Did anyone else think that the only way that James and Sloane would remember there memories was for the memories to repeat themselves, before the book ended?

I KNEW THAT THE MEMORIES WOULD BE REPEATED! They started hanging out again and I felt the only way that they would have there memories back was if they had them happened again.

Agreed, but I felt that the way she did it was kind of weird. They did not redo the memories in any meaningful way. Especially with the ring, it was like they were acting on these weird urges that they did not understand. I kind of felt like their romance at the end made no sense because all of the actions lacked purpose. They were weird, empty gestures that Sloane and James just kind of went with.

I think the re-make of the memories shouldn't have been done exactly as the memories were for in the beginning. I understand why they were (to show that even if they didn't remember what they had, they were meant to be and no matter how many times their memories were wiped they'll still find eachother and love eachother etc).

But instead of repeating the memories exactly as they'd happened in the first place, she could have used a different setting or way of making it happen.

Um actually no. I really thought that something was going to happen and all of their memories would come flooding back. But it didn't. And I was sad.
