Clark, fully expecting a kiss like this, kissed him back heatedly. "Yeah," He breathed. "I know."
Clark made a noise that sounded surprisingly like a struggling whimper. "Don't... Don't even get me started..." He groaned and pulled him closer again now that his shirt was out of the way. "Everytime I see you without a shirt, I can't believe I ever liked girls... They never do that to me..."
"Good," Clark nodded and pressed up against him, kissing him back with passion that probably would, under normal circumstances, prelude to something much more private. Something that should never be executed on a couch while one's family was home for the weekend. "That's really good..."
He debated it. I mean, of course he wanted to. When did he not? It wasn't like the Krytonian ever got tired. Although, if anyone could tire him out, it was probably Hal Jordan... But, back to topic, that would mean racing back upstairs to do it. He was not about to do it on the couch. "Sure... If you want to," he said, considering this time they would remember to lock the door.
Clark nodded with a grin. "Sure," He got up and dragged Hal out of the couch by his hand. "Then let's go."
((Brt! :) ))
((Brt! :) ))
To be honest, he completely forgot about the bedroom. He was just too excited to get to the field. Never had he looked forward fieldwork so much. "Where do you want to pick up food?" He asked, shoving his feet into his runners.
Clark jumped into the driver's seat happily and stuck the keys into the ignition. "Where is it?" He asked as the engine started up.
((Damn it. See, I do comment, but my internet is all screwed up so I have to guess when my comment gets posted because it won't tell me. -.- I'll do it again...))
Clark nodded and started downtown. "Right." He said, then nodded to the glove box. "Put something on?" He asked, meaning the stack of CD playlists hidden inside the compartment.
((Either one is cool with me :) ))

Clark was quiet for a while, keeping his eyes on the road. After a bit, however, he reached out and turned the volume down on the radio a little. "Whatcha thinking babe?" He asked, glancing at his quiet boyfriend curiously.
"Oh." Clark grimaced a little. "Right. Carol." To be honest, he hadn't seen her around either. Not for a long time.
"Yeah, no... I'm wondering that too... She just kinda dropped off the radar, hey?" He said, pausing at a light before turning left to pass the Metropolis library.
Clark pulled into a parking lot just a couple buildings down from the spot. He was sure Hal didn't mind walking. "What?"
He shut the engine off and just sat there for a while, glancing over at Hal every now and then. Ah. He was thinking. Okay, then. Clark wasn't about to try and ask what he was thinking about.
Clark walked beside him quietly, and heard the whisper as it escaped Hal. He frowned slightly, just a little worried about him. "You okay?"
Clark made a small noise and just nodded, opening the door to the bakery for them to head inside. "Okay, then..." His doubts weren't entirely dissapated.
Clark followed behind Hal, gazing around the shop in slight boredom. He was hungry, though, never having eaten breakfast. But he had no idea what the difference was between the cakes, besides what he could see - which wasn't enough for him. Besides that, he felt a little antcy, as if there was something he was missing. "I'm uh... I'm going to go wait outside, kay babe? Pick me out something good?" He asked, giving him a quick kiss so he wasn't mad.
((Gotcha. ;) Just wanted to make sure. Lol
Btw, I can't comment on PetexWade tonight. My laptop isn't accepting wifi. We just got hit by a massive storm, and our antenna is all screwed up. We have a guy coming out tomorrow to try and fix it. My phone is super slow as well. I have to refresh a page over three times to get it to load properly.))
Clark plowed into him sidways, sending the Parasite skidding across the street away from his small victim. Hardly a moment was given to the villain to recover before Clark was on him again, pinning the man against the wall by an arm over his chest. "Take some advice," he growled. "And give up now."

((You know, it would be nice to get a reaction like, 'don't worry about it, I can wait. There's nothing you can do about it so I won't get angry at you'. It's not my fault. I'm doing the best with what I got here, and I shouldn't have to feel stressed out because my internet isn't working properly.))
((It's fine. :) I'm sorry too, I just had to say something. :P))
It was an odd battle move, and it took Clark by surprise. He managed to tear his face away, but it was much more difficult than it should have been. "What was that?" He muttered, half to himself as he shook his head and regained his ground enough to send a bullet of heat vision at the man.

((Wow. Someone was bored while I was gone. Lol! Excellent pics. I never would have pictured Carol that way.))
Clark wrestled with him, twisting and jerking until he had freed himself; but not without effort. It was a strange feeling to suddenly have to work to get away, and it was kind of a scary one for him. The sudden drainage of power cost him to swoon slightly, and he took a precautionary step back away from Parasite. "What... What did you..." He frowned, feeling sick to his gut.

Clark busted the brick as he collided with it, but staggered back to his feet more or less unharmed. When Parasite said that he had the powers of Krypton, he wasn't lying, but he hadn't completely drained Kal. That would be impossible as long as the sun was up, and even then. "That's gross." He murmered, and mustered up what was left of his heatvision. He shot at the creature's face while he went low and tackled his knees.
Clark struggled and squirmed, fighting against the Parasite's hold almost desperately. "Let...Go..." He growled in effort, but was nearly too weak.
Clark smashed through the wall like a heavy bullet, beginning to burn in places he didn't know could burn. Everywhere. Was that what his own heatvision felt like? Ouch.
((Any ideas for how to get at him?))

((Okay, I knew Kryptonite. :P Magic rings a bell too. But Red sun? Good thing we have the yellow sun. ;) Kryptonite is out of the question, Red sun is too. How does he get magic, do you suppose?))
Clark, at hearing Hal's voice, tried sitting up. He got as far as his elbows before had to stop for a moment because his vision began to swim. "'Bout... Time." He grunted, finally making it to his feet.
Without hesitation, Clark braced himself before rushing towards them. As usual, he used a combination of heatvision and strength to tackle Parasite off Hal and onto the ground. There he used his lazers to try and fry the creature's face, since his eyes took less energy to use.
If he had thought about it, this was an obvious come back. Kal flew back and skidded down the asphalt for several meters before coming to a shuddering stop beneath a groaning streetlamp.
((You did? I swear I checked. -.- I'll try again.))
Clark looked up, his blue eyes darkening with a clouding anger. "If you want me," he said, voice gravelly for more than one reason as he reached out to wrap a hand around the lamp post's base. His fingers dug into the metal as if it was butter, but with a much uglier noise. It screetched and bent over as Kal easily tore it away from it's base. "Come and get me."

((I replied on Spidey/Deapool and Josh/Sky))
Kal planted his feet firmly on the ground as the Parasite came rushing over, his grip tightening on the post. As soon as he was within limits, Clark shifted and swung the metal over his head, causing it to come crashing with incredible force onto the creature's shoulders.

Clark, good enough with his own abilities to know when they were coming, ran ahead at equal speed when the Parasite leaped. He slipped underneath and behind him, letting the man coming to a crashing stop on the sidewalk behind him.
Of course he did. That was his job. Kal sped over and snatched the sidewalk out of the air with effort, and dragged it away as the citizens screamed and raced around like chickens without heads.
Clark dropped from the sky like a rock, just slowing down enough so he didn't destroy the pavement. He shook and eventually managed to tear Parasite off and threw him back down the street with massive force.
The hole in his gut stitched up and Clark took a deep breath. "Finally..." He muttered, the spotted Hal on the ground further along. Kal was there within the moment, on his knees beside him. "Hal?" He said cautiously. "Babe you... You okay?"
"Not alone." Clark reminded him, giving Hal a relieved smile in return. "I would be toast if not for you."
Kal shook his head sincerely and hugged him back just as tight (but careful not to go tighter... just in case). "Never."
Clark smiled back and nodded, hovering next to him tiredly. "Yeah..." He said, cuddling into him midair.
Clark smiled back and kissed him in return, nearly falling asleep on him in the middle of it all.
"I..." Clark frowned deeply and looked down. "Well, uh, I guess I did..." He looked over at Hal as he laughed and smirked. "Did I sink?"
Clark sighed and laid back in the air, dragging Hal over so he laid ontop of him. "I'm so stupid." He muttered with a small smirk still playing on his face. "Falling asleep in the air... God."
"You forgive me, then?" Clark gave him a look of such innocence, garnished by his set of winning eyes. "Hal?" He kissed him back chastly.
((Hmmmm... Dunno. Would you be up to a DC/MARVEL crossover?))
Clark shrugged and his head was slowly pushed back as Hal kissed him, but then he began to level the field by kissing him back. "Sorry..."

((Yep. ^.^ And I meant villains, just so you get some magic in there. General Zod sounds good too! Or are we saving him for later?))
Clark blinked at him. "The only Kryptonian." He reminded him quietly, sobering a little as the thoughts snuck into his head.
