Laura came upon the Strawberry Fields with Dylan, clutching his hand tight. Part of her liked having someone, especially him, take her around camp; it made her feel safe. But then again, she didn't have independence. "It smells sweet, it must be harvesting season already."
Dylan looked around the strawberry fields and decided that it was his new favourite place. With Laura's hands in his own he felt complete and whole and a new feeling washed over him.To break the silence "tell me about your family Laura" he asked her.
"Well," Laura started off, "I lived on a farm in Pennsylvania like I said, but with my father and my little brother. My brother and I liked to explore the forest that was on the other side of our meadow. If we walked far enough, we could even get to this little lake, it was more of a pond I guess. We swam there in the summer. My father though was a quiet man. He never had a whole lot to say." She spoke like she'd just been there but really, that was two years ago. She missed swimming and climbing trees and such.
Dylan looked at her face which was filled with a longing, he so badly wanted to satisfy her."well we have to remove that look from your face...there is a forest here and i know it has plenty of tress and there is a lake also and i could be your companion throughout this, minus the whole little brother thing" he added with a laugh. "sometimes we have to leave the ones we love.. but doesn't mean that that they have permanently left us, we just have to search for them in every place we go"
Laura smiled, "I'd like that." She nodded at his words, finding them comforting. "So forest or lake then? Your choice."
"we are going to climb all the trees in the forest like a pair of monkeys"he said flapping his arms like a monkey "and then we can go to my cabin ,if that's okay with you...i can show you some of my books if you want" he asked her.

"Just as long as I don't have to eat a banana," Laura said with a big grin. "And sure, I'd love that."
Mackenzie wrote: "William sighed. He wondered why Justin was here."As Justin wasn't spitting out his purpose for approaching them, Aurora tried to remember what they'd been talking about. "So you said that you made your own experiments in your dad's lab, right? What sorts of stuff did you find out?" she asked.
Justin realized he blanked out on Aurora. Now he was stuck listening to William. Well as long as he can participate
"I screamed at a cat when I was little... I swear it was out for vengeance for years afterward..." she laughed.
((Bye! I'll be back later.))"Well, now that I know that my cat is currently not lurking behind me..."
Just to be sure, she quickly glanced backwards one more time, then passed William another strawberry.
((I'll be back soon. Could you post?))"Sure," Aurora replied, laughing.
She popped one final strawberry into her mouth before standing and brushing off her jeans.
Anna walked the field, occasionally picking a strawberry, but mostly thinking. Why would anyone care about her? She was already bullied, but there are also the people who were afraid of her because of her father. She sighed, bending down to pick another strawberry. She popped the juicy thing into her mouth, enjoying the sweet taste. An Ares kid came up behind her, pushing her over."Move over, freak," the boy said, laughing. Anna tried to get up again, but the boy pushed her back down. "Don't even try it," he said, laughing again. "Or my axe may slip out of my hand."
Breleyna walked up too and saw the ares kid. "Dear, can't you SEE bulling isn't nice." As she blinded him with a ray of color.
"What the-" he got blinded just then. "F*CK!" He took the axe that was in his hand and cut the vines, running off.Anna sighed, getting up. Her shirt was stained with red from the strawberries, but her black hair covered her face as she turned her violet eyes towards the ground. She bit the inside of her cheek. "Thanks.." she muttered, not being used to the help. Why would anyone help a daughter of Kronos?
"Anna," she said quietly. Her mind wad still whirring with troublesome thoughts. Her whole life was a mistake and she was one too, should she just die?
Breleyna smiled, "Sweetie it was nothing. Those idiots don't understand what it's like to be different." She leaned in and whispered, "I know your with the Kornos cabin, it's fine. One of my best friends doesn't have a parent.
Anna gave a small smile, looking up slightly. "Thank you," she whispered, "again." She fingered her purple dagger.
((Okay, I just realized I messed up and she has white eyes with a black ring around the iris too separate it from the white of the eye.))
Breleyna smiled warmly, "No one should go around picking on people." She stated.
"Yeah, well, that isn't always how life is. Bad things happen. Titans fall and so do gods." She looked up all the way, stare hard. "And it is almost always our own fault."
Breleyna sighed, "It wasn't my personal fault! I never did anything particularly bad. Well I did burn down that library. But it wasn't my fault!" She protested.
Anna shrugged. "It's my fault for deciding to tell someone. One secret gets around camp and suddenly you're a freak."
Breleyna nodded, "One time someone said that I wasn't sisters with Reily. Umm, I don't know if they noticed, we're both Iris." She said in a matter of fact tone.
Breleyna nodded, "So, I'm Breleyna who are you?" She asked.
