long as the ch-" "The chicken is fried," Leo said quickly before Ruth could finish with 'As long as the chicken is raw'. Leo wondered if Bleeders would ever have enough of blood. Or maybe Ruth was just being mean.
Entering the air-conditioned and much cooler restaurant, the four made their way to a four-seated table next to a window again. Immediately, they did what they did at Star Bucks. Leo checked the menu and settled for a giant chicken burger while Ruth peered out the window and tried spotting fat pigeons again.
In no mood to start any conversation or whatsoever, Leo just sat back on the plastic chair and watched Maisie and Zena. Maybe they would sort this out first, though he doubted it would be fast.

((Hi, Aidan. ;) Just asking but where did Demitri just walk into? There either the tram or KFC...))
((Yeah, KFC stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken. :))
Leo perked up when he saw Demitri. "Hey, Dem! Over here!" he said, waving Demitri over. (Demitri is a Simpcon, right? Leo and Ruth are half-Simpcons so they probably know each other. Zena too.)
Ruth turned from the window slowly, not really excited to meet another Simpcon. What was Demitri doing here? So all he did was offer a curt nod and peered outside again.

"Just having a meeting with my old friend, new Simpcon buddy and a... normal person," Leo said nodding in Maisie's direction. He was about to say 'Freelancer' but that would have blown her cover maybe, like she was afraid Ruth would a few minutes ago. "Meet Zena, a fellow Simpcon." He raised a finger to point at the scarlet-headed girl who was around a few inches shorter then himself.
Ruth was paying attention. Yes, he was a half-Freelancer and half-Simpcon but the Simpcon side, these days, was growing bigger. He had killed tons of Freelancers before without mercy or hesitation, he wondered if he was a Freelancer at all or just a liar and pretender. Maybe the latter.
"And that, as you should remember, is Ruth. My worst enemy till death," Leo continued, pointing at Ruth this time. "So, buddy, heard of any recent news? Or just the same old 'wait for orders to kill' again?" he asked, wolf-like eyes gleaming.
((Hey, do you think it would be cool to have some Simpcon Boss or some Head of the Simpcons?))

((*coughs as tumbleweed tumble across my feet* Um, hello? Is anybody still on? *looks about the empty room*))
((Who. Is. Matt. Smith? o.O))
((This is going to sound random but I'm confused about 'ciao' some people use it when they leave while others use it as a greeting. Aidan, did you just return from somewhere?))
((Sure. Now let's continue with our RP, people?))
((What does that mean, may I ask?))
((Oh. Sorry if I was rude about that. Want to continue with the RP?))
Fallon nodded. "Cool," I reply. "You know, I really am sorry about earlier. I've had quite the day," she said, fiddling with her locket.
((Aidan? I posted long ago... Do you want to reply?))
"Hey Zena" he said to the girl walking up to him, "who's your friend" he said Herriot to Masie (sp?)
((Okay guys. I'm back from creating Alec. What's up?))
Demitri turned back to Zena, "just flog some things" he replies
(I'm kind of confused, where's Fen and Whil and Alexia and Fallon?)

He also tried to think like Maisie. Maybe she thought it was because of blood lust that Ruth had killed his friends. But she was wrong if she thought that. Yes, blood lust increased the strength and speed of a Bleeder but Ruth was far from hungry then... Shrugging slightly to wring the thoughts far away, Leo awaited their answer.
