I'm sorry, I'm probably misunderstanding the Stats page here. On the page about the book it says it was first published in 1972, which is right, but when I list the books I've read by "Date First Published" it says 1991. Am I missing something?

The original publication date was incorrectly added as 1991. I changed it to 1970, as that was the date I found for this book.
