She was slowly backing up when she saw his eyes starting to open. She immediately ducked behind a strawberry bush, hoping that he wouldn't see her and would think that she'd left.

"I don't want you to not have friends. I never am able to have a friend without them getting killed... I don't want you to have a life like mine...." He said sadly.
"Well, you just said that every friend you have, dies. So if I'm your friend, I'll die. So, I'd rather not be your friend, all things considered."
"Not what I meant. I mean you should be more social with people and not have your face barried in a book." He said as his voice reached yelling.
"You said your friends were mad at you! How long has it been sense you talked to them huh?" He yelled as he folded his arms staring down at her.
"EXCUSE ME?" She said, a year running down her face. "You don't know what a true friend is, if you think they weren't my true friends."
He saw the tear. "I've never had a friend so I don't know what it's like. I'm sorry if I upset you okay?" He said calming down.
"Nothing..." He said. "I'll just go." He starts to walk away thinking on trying to make friends with someone else.
"Alright." She shrugged and started walking in the opposite direction. She should probably go talk to Wes... Or Erika...
He had a tear rolling down his face. He looked back at her. He just wished it hadn't gotten off like this.
She noticed a tear run down his face, and almost stopped, but continued walking. She couldn't help everyone. She couldn't even help herself...
He then ran into a tree to shadow travel. For some reason he just ran into it. He was to overwhelmed with sadness.
She watched him run into a tree, and rolled her eyes. She continued walkig, unsure if she was headed to the Apollo cabin or the Artemks one.
Then he got himself together and shadow traveled to the Underworld. Hades was right. Never trust other demigods.
She knelt, so not to appear as a threat. "Hey, it's okay. Promise." she held out a strawberry. "Shhh..."
She scooted him onto her lap and stroked his leathery wings, offering him another strawberry. "It's okay. Do you have a name? S-Scales. How's that sound. Good Scales."
