Eileen moved out from behind the cluster of trees. "Well I'm glad I've finally met someone with super bat hearing." She snapped quietly.

((Do you want to have them end up together? Or just friends?))

"It's a tracker thing." Nick said cutting off another strawberry with his throwing knife. "Plus the red hair doesn't exactly blend in with anything but these strawberries." He added
((Ok go with the flow then :) ))
Eileen rolled her eyes. "Mhmm." She said and took out her knife, and began gathering strawberries into her basket.

Nick almost laughed from the sight of this girl picking strawberries into a basket but restrained himself. "My names Nick by the way." He said trying to keep a conversation, not cause she was pretty or anything but, you know, cause...
((What's his profile? I couldn't find it.))
Eileen sighed. "Li." She replied, looking over at him.
Eileen sighed. "Li." She replied, looking over at him.
((Ok continue later! Bye!!))
Eileen sighed. "Li." She replied, looking over at him.

((Do you happen to know where her profile is?))
Eileen sighed. "Yes, Li." She said.
((It's on Character Creation from 5 days ago... I'm using the app so I can't give you a link.))

((Crap sent too early hold on))
"Yes, Li." She said. Then she looked at Nick for a moment before saying "Eileen actually. But people call me Li."
"Li." She replied immediately, then turned to pick more berries. She popped one strawberry into her mouth before continuing to pick more.

Eileen glared at him as he called her by her real name but then shrugged. "Wanted to see if I could be a good hunter." She lied with the first thing that came to her mind.

Eileen couldn't help but smile a little, despite their quarreling. "Obviously."

"It's for my cabin mates." She said honestly this time. "I can't stand being in the Hermes cabin for too long. Too many people." She smirked. "So I do all the errands now. And to be honest, I was hoping that no one would be here at night. So when I saw you I was trying to sneak away."

"Gee, thanks." She said and laughed.
An actual laugh.
That was weird.
An actual laugh.
That was weird.

"Hmm?" Eileen looked over at him, snatching the knife out of the air and smirking as she twirled it in between her fingers. "Don't know what?"

Eileen gave him a confused look. "You alright there?" She asked.

She didn't believe him at all. But she didn't show it. "Ok." She tossed the knife back to him and picked up her basket. "Guess I should get these back to the cabin. See ya." She said and with that, she turned and walked away.
((Want to have him come to the Hermes cabin or something?))
((Want to have him come to the Hermes cabin or something?))

It was red.
Plump.
And...
She sighed, putting her head in her hands.
Distraction wasn't helping.
She still felt confused, homesick, and afraid.

Her black hair and "squinted" eyes set her apart from most of the other demigods.
"Hi" she said in a soft voice, blinking back the tears she'd almost let out.
I'm a freak. I grew a fish tail and that THING took me away. I didn't even really get to say goodbye

Again, she felt self conscious.
An ordinary American last name on an obviously Asian person.
Stop thinking like that! You're fine. Not...weird. Not like those kids said

Was it that obvious?
Apparently it was.
"I...."
She didn't know what to say.
This was someone she'd literally just met.
Could she really tell him something that he probably didn't even care to know?

He...felt it.
Strange.
But nothing seemed to be normal here.
"I just got here. Like, an hour ago. I grew a fish tail and...."
How could he even believe her?!
Seriously...a fish tail?
She wouldn't have believed it either unless she'd seen it...felt it grow on her...

Mali plucked at the homemade bracelet on her left hand.
She only knew a little about the minor god.
Her...father.
And what she did know was confusing; she hadn't believed anything her mother had told her, hand't listened.
So now she knew practically nothing.
Claire walked in the fields with her dark blue sneakers and baby blue short pants with CHB shirt. The smell of strawberry mixed with morning air felt so good.
Claire wonder if it's okay to grab some strawberries. She looked over and saw a girl sitting on the grass with hands full of them. She decided to walked to her direction.
"Wow, they're big." she said
