CC and Stratosphere landed in a cloud of dust, Strato's solid gold wing feathers and hooves glinting in the sun. CC had long since dried off.
((you tried so hard to be slick XDD))
((No, I just recently learned how to put images and I’m taking advantage of it.))
Vortex’s hooves padded on the ground as they came to a stop at the fields. Edahline turned her body to face CC as she dismounted. “I think I’d call that a tie.”
"Fine." CC sighed, combing her fingers through Strato's mane.
She laughed at the other girls reaction as she started to look around the field. “Will Vortex stay here if I start to look around?” She didn't want to be responsible for losing a Pegasus.
"She'll probably eat the strawberries and get both of us in trouble." CC managed to say with a straight face. "But yeah, she will. She's not as bad as Houdini here." the daughter of Aphrodite shot a look at the white pegasus.
“Should we confine them?” Edahline was not sure what one was supposed to do with a Pegasus if they were not currently supervising them. She had only ever had experience with about 2 dogs and a cat.
Stratosphere let out an indignant neigh. Vortex snorted in agreement. "No. they'll come back when we call them," CC said. "if not, I can go get a Poseidon kid or naiad."
“Okay.” She smiled and turned to the animal behind her petting her nose. “That’s good. I didn’t want to have to confine you anyways.”
Vortex tossed her mane, appreciating the attention.
Edie stopped petting the creature to turn to CC. “Where should we start?” She wanted to see as much of the fields as she could.
"Hmm..." CC said thoughtfully. "Well, let's start with the achenes, the tiny wild strawberries."
Alexandria ran through the rows of strawberries, panting. Her hair whipped her face. "Mom," she muttered. "Mom, stop haunting me. Stop!" ((her mom died when she was young))
((Amethyst and I are roleplaying here, but it would be cool if we all roleplayed together!))
"Huh? Yeah, I'm okay," she says, turning pink with embarrassment.
Alexandria turned even pinker. "Practicing for my footrace," she muttered. "I've seen you around- you're Callista, right? Which cabin are you in?"
"I'm the daughter of Apollo," she replied, glad of the change of subject. She brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "We fought on the same sides in the Trojan War. What brings you here?"
"Alexandria," she said. "Alexandria Taylor. It's nice to meet you, Callista! "Bug you?" she asked. Then, remembering that she didn't want to be pried for information herself, she backed off.
"Where are you from?"
Daenerys was wandering around because she was bored.
((@Halen))CC patted Strato's nose. "You coming?" She asked Edahline.
((I think me and bookishwyrm were here first, because we got here after Sav, then everyone else showed up. ))

“Yes. Absolutely.” She had a skip in her step as she caught up to CC girl, then slowed to match her pace.
"Alright, so the achenes are tiny and very bittersweet," CC explained, handing one to Edahline.
“Should I eat it?” She asked scrunching her nose at the berry.
"Go ahead! the only fertilizers and pesticides used are Demeter and Dionysus powers." CC popped two into her mouth.
“Okay..” she put it in her mouth and chewed slowly..
“It’s not bad yea.” Edahline nodded her head and spoke after swallowing what had been in her mouth.
"Next, that Chandler strawberries! They're the biggest ones you'll find out here." CC explained, leading Edahline to a different patch.

"New York!" Alexandria smiles. "My aunt was from New York."

((Yeah, that's true. Amyethyst and I could walk somewhere else, too...I guess lots of people like the strawberry fields XD XD)

((Okay))Edahline had been following the other girl, CC, down a dirt path. She had been so busy staring at the fruits that she had forgotten to watch where she had been going and managed to trip, rolling her ankle. Loudly she swore and bent down to grab her ankle in pain.
"Oh! Are you okay?" CC asked, running back over. She whistled, and Strato and Vortex trotted over.
“Yeah.” She mumbled through clenched teeth. She tried to stand on the leg and pulled it back up again, sucking in a breath at the pain. “I just healed this ankle,” she laughed annoyedly.
"C'mon, we'll get you to the infirmary." CC sighed, waving Vortex over.
She groaned to herself as she waited for the Pegasus to trot over. “Sorry to ruin the fun like this?” She rolled her eyes at her ankle.
"Nah, this is still plenty fun. We can make up a cool story for the doctor about how you rolled your ankle!" CC helped her onto the pegasus, then hopped up onto Strato.
