I love coming of age supernatural stories. For some reason I have a hard time finding them. I have read IT. Fear. Boy's Life. Summer of night. The traveling Vampire Show. Something Wicked This Way Comes. Ghoul. I would appreciate any good suggestions.

Ronald Malfi's "December Park" and Peter Giglio's "When We Fall" are 2 good recent ones. You've read a lot of good ones already - Boys Life and It in particular are amazing. Not sure it really qualifies as coming of age, because the childhood scenes are all just flashbacks, but Greg Gifune's "The Bleeding Season" is also excellent.

The Day the Angels Fell by Shawn Smucker. It's a bit dark but I'm getting it for my 12 year old grandson.

I enjoy this type as well. I'm cutting and pasting from a different post, but these still apply...

The White Devil
The Other
Lost Boy Lost Girl
The Boy Who Drew Monsters
 Childhood's End
Childhood's EndIt isn't specifically horror, but it is a masterwork the "coming of age" story with supernatural elements.
Omg, The Tooth Fairy by Graham Joyce. It was amazing. I put off reading it for a long time because the title is kinda lame, but it was one of the best.

The Tooth Fairy is an amazing book. I love all of Graham Joyce's books. If you haven't already, you need to read Year of the Ladybird. It's even better than The Tooth Fairy. It was released in the US under the title- The Ghost in the Electric Blue suit. Amazing coming of age tale

Dark Sister by Graham Joyce is also amazing. But it's not a coming of age story.

Am I allowed to post my own book here? I wrote a supernatural ghost story/coming-of-age novella I'd love to share.
