Remus, if I only had to pick one. The other deaths seemed to have some purpose, whether to make the book touch a personal note (Hedwig, Fred) or serve a plot purpose (Severus), but I think killing both Tonks AND Remus in one sentence was pointless. I think Tonks would be useless without Remus and a poor mother because of it, but Remus was strong and could've been a good father to his son without Tonks being alive.

Lupin. He could have been the "father figure" that Harry never had and could have been there for Poor little Teddy too. His death in particular made me cry. and also Fred because you can't have George without Fred and they are such a bog part of each other's lives.

That's all I think about, Teddy losing both his mum and dad in one night.... he was like a month old when they died, I think. Makes me super sad.
To lose your twin/best mate...I can't even imagine. I feel like Fred's death was unnecessary. However, I know that in war people will die. Death toll.
I would most defiantly save Hegwig and Siruis. By the end Harry had no family left. His pet or his god-father

lol, i loved that bird too
Hedwig, Fred, and the old muggle groundskeeper- I always felt bad that guy died. Come on Voldy was that really necessary?
Brooke wrote: "Fred, Sirius, and Remus. Fred's death was unnecessary."ALL murder is unnecessary, and there should never be such a phrase as "justified homicide." If it's justified then it's not a homicide. Period.
From a person who knows more about violent death than she wants to be informed.
Albus Dumbledore and Hedwig. Lupin and Tonks, because I hate to see someone grow up as an orphan. Teddy, their son, grows up without both his parents.
Only three.Wow.
My entire life I've been mourning these people, and still I cannot easily choose only three.
Fred, Lupin, Sirius.
I think I want all of them to live except Snape because his death was vital. Same with Dumbledore, but just why!
I just read some other comments and neither Lily nor James should have lived. That would have changed way too much of the story. Imagine no Dursleys. This what have been way too different, although Harry deserved his parents.

Oh I so would LOVE him to come back to life. Let's get James, Lily and Albus Potter in here to defete him again!
Are there more of them or did I get the names wrong?

OH Dobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fred, of course, because I don't think you can have one of the twins without the other. George will never be the same without Fred. And then Hedwig, because her death was kind of unnecessary. Once she was gone, you kind of forgot she existed, and I think she was important in many ways.
Finally, Dobby, because he was amazing. He was really sweet
I hate to choose only three but the three that I would save would be dobby, Fred, and Sirius. Those were the deaths that made me cry the most.
Fred, Sirius and especially Dobby. I cried when Dobby died, both when I read it and when I saw the film, he was so loyal to Harry.
The truth? Only Lupin and Tonks, maybe Fred. Because everyone else, thought i would prefer that they didnt die, there deaths have a meaning. Tonks, Lupins and Freds death doesnt afect the story, it would be the same. So, just they. Dobbys death show us what a creature can do for a friend, Sirius is the liberty of life (?, and yes, its sad that Harry is alone, but he survives, hahah. But this doesnt say that i like theis deaths. I would infinitly prefer they not to die.
I DONT KNOOOOW!!!! ALLL the good people who dies I wanna save!!Dobby, Tonks, Lupin, Fred, Sirius, Dumbledore, ETC!!!!
Brittain wrote: "Fred. It was so heartbreaking, especially hearing the story about Molly's boggart."Yes, Fred. That was the worst one.
I would just save Dobby.
...And maybe Hedwig.
...Yep. That's everyone.

Fred,Lupin,Sirius,Tonks,Mad Eye,Dumbledore.I cried a lot when Dumbledore died.
Fred. It always makes me sad when I think of George without him.
Snape. It would really be intresting to see Snape and Harrys relationship if Snape survived.
Dobby. I know it maybe made the story better (it made an intresitng scene, that I really liked... And in the same time strongly disliked!). But Dobby did not deserve to die.
