"That's...that's ok." Artemis shook her head, pale curls rippling. "I just want to get this over with. Exams are coming up."
"Is school all you think about," Mel replied, "the ball is coming up."
((I will be back in. About 45 minutes))
A bright light shone from a ways down the corridor and they could hear footsteps approaching. All four raised their wands, ready for whoever may be following them.
"Is it--"
Gen gasped. "It's Cassie! Why is she following us?"

Artemis gave a small gasp as Cassie strode towards them.
"Oh, Cassie," she said in dismay. "This is dangerous!"
Fittingly, it was when she said this that the group finally noticed that they had come across a plantation of Venemous Tentacula.
Artemis took a quick step back as a plant leaned towards her.
"John!" she cried sharply. "Where is the antidote? We've got to hurry!"
"Oh, Cassie," she said in dismay. "This is dangerous!"
Fittingly, it was when she said this that the group finally noticed that they had come across a plantation of Venemous Tentacula.
Artemis took a quick step back as a plant leaned towards her.
"John!" she cried sharply. "Where is the antidote? We've got to hurry!"
"It's hidden I don't known." John said looking around.
"Diffindo!"
Cassie stunned a plant that was trying to sneak up on them and sighed.
"I've already told you, Artemis. I don't know exactly what's going on but I'm here to help my friends."
She raised her chin, daring her to argue.

"You don't KNOW?" Artemis said in horror. "You mean to say, John, you have dragged me, yourself, Lani, Gen AND Cassie down here where we're all in danger- and you don't even know WHERE it is?"
She cried out as a Venemous Tentacula snapped at her- she felt it's bite sting.
"I was never good at Herbology," she moaned. "But I'm assuming these are, in fact, venemous?" She turned to John.
"Where do we look?"

Cassie smiled weakly at her.
"First we have to get to the end of this tunnel. Didn't I hear you say the antidote was in the Forbidden Forest?"

"Artemis!" Cassie exclaimed, having observed her friend wince. "A bite from one of those can be fatal! How-I mean--are you alright?"

"Why," she said weakly, "does everything have to be fatal?" She shivered. "I'm fine...really. Let's just get this antidote fast. Does anyone know about the antidote at all?"

"I remember a riddle about it look beyond the trees of man and to the trees of white this is where you face a plight but you get the might." John said.
"I hate riddles," Cassie grumbled. "What does it mean?"
"I could guess if ya want I think it means look beyond normal trees and trees of white might me spider webs the plight could be spiders and the might is the antidote." John replied.
Artemis rolled her eyes. "You remember a riddle? Thanks for telling us now!" She Stunned the last plant and sat on the cold tunnel floor.
"Look beyond the trees of man...and to the trees of white. This is where you face a plight, but you get the might." She frowned. "So if we go past the 'trees of man' and find the 'trees of white', we'll face danger BUT get the might...the antidote."
She looked up at her friends grimly.

The bark sliced away, and a silvery-white solution dribbled out of a hole Artemis had cut into the tree. The antidote poured into the phial, until it had reached the rim. She fit the stopper into the phial.
"We did it," Artemis said in disbelief.

Melania stifled a laugh. 'I can't belive we are afraid of ticking off Slughorn. He is not as fast-minded as he used to be.' Mel thought to herself.
The professor collected half a dozen phials of venom, and started to make his way up the tunnel.
"Nothing like it," the group heard him say cheerfully. "Venemous Tentacula venom can kill in an hour!"
Artemis turned quite pale.

Mel tiptoed to Artemis, trying not to crunch the leaves with every step. "Breathe," Melania said to her, barely a whisper.
They turned to leave when, suddenly, a group of fire crabs emerged from behind a bush.
"Oh no," Artemis said sharply.

Artemis hurried up the tunnel, followed closely by the others. They were careful to dodge the fireballs the crabs shot.
"Stupefy!" she called, Stunning two of the crabs as they ran.

"Let me distract Slughorn for awhile it'll buy us some more time." John offered.
"No! Wait, we need a distraction." Melania's voice trembling. "I will go out, as soon as I break the spell, run." She disabled the spell and walked up to Slughorn, "Hello, sir. I can see you are collecting vials of venom. It is utterly facinating, could you tell me a little about it?" Mel said talking fast making a distraction, she led him the opposite direction they ran.
