Clockwork Prince
question
Is the advanced copy different?

My friend got an advanced copy of this book and it said "uncorrected proof." Is it any different from the one that was released to the public or are there some differences?

It just means that it hasn't had the final polishing before being mass printed, i.e. editing and that sort of stuff. Uncorrected proofs are the books that get passed around to make sure EVERYTHING is /perfect/ before it goes out for full print. :) There might be extra lines here and there that didn't make the final copy and etc. So long as you can get past typos, grammatical errors and some other issues, it's still a readable story.
