Becca sighed tiredly. "Oh how I would love to, but we have our lives here, and you have the company to run, and I have a motherly and sisterly protection over Rachel, Michael and Victor," she said sadly.

Becca just broke down crying. She finally stopped lying to herself and saw the truth.
John put a comforting arm around her and pulled Becca close.
"I really hate the world, you know? I'm so done trying to be positive," she said while crying into him, "life is such a terrible thing."
"Don't say that becca life isn't such a bad thing sure there's ups and downs but it's always worth it." John said.
She sat silently, hugging him. "Says the one who felt like he deserved to die before I met him," she jokes trying to lighten the mood, "I'm sorry, u shouldn't have said that."
"It's fine Becca." John said with a small smile towards her.
She smiled a little before climbing on top of him. She looked down at his face and played with his hair. "The year is halfway through now. Can you believe it?" She asked him.
"No I really can't mostly cause I lost track of the days." John replied with a smile.
"I don't think we even have to keep track of time. We'll keep on living on forever," she said as she intertwined her hand with his.
"true." John said smiling again with her
"John, be honest, do I honestly make you happy? Or do I tie you down, like everyone else says?" She asks him seriously.
"Of course you make me happy becca." John said in disbelief she would even ask.
"It's just that everyone that has been involved in your life doesn't approve of me. They think I am tying you down, instead of being something positive in your life. I'm afraid that if you're family was alive, they wouldn't accept me," she explained as she kissed his cheek lightly.
"My family loved basically everyone." He said chuckling.
"I'm serious, love. I'm just always afraid that I'm not good enough to be in your life," she said.
"Don't ever think that your not good enough." John said and kissed her.
She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. She deepened the kiss, not wanting to stop.
John smiled back and pulled her close.
She wrapped her legs around his torso and laughed lightly. She remembered why she had loved her husband, and felt foolish about worrying about what others said about her.
"Now remember what I said." He said chuckling.
"About what?" She asked him in between kisses.
"Feeling like your not enough."
"Oh, right," she said while giggling as she kissed his neck.
John looked at her. "Good to see your out of that mood."
She nodded in his neck and let herself breath. "I really hate everything you know," she said out of breath, "but I love you and Rachael so much." She then got off of him and stood up.
"Well you shouldn't hate everything." he said sighing.
"I know, but it seems like there isn't any hope," she said sadly. Becca shivered as she felt a chill run down her spine. "John, something big is going to happen, and I can feel it," she told him quietly.
"Is that so?" John said looking at her with slight nervousness like he knew what would happen.
"Yeah, but its not something bad, its something familiar," she said with a confused expression, "this scent, could only belong to m-""Hello, sister," Michael said behind her. He was a disheveled mess and his clothes all ripped up and stained with blood.
John turned and looked at her. "Michael?" John said skeptically
"I'm sorry, I don't believe we've met," he said politely, "I can't believe you're still alive! Thank goodness I found you well and alive!" Michael exclaimed as he hugged Becca. "I was captured and after some man killed Hex, all of the members fled into hiding. I was left in the horrible dungeons were I spent an entire year, mourning and worrying if you were still alive! Then I escaped, and came ti the safest place I knew and I found my lovely sister whom I am so ecstatic to have returned to me!"
"Good it is you." John said breathing a sigh of relief.
Michael gave Becca a who-is-this type of look. "Michael, this is John Jackal, my husband and the person who destroyed Hex," she introduced nervously. Michael tensed at the word, "husband." He took her arm and led her to the side where he could talk privately with her. "Husband?! What do you mean husband?! You're fifteen Rebecca! How could you do this to our family?" He whispered angrily."I'm sixteen, Michael, and you have no right to speak to your older sister in that tone! I love him and our lovely father said specifically in his will that before my sixteenth birthday, I had to get married, or we would lose the family fortune!" She whispered back.
"Don't mean to be rude but I can still hear you." John said and walked towards them. "Yes, Michael your father did say that I just hope you won't mind rachael." he said changing the conversation.
"Rachael?! Who is Rachael?!" He asked angrily. "Um... She's our daughter. Our adopted daughter," she said nervously. Michael just sat down trying to take it all in.
John put a hand on his shoulder. "Are you alright Michael?" John asked.
"Well I come back and find out that my sister is already married and a mother. That's a lot to take in," he answered.
"Understandable." He said looking down at him.
Becca hugged him and looked her brother in the eyes. "Its not as bad as you think," she whispered. Michael smiled at her and then turned to John. "Pleasure to meet you Mr. Jackal. I am forever in your debt," he said while bowing his head in perfect etiquette.
"The pleasures all mine." John replied bowing back with a small smile.
"Aww, my two favorite men getting alone," Becca gushed as she hugged both of them, "I think that you should go change, Michael. By the way, what house did you get into?" she asked him. "I'm a Gryffindor. Yep, the black sheep of the family," he said jokingly, "and yes I am going to get changed this instant!" He said as he walked out.
"Well that was a happy discovery." He said smiling and looking over at her.
"Amazing. I'm so glad he's alive," Becca said in disbelief, "he really must be a Gryffindor to escape that horrid dungeon."

"Same," she replied happily, "so now that our make out session is finished, where do you want to go?" She tried getting up but quickly fell back down. "Guess in still kinda weak," she said with a laugh.
