"Alrighty then Tia," Andrew said with a smile. "You're welcome to join us on the official Camp tour led officially by the official Andrew Williams." He joked. "But just be warned. There may be some annoying little brothers encountered on this trip. Don't let their cuteness fool you. They're really evil little things. Welp, off we go!" Andrew started off, hoping the others would follow.
(Herc looked at Andrews back and started to follow when he turned around, doing something that stunned even him)"Hey, Mary, do you wanna go to the Creek later after the tour?"
"You do realize that I've been here almost a month?" Tia said, sounding amused as she fell into step beside Andrew. "I had a younger siblings, and she was an angel." she admitted, digging her nails hard into her palm to A) not start bawling like a baby in front of people. Again. And B) not give away too much. If she told them she'd have to trust them and trust led to friendship and it wouldn't end well for them.
Mary was kind of surprised when Herc invited her. "Um, sure," she stuttered, following the group. She bit her lower lip. What was happening suddenly?
"I am grateful that I have my brother. In a way." Andrew looked at the girl who had fallen into step beside him. "I mean, he's always there for me when I need him. He's the only person I have...left." For some reason he felt like he could trust this girl. But he knew, could tell, that she didn't feel the same. I have to gain her trust, he thought to himself. But how...
(Herc fell into step beside Andrew, seeing a look in Andrews eyes that he himself wore when he thought of his past...)"Hey Andrew, remember that time that you saved your brother from drowning in the creek?"
(Ok, no that hadn't happened, but it was worth a try to help out a friend...)
"Yeah, and remember that time that you fought a dragon to save a pretty girl?" Andrew said sarcastically. He silently thanked Herc for cheering him up. The guy always knew what to do.
(Herc laughed nervously, still thinking of Mary...)"Me? Save a pretty girl? Nah.."
("Your welcome bro, you owe me big time" he said using the kind of telepathic link that they had together.)
Tia looked over at Andrew with a small, rueful smile. "Nah. Look around you-- seems like both those people are your friends. You have more than just him." she said simply with surprising wisdom. "Everyone always does." Almost she added silently, remembering how her world had shattered with the loss of one little angel, then grew to three. She tried to shove the thought down, biting the inside of her lip so hard it drew blood in an effort to not cry.
(Herc nudged Andrew in the ribs and whispered in a voice only he and Andrew could hear,)"Dude...she's about to cry...comfort her!"
"Whoa, but your lip a little too hard, Tia. Are you alright?" He asked, taking the gentle tone he sometimes used with his younger brother Adam. "Your right, though. I guess I'm not alone. I have Adam, and those two, and now, I have you. We are friends right? You seem pretty approachable, I mean, you never look like your going to maul somebody, so that's a positive." He was trying to cheer Tia up. She looked like she was the one who felt alone. She had told him that she had been here a month, but she was holding back. She looked like she was about to cry, so he started to put his arm around her.
Mary felt a sharp jab of jealousy in her gut but didn't know why. She couldn't feel jealous.... could she?
(((PSSSTTTTTT, Supernatural/PJO...))
(Herc thought he saw a look of jealousy in Marys eyes and wondered if Mary had feelings for Andrew, or if he was just paranoid...)
Tia closed her eyes for a long moment, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. She opened her eyes and looked up at Andrew, and she found she couldn't force the fake smile up. Oh, she wasn't about to go all sob-story on them, but she just couldn't pretend to be just all good anymore. "I'm not quite alright, but I've been worse." She shrugged. "And I've only tried to maul a certain group of people in my life. And I promise you they deserved it. People just assume I'll, like, tear their face off or something because all of moms other kids are monsters. Nyx, by the way. Oh, and friends are good!" Even babbling- what she always did when nervous and changing the subject- she evaded answering if they were friends or not. But since she didn't move away from his arm- simply jumped in surprise, then stilled, slightly tense- her response was already kind of obvious.
Andrew kept his arm around Tia. It wasn't awkward, the way he expected it to be. It just, was. He looked around at all of his friends and sighed. He was lucky. "Don't worry." He said to Tia. "It'll get better. It got better for me, it'll get better for you. Apollo, by the way, I don't think I told you that before."
Tia looked over at him, mind whirring. "Alright. I'm willing to try and help make it better myself for once, but you have to help me." she requested. "Any time I seem sad, distract me. However you have to. Water balloon, push me in the mud, whatever. Just don't let me be sad." she asked pleadingly, her footsteps slowing as she looked at him hopefully.
"Sure, sounds like a great idea." Andrew loved the climbing wall. He was, as everyone else put it, a natural. "So, is everyone cool with the climbing wall?" He asked.
"Of course." He turned to Tia. "Anything for a friend. He knew he really liked Tia. He just wasn't sure if it was the way a friend liked a friend or...something else...
(Herc thought he saw the same look in his best friends eyes that he himself got whenever he looked at Mary.)"Dude, you owe me big time"
(He whispered it into Andrews ear.)
((I sense a love triangle coming on.))Mary was still walking as she opened her book and found a certain song. The lyrics flew around in her mind and she hummed the tune. Although she tried to distract herself all she could think about was Andrew.
"I'm a little too short to be very good at the climbing wall, but it's fun." Tia smiled slightly, glancing down at her petite form, which barely cleared five feet. "Besides, maybe I'll get better with practice." she shrugged.
((Same here))Andrew took his arm from around Tia and got his book out. Mindlessly, he started doodling. When he looked down, this is what he saw:
Tia Mary
Mary Tia
Tia Mary
He quickly closed the book, not knowing where that came from or why he wrote it. He liked both of the girls, but just as friends. Right?
((I want it known that Tia is innocent in this love triangle xD she doesn't really quite know about that stuff lol))
"Sure thing Tia! I'll help you. As they say, I'm an expert. The sarcasm in his voice was very clear. He hoped that no one had noticed the doodling that had happened in his notebook. That would have been embarrassing. "So guys," he started. "To the climbing wall?"
((So do I))(Herc saw Mary and somehow knew he just knew...that it would never last between him and her.)
"Im just gonna..."
(And with that, he ran off in the direction of the woods.)
"Herc!" Andrew yelled, worried that his best friend had been hurt. "I'm gonna follow him. You guys can come with me or—" and with that he ran off chasing his best friend.
((She'd back off if anything got heated or jealous at all to the point where she realized it. Back off, as in not hang out with them at all anymore (since she wouldn't really do anything even before triangle-ness lol)))
Andrew ran back to the girls. "I," be took a breath. "I couldn't find him. I'm gonna go back to his cabin. I'll see you guys around."((I'm going to bed))
((P.S. Do either if you have an Instagram?))
Amber walks slowly through the fields. Her camp tee shirt and blue jeans was simple yet made her feel great. Amber's eyes goes from Strawberry to Strawberry with excitement.
Amber stopped as the stranger spoke. "Amber." Her voice was deep with a southern accent. She tilted her head, "Yourself?" Amber's face hardened as she waited for an answer.

"What? Oh, uh..."
(Herc looked into Mary's eyes, looking for any sign of feeling in them)
"Sure."
