i'm so sad I'm missing some of these great books :)
Thank you Brianna for supplying these to us
and to all the authors for offering!
I know, Trisha! Don't they look so good?? I'm the same as you, sooo busy! I know I will end up buying the ones that I haven't already! ;)
This is what I found when I looked it up on Google:
What is a MOBI file?
Files that contain the .mobi file extension most commonly contain digital eBooks that have been saved in the Mobipocket binary eBook format.
The MOBI eBook file format supports standard HTML and it is one of the Open eBook Publication formats for eBook distribution.
MOBI files may contain DRM copyright protection features. DRM features prevent unauthorized users from viewing or copying an eBook that is contained in the MOBI file.
The MOBI file format is commonly used for eBooks that are distributed for use on smartphones, PDAs and the Amazon Kindle reading device or devices that support the Amazon Kindle software.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! :) It looks like you were able to get the reviews to work though! I pasted the link to your Goodreads review. I just clicked above your name in the thread on where it says how many stars you gave the series, then it took me right to your review!!

Do you have an Amazon account? If not, you can create a free account. If you do have an Amazon account, you can just sign-in to Amazon, then search for the book you want to leave a review for, then scroll toward the bottom of the page for that specific book, then click on the Writable a customer review button.
You don't have to buy anything on Amazon in order to have an account and then to leave reviews. :)

Hmm.. I guess I'm not sure then. Maybe you will need to "buy" a free book? I get tons of books for free when I search free kindle books. Do you have an eReader? If so, what kind?
I believe you are correct. When you sign-up for the Read to Reviews, please comment in the thread, then send a personal message to the authors and explain to them your situation. They are all very understanding, and they will usually still let you participate! Then ask them to send me a message stating if you are able to participate. Then I will be able to add you to the reviewer list. :)

1- is there a limit to how many r2r you can sign up for at once, I am a fast reader and tend to finish within a couple of days, but I don't want to be a "book hog" lol
2- when I post the links to my review am I just copying the url at the top of the webpage or is there another way?

1. Nope there is definitely not a limit on how many you can sign-up for! :)
2. Copying and pasting the URL is perfect!

because of time differences, could you post like 3 at a time and send everyone a PM with the books that are up and links. that way everyone has a shot

Can you explain a little more? :)"
My publisher doesn't send out actual ebook files for reviews, but they have uploaded the book to netGalley and made it 'invite only'. They have then provided me with a link - or rather a widget (oo-er) - to give to reviewers that takes them straight to the download page. If the reviewer is not already registered on netGalley, there is the option to sign up (it's free) and then the book can be either sent to kindle or downloaded. After a while, the book is archived, and the widget no longer works. Does that make sense, it looks rather a lot like mumbo-jumbo?

I think that should be fine. Would you want to still contact the reviewers using their email addresses?

It would probably be best as there's no way of monitoring who has access to the eGalley otherwise.

I wish I wasn't so behind on my books! LOL! I want to read them all :D
I know! There are so many new ones! I got a little behind on posting them, so now there are a TON! Hopefully I'll be caught up for a while then! :)

It will be sent to your email and then you will have to click on a button that says something like "Get your gift now" and it will take you to Amazon for you to get it.

It starts when you receive the book! :) So if you receive the book today and the timeline for posting your review is 3 weeks, you would have 3 weeks from today to post your review.

I just see that mentioned in a lot of reviews

It's a good idea to mention that. Full disclosure.
