Strawberry Fields
'What would happen if I picked some strawberries to eat for myself?' Hansa mused as she wandered through the field. It was strange. For the past few days she had been unable to sleep during the nights, but in the day she struggled to keep her eyes open.
She always found that blueberries and chocolate gave her energy, but she'd run out of both.
That was what lead her to the strawberry field, and now she realised that she didn't even know if the berries were for sale only or not.

He was small compared to his siblings so he never really thought of himself as strong. He was brought back from his thoughts when Jesse spoke again. "Ah yes very impressive. Although i have been told im quite light. So who knows?" He shrugged with a laugh.

"Not to be admitting any of my own faults, because I clearly don't have any, but the combination of my twig arms and the fact that I have the upper body strength of a fly with no desire to lift weights, I'd say it's probably safe to assume you're stronger than me," Jesse concluded, trying not to show how uncomfortable he was. He didn't enjoy talking about his flaws but wanted to show Grant that he was trying to be open with him.

Grant shrugged again. "Faults? I dont consider not being strong a fault. So many campers here prioritize being strong like its a personality trait." He looked away from him and out at the field. "I think being strong is over rated." He bent his knees up and rested his arms across his legs before resting his chin there as well.
Jesse shrugged. "It's kinda helpful though, I'd imagine. We do literally train and battle every day", he pointed out. "But what I may lack in strength, I certainly make up for in charisma", he added, jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.
"Yeah but so are things like making weapons or medicine." He was glad for his jokes. "Not gonna lie I skip a lot of my training. Chiron is kinda up my butt about it." He couldnt help but laugh though. "Its just so boring and i really dont feel like getting beat up by a bunch of Ares or Athena kids."
He wanted to nudge it, but didn't. "Okay.."
He looked at it. "Wow..." he breathes
He stares at the area on her hand where the fire was. "Does it...hurt?"
He nodded. "Cool...." he said, looking down
"No!" He said, looking up. "Of course not."

"That's true," Jesse agreed, not having thought of the other jobs that came with the half-blood status. He laughed at Grant's comment. "Honestly, I don't blame you. Usually, I go just because I'm the only one in my cabin, so I can just join whichever cabin I like. Meaning I never join the Athena or Ares kids," he said, laughing. "Perks of not having any siblings I guess".

Sam smiled back and picked another starwberry.
Sam leaned back, liking whenever she sung, or hummed
He blushed and looked down. "You have a good voice."
He looked up, embarrassed. "Uh. Ya...."
He smiled again, watching her sing
He laughed and picked his own strawberry
He didn't move, he just stared ar Gem.
He looked down, a faint smile on his lips
Sam layed next to her, smiling
Sam smiled back, looking into her eyes
His smile widened, not knowing if she knew that her eyes could sparkle so beautifully
"Your eyes are very pretty." He said. "Especially when they sparkle."
"They sparkle in the sun." He said.

"Do you stay with the Hermes kids or do you have your own cabin?" As much as Grant would love a cabin to himself, it would get super lonely. If he did have his own cabin maybe Grant could make him something to help it feel more homey.

Jesse shrugged, picking at the grass nearby. "When I first got to camp, I had a sister, but I'd only been here for a few weeks when she left. We weren't close, obviously, because we hadn't known each other long, but I don't know where she went," he explained. "I have my own cabin, but I don't spend much time there," he added.

Grant frowned at his story. "That really sucks, sorry to hear that. I guess all the gods but yours are busy making babies." He tried to lighten the subject a little bit. "Okay this is kind of random but what is your favorite animal?" Not only was he an expert at making weapons, he was a little artsy too.
Jesse thought for a moment before replying. "I'd probably have to say either an octopus or a lion," he said, turning to face Grant. "An octopus is just really cool and lions are, well, they're lions," he explained. "Why? What's yours?" he then asked.
"Because not only am i an amazing space heater but i can also make these little animal things put of wire." Grant was really proud of himself everytime he made one. He was glad he could do something that wasn't weapons related. "Oh mine would have to be..." He had to think about it for a moment. "It would have to be a sloth. They are super cute."
"Really? Can I see one?" Jesse asked, impressed. Grant was clearly proud of them based on how fondly he was talking about them, and Jesse felt like he should support them if they meant a lot to Grant. "A sloth? That's adorable," he replied, grinning.
Grant was happy that he wanted to see one. "We can stop by my cabin on the way to Zeus fist if ypi want?" He had a few with his stuff in his cabin and a couple he hadnt finished yet back in the forge. He blushed at his words. "My mom use to tell me that a sloth was my spirit animal. Not so much anymore since i seem to be always moving and forging."
Jesse nodded at Grant's suggestion of stopping past his cabin. "I don't know if I've ever been to the Hephaestus cabin, to be honest," he said, thinking out loud. He'd heard through the grapevine that it was really impressive though, and he was kind of excited. He chuckled slightly at Grant's story about his mom. "That's so cute," he said, smiling. He tried not to think about his relationship with his mom, or rather, lack of.
"Really? Its kinda cool. At least i think so. The walls on the inside are all metal. We've got tons of machinery. Are bunks are kinda like folded against the wall and are controlled by these control panels. We actually have a second floor with a winding stair case and one of those firefighter poles." Grants hands moved around as he tried to explain the inside of the Hephaestus cabin. Eventually he stopped when he realized he was beginning to ramble. "It will make more sense when you see it." ((Out of curiosity i googled what the inside of the cabin looked like and for some reason i just keep imaging all the cabins to just look like regular camp cabins even though i know they arent lol))
Jesse smiled as Grant rambled about the layout of his cabin. It was kinda cute. "Wait, you have a second floor? That's so unfair! I mean, not that I would need one, having my own cabin and all, but still. The concept seems awfully unequal," he complained, not really meaning it. "Now I'm even more excited to see it".
((Haha the only ones that I sorta? know the layout of are the Poseidon and Hephaestus cabins just bc Leo and Percy describe them so much lol I just imagine all the others looking the same ngl))
