Adrienne stood as well, grabbing another strawberry as she did. "To be honest, I think I've only trained here once or twice."
People. So many people. So many chances- and so many risks. Triana was, as usual these days, near tears as she fled the main compound. There was usually not many around here, and Tia wasn't really up to being around other people. Not that she ever was now. She had just gotten here, and suddenly she had all these people surrounding her. And siblings! Even half-siblings were too much for her now, and forever. She was terrified of failing them, just as she had failed her other sibling. She had to run out here, she had to stay away from the others. She couldn't risk their lives. It was better this way, she knew it.
Tia knew that it would end up with pain for everyone if she allowed herself to get close to anyone. So she was basically hiding out here. She sat in the corner of the field, her legs crossed and head bowed, light blonde hair falling like a curtain.
((Lol ok...))Alexandra walks onto the field and begins picking some strawberries and placing them in a bucket...
Tia flinched as she heard the peals of laughter, her head jerking up. She rose to her feet and started slowly stepping back and away from the happiness that, long ago, would have been her own. She had come here to get away from people, and suddenly she felt surrounded by them as she whirled around to see the other girl. The blonde Nyx descendant had gone pale, and she started retreating from the others.
Alexandra hardly noticed anyone as she had her earbuds in... Listening to her iPod music, and continuing to pick strawberries
Felix grinned and snapped his fingers. Confetti popped over both of the girls and fell on their head
Tia shrieked in surprise, jumping about a mile straight up. She looked up and around, spotting the cheerful confetti guy again. She shot him a death glare as she brushed the confetti off her and away, raking it out of her blonde hair with her fingers. Why did people always try to insist being nice and so cheerful? It didn't sit right to her that everything was bright and cheerful without..... her.
Alexandra stood up and looked for the source of the confetti... Realizing it was a Hermes child.. But another girl had confetti in her hair and laughed at them both...
"Oh shut it." Tia snapped at him, crossing her arms angrily. She shot him a fierce glare, but it was obvious she did not want to be there at all. She shifted on her feet, glancing to the side like she wanted to run.
"With my mother, I'm as far from sunshine as you can get." Tia smirked, shooting a glare. Her shifting had changed from almost angry, to uncomfortable, looking down at her black converse.
"Nyx, goddess of night." Triana explained briefly, hardly looking up. It took some effort to keep from adding something like 'the b*tch.' She had only met her mother once in her memory, and that hadn't ended well for any of them.
"Tia-" Tia stopped herself, biting her tongue. Giving her name was bad enough, but nicknames opened up to close, and she would have t fight all the harder to not become friends or anything. "Triana." She finally said.
Alexandra watched them closely then shrugged and stood up with the basket now full of strawberries and walked behind Tia quietly...
Tia didn't dare return his words, but she did flinch back from the confetti. "Stop it!" She snapped at him angrily, retreating back a few steps and looking like she'd rather go farther, but she didn't want to seem too rude.
Alexandra trips and drops the basket and lands on the strawberries... "Crap!" She shouts and stands up... Stained with strawberry juice...
Tia was about to respond, but instead she flinched and jumped forward at the sudden sounds behind her, and her paranoia was fully revealed. She glanced at Felix, biting her lip. "Because. It's not fair that you're all happy while-" She broke off, turning to the girl again.
Tia sighed, glancing at him and looking away after only a second. "Just..... Just because of some... things that have happened." She explained flatly, trying to avoid saying too much.
Alexandra does a quick facepalm to herself and dumps the strawberries out and begins to pick new ones... "You lousy ediot... Stupid it took you hours to pick those... Ughhh A$$-face..." She says to herself
"What? Oh umm... " she says looking up and her hand slips and she falls into mud... "You know what.. $h*t!!" She says angrily at herself...
Tia snorted, having little to know pity for a girl who go dirty when she knew one who went through much, much worse. "Suck it up, buttercup." She snapped idly. "You're not going to die-" She paused as she finished speaking, her hands curling into fists at her sides, hard enough her nails drew blood from her palms.
"No.. Your right... It happens every day, just really annoying..." She admits and takes her shirt off revealing a green tank top and she whipes the mud and juice off her face and her hair...
"Like I said: shut it!" As Tia's anger grew and she glared at him, and her green eyes darkened a few shades in response to her anger.
Tia growled at him, her green eyes nearly black by now. "I said stop it!" She yelled, and pushed her hand out. A wave of darkness swept from her hand at him and knocking back onto his butt. She glared down at him, and you couldn't tell at all how much that actually took out of her.
Triana sighed slightly and held out a hand to help him up, her eyes their normal green again. She then rolled them, glancing over at him. "You're not as bad as some." She said simply.
"I've met much worse people then you. And sometimes a wave of the hand won't save either of you." Tia explained, her voice dropping a bit quieter.
