"I don't know, okay? I don't know if I can keep a secret, although I probably can, because no one at this stupid camp bothers to care what I talk about. And neither should you."
He put his hand on her shoulder. "How will you make friends if you won't talk then?" He asked soothingly.
"I have friends. They just won't talk to me. And I don't need them. I have books," she said unconsciously patting her bag.
"Because I won't tell anyone. I swear upon the River Styx I won't tell anyone." He said as the pain of the promise fell on his shoulders.
"I don't like talking about myself." She said quietly. "Especially to people who I just met 5 minutes ago."
She looked at him, then shook her head and walked away. She really needed to find Wes... Before she locked herself on her cabin, she should find him...
After she was out of sight he ran towards a shadow and shadow traveled and ended up in a trees shadow that was in front of her.
She walked along the edge of the strawberry fields, thinking that maybe she should try and find Erika before she had to leave... If Wes wouldn't talk to her, maybe she should...
"I think I have I right not to tell you if I don't want to..." She said, looking for a way to escape.
"But I don't want to! I've only ever told one person, and I was on pain medication, so I wasn't thinking straight."
"That's what everyone thinks of Hades' kids, stalkers, creepers, weirdoes,....." He said with a sad tone.
"Well when you follow people around demanding that they tell you everything about themselves, yeah! I guess they will!" She said with a heat that was unnatural for her.
"What I'm doing is unnatural to me. I don't like to stalk people. But I only do it when I really, really, really want an answer."
"Well you really really really aren't going to get one!" She said, and sat down on the ground, pulling a book out of her bag.
It was almost 3 hours later when the horn for dinner was blown. He looked at the girl waiting for her to walk to the dining pavilion.
((Okay)) She glanced warily at his sleeping form, remembering the last time he'd fallen asleep. She quietly stood up and out her book back in her bag.
She carefully edged away, careful not to make any noise. If she could get away... He wouldn't be able to find her, because he wouldn't know where she was.
