Kass nodded. “Beautiful sky. It actually matches my eyes, see?” she looked at him, showing him her bright blue eyes, exactly the color of the sky.

He looked at her eyes, then nodded. “Yeah, it does. It matches my eyes too. I mean, mine are bit lighter (or darker. I forgot) than the sky, but it’s similar.”

Kass looked at them. “That’s nice. We’re twins!” she said, then laughed. She adjusted her necklace. “My golden hair is the same color as Liam’s, funnily enough. I like it, too, and when it’s in sunlight, it LOOKS like sunlight.” she chuckled, looking down at her hands.

He chuckles and nods. Luke reached forward and picked up the charm of her necklace. “That’s pretty.” He says, dropping it and looking at her hair

Kass smiled. “Thanks. Got it from my dad, my stepdad, a few years ago.” Her eyes locked on his hand on her necklace, so close, but then he let go, and she blinked, then touched her necklace again. She bit her lip, trying not to do anything rash, like blush.

“That’s cool. I never got anything from my parents.” Lucas says, looking down at his hands. He looked back up at her. “You ok?”

Kass nodded, smiling slightly. “Mm-hmm. And I’m sorry. I was always with my mom, Harmonia, and my stepdad. My dad and Liam visited sometimes, but I was just stuck in the freaking Underworld. Well, whatever. At least now I’m in the real world!”

“Why were you in the Underworld in the first place?” He asked, curious. “Actually, you don’t have to answer that. It’s probably personal.” Lucas says quickly

Kass smiled. “I’d love to meet her. She isn’t a demigod, but she still comes to the camp? That’s cool.”

He nods. “Yeah, she’s completely mortal. She’s one of the special ones that can see through the mist and everything. Chiron made an exception for her to come to the camp.”

Kass raised her eyebrows, impressed. “That’s cool.” Her blue eyes finally met his. They stayed there.

((i gtg for the day/night bye!))

He drew his eyes away, looking up at the sky. “I’m glad it’s a nice day out. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to come here.” Lucas says, smiling a bit. He watched the clouds move around the bright blue sky
