Trisha lol! There are so many good ones but I'm so booked up over the next 2 weeks with my R2R. I can't wait to clear up my schedule and sign up for new ones.
i'm so sad I'm missing some of these great books :)

Thank you Brianna for supplying these to us
and to all the authors for offering!

message 5: by Trinity (new)

Trinity When you ask for a format for the read to review, what does mobi mean?

message 6: by Brianna♥, The Queen Bri (new)

Brianna♥ (briannaforrest) | 964 comments Mod
This is what I found when I looked it up on Google:

What is a MOBI file?
Files that contain the .mobi file extension most commonly contain digital eBooks that have been saved in the Mobipocket binary eBook format.

The MOBI eBook file format supports standard HTML and it is one of the Open eBook Publication formats for eBook distribution.

MOBI files may contain DRM copyright protection features. DRM features prevent unauthorized users from viewing or copying an eBook that is contained in the MOBI file.

The MOBI file format is commonly used for eBooks that are distributed for use on smartphones, PDAs and the Amazon Kindle reading device or devices that support the Amazon Kindle software.

Trinity Thank you so much Brianna! That made me understand it a lot better! :)

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner! :) It looks like you were able to get the reviews to work though! I pasted the link to your Goodreads review. I just clicked above your name in the thread on where it says how many stars you gave the series, then it took me right to your review!!

message 10: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 21 comments I want to read so many of the R2R's that want an Amazon review as well, is there a way to post a review on their site without buying anything? I don't shop Amazon usually...

Thanks!!
Nikki

Do you have an Amazon account? If not, you can create a free account. If you do have an Amazon account, you can just sign-in to Amazon, then search for the book you want to leave a review for, then scroll toward the bottom of the page for that specific book, then click on the Writable a customer review button.
You don't have to buy anything on Amazon in order to have an account and then to leave reviews. :)

message 12: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 21 comments I just tried that and it's telling me that I need to "use an Amazon account that has been successfully been charged for the purchase of a physical or digital item, but not necessarily what I'm trying to review" :-/ I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong

Hmm.. I guess I'm not sure then. Maybe you will need to "buy" a free book? I get tons of books for free when I search free kindle books. Do you have an eReader? If so, what kind?

message 14: by Nicole (new)

Nicole | 21 comments I have a Nook so I primarily use Barnes and Noble because I'm not sure amazon works with that

I believe you are correct. When you sign-up for the Read to Reviews, please comment in the thread, then send a personal message to the authors and explain to them your situation. They are all very understanding, and they will usually still let you participate! Then ask them to send me a message stating if you are able to participate. Then I will be able to add you to the reviewer list. :)

Kelli (kvshutt) | 81 comments I have two questions.
1- is there a limit to how many r2r you can sign up for at once, I am a fast reader and tend to finish within a couple of days, but I don't want to be a "book hog" lol

2- when I post the links to my review am I just copying the url at the top of the webpage or is there another way?

1. Nope there is definitely not a limit on how many you can sign-up for! :)

2. Copying and pasting the URL is perfect!

message 18: by Lade (new)

Lade (ladet) this isn't a question but a suggestion
because of time differences, could you post like 3 at a time and send everyone a PM with the books that are up and links. that way everyone has a shot

Aurelia Rowl (aureliabrowl) | 18 comments Is a netGalley invitation - which bypasses the usual publisher approval palarva - sufficient to sign up for R2R?

My publisher doesn't send out actual ebook files for reviews, but they have uploaded the book to netGalley and made it 'invite only'. They have then provided me with a link - or rather a widget (oo-er) - to give to reviewers that takes them straight to the download page. If the reviewer is not already registered on netGalley, there is the option to sign up (it's free) and then the book can be either sent to kindle or downloaded. After a while, the book is archived, and the widget no longer works. Does that make sense, it looks rather a lot like mumbo-jumbo?

I think that should be fine. Would you want to still contact the reviewers using their email addresses?

It would probably be best as there's no way of monitoring who has access to the eGalley otherwise.

message 25: by Trisha (new)

Trisha wow! so many great new R2R choices!
I wish I wasn't so behind on my books! LOL! I want to read them all :D

I know! There are so many new ones! I got a little behind on posting them, so now there are a TON! Hopefully I'll be caught up for a while then! :)

♥ Ericka ♥ | 12 comments When it says the book is going to be *gifted from amazon* does that mean I go on my account on amazon and get the book or will you send it to my actual email???

message 28: by Brianna♥, The Queen Bri (new)

Brianna♥ (briannaforrest) | 964 comments Mod
It will be sent to your email and then you will have to click on a button that says something like "Get your gift now" and it will take you to Amazon for you to get it.

message 29: by C. (new)

C. | 17 comments Does the timeline for the book to be read start from when you ask to review it or when the thread is posted?

message 30: by Brianna♥, The Queen Bri (new)

Brianna♥ (briannaforrest) | 964 comments Mod
It starts when you receive the book! :) So if you receive the book today and the timeline for posting your review is 3 weeks, you would have 3 weeks from today to post your review.

Rosa (rosaschlumpf) | 36 comments When writing my reviews is it required that I mention the book was in exchange for an honest review?
I just see that mentioned in a lot of reviews

It's a good idea to mention that. Full disclosure.

Yes, it's always good to mention that so you are completely honest. :) Thanks Stan!

message 35: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Lenderman | 38 comments Every time I post my link from goodreads to leave after I review a book it doesn't go straight to my review. It goes to my list of books instead. I must be doing it wrong. How does everyone else post their review??

message 36: by Terri (new)

Terri Markham (denovagirl) | 11 comments Question- say we do a R2R and the book is so bad we can not finish it. Do we make a review for a DNF or contact you to get taken off the list? I don't want it to affect me being able to R2R other books but some may just not work for someone.

message 37: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Oxford (sarahloxford) | 1260 comments I would say this is your choice. Sometimes a reviewer does let me know that they're not reviewing it as they couldn't finish it. Personally I don't leave a review if I didn't finish it but others do. I wouldn't stop you doing other r2r's in the group whichever way you choose to do it.

message 38: by Terri (new)

Terri Markham (denovagirl) | 11 comments Okay, thanks. I never leave DNF, bc I don't think it fair to leave a review for a book you didn't finish. Would you mind removing me from the list to R2R the book "Struggle"

Thanks for your help!
