-------- Calvin was walking through the Strawberry fields, his lips curled up in a mischievous grin that cause adults to always assume he was up to something. Now, to be fair, he was normally up to something, but that was beside the point. He looked around, trying to think of the best place to hide his little contraption so that the Dionysus campers would find it later.
Sakurai came here immediately when he found out his crush was coming here. “Okay okay sakurai just keep your cool dude you’ve liked this guy since forever he can’t be that teasing” he thought to himself. He then found him staring at the boy “h-hey calvin” he said smiling
(wait wait hes already into cal?)

Cal looked up frightened "Nothing! Ash did it!" he exclaimed, then noticed it was Sakurai. "Oh, hey man." he said, stuffing the thing into his pocket. "What's going on?"
“Hey cal n-nothings going on so what are you doing?” He asked as he was really used to Calvin doing this “whatever it is can I help you out?” He asked shyly
Cal laughed "Oh, Saku, you don't wanna be involved in this." he said, conspiratorially. He shrugged and ran a hand through his (blonde?) hair, which caused his Camp Half-Blood T-Shirt to lift up slightly, showing his skinny form. He appeared malnourished, but it was just his Hermes genes.
He blushed slightly when his shirt lifted up, covering his face a bit ‘damn it’ he thought and sighed “trust me if it’s with you I wanna be involved”
Cal raised his eyebrow slightly "Do I detect a flirt?" he asked, teasingly. Calvin honestly had no clue whether or not Saku liked him but he still teased him. "I'm surprised you could stop stuttering long enough."
He blushed more “god damn it” he sighed out loud and started to stutter “m-maybe maybe not” he stared at cal a bit
Cal cocked an eyebrow "Oh yeah?" he asked "'Maybe?' what do you mean 'Maybe'?" he asked squinting. He still was picking up zero clues from Saku whatsoever
“Y-you know what Nevermind” he sighs a bit and looked at cal “s-so what now?” He asked still staring at cal, his eyes slowly drifting lower
Cal snapped at him "Hey, my eyes are up here, buddy" he joked. He then laughed "Anyway. What I did was build this gagdet. All the strawberries with turn to apples when picked."
“O-oh sorry about that” he rubbed the back of his neck and giggled “that’s cool so anyone specific your gonna use it on?”
"Well. I'm gonna plant it in the field, and everyone is gonna end up with apples." he told the boy in front of him "It's meant for everyone."
“Oh my god” he laughed a bit “so would you wanna just hang out later?” He asked softly and stared at his chest
Calvin shrugged "Maybe." he said "Ash might tag along, though. I had planned to hang out with them today."
“Oh okay then well I wouldn’t mind sooooooo can you help me with confessing to my crush?” He asked blushing
Cal shrugged "I mean sure, but just so you know, no one I know i interested. So, unless it's someone I don't know then... I can't help."
“Well you should know yourself the most” he blushed more and kept looking at the ground, embarrassed
Cal spluttered "What!?" he asked, surprised "You didn't just say what I think you said." he exclaimed, blushing
“Y-yep I did” he said fiddling with his fingers and staring at him “s-so ummmm what do you say?”
Calvin sighed, running his hand through his hair "Look, man, you know I just got out of a relationship." He told his friend. "I can't just jump back in." The truth was, he had never really seen Saku that way before. He couldn't imagine it
“Oh... it’s fine” he said sighing and walking away slowly, staying silent “sorry for that...” he said running to his cabin
"You, bro what the Hades?" he asked, grabbing him by the arm before he left "Where in Zeus' name are you going, brochacho?" Calvin asked "We still gotta plant this device."
“Oh forgot” he said nervously chuckling “alright let’s plant it” he said still embarrassed
Calvin nodded, already acting as if the conversation had never happened. "Come help me move some of the plants out of the way."
“Okay” he said shyly and started to move some of the plants out of the way, eventually removing a huge patch
