A few minutes later, Rowan followed after Aurora and fell asleep with her resting in his arms.
((I really liked this scene :3))
(( same ))She saw the same dream again. It must have some significance.
Instead of having dreams of quests or how warm Aurora's smile made him feel, Rowan had a quick, dreamless sleep.
Everything went black. She hated the dark. No one knew this except for her brother.
A few hours later, Rowan's eyelids fluttered open and closed. When he finally, actually, woke up, it was late in the afternoon.He glanced down at Aurora and felt a small smile tug at the corners of his mouth. He stayed still, patiently waiting for Aurora to wake up.
She whimpered. Everything was dark. No one was around. She hated this ! This was worse that closed spaces !
"Aurora?" He whispered while looking down at her worriedly.
He hesitated before gently shaking Aurora's shoulders."Hello.... Aurora?"
"What's up?" He asked worriedly.
" Just a nightmare " she mumbled, looking at the ground.
"Seems like more than just a nightmare." He replied levelly.
" It's just a nightmare. Something I'm scared of "
"You're scared of something?!" He smirked down at her teasingly.
" Shut up " she said in a small voice
"I was just teasing." He murmured softly, resting his chin on her shoulder."Are you sure you okay? Be truthful, or else I might just break up with you." He had to stop himself from grinning.
((Alright, I'm going to bed, like usual, I'll be on in 4 - 5 , maybe 6, more hours))
" I'm not okay. " She murmured " I'm scared of the dark, Rowan "
Rowan stared sympathetically at Aurora, re-wrapping his arms around her supportively."That just makes you like everyone else here, except you have me. And I honestly think I overrule your fear of the dark." He smirked. "Unless, of course, I don't."
((Yeah..... I didn't know what to do, I'm gonna try and get a full night's sleep tonight))
She leaned on to him. " I don't know if you do or not but it isn't that bad, " She gave him a quick kiss " knowing that you're there to support me "
"Yeah, of course. Always." Rowan grinned stupidly as felt his face turn red.
" Idiot " she muttered, but she was smiling.
"I am not an idiot." He chuckled and rested his forehead against Aurora's head.
" You sure look like one " she joked.
"Hey, come on, that isn't fair." He laughed.
"No, it isn't." He rolled his eyes playfully.
She stuck her tongue out at him.
Rowan laughed and kissed her cheek.
She smiled and looked out at the strawberry fields.
Rowan smiled back rest his chin on her head.
She sighed, " I can't stop thinking about the dream...... "
((oof, sorry about disappearing))"What has you so worried about it?"
"What do you mean, 'you don't know'? You have to be worried about something." Rowan replied quietly, his voice level.
" I feel like there is something I should be considering about the dream " she shrugged
"Well, the dream is clearly stressing you out. Maybe you should take a break, do something to get your mind off of it. Then come back to it later." He suggested.
