"Oh, um, yeah, I guess", he said. "What about you?".

She shrugged "Sometimes. But only when its quite.. so I can steal the strawberries."

Ray laughed. "So, um, do, um, do you have a boyfriend?', he asked nervously.

She smiled and blushed a little "No.. I don't actually at the moment. Do you?" she asked "A girlfriend I mean. or a boyfriend really. I don't judge."

"No, um, I don't", he said, embarrassed. "Sorry, I just made this really awkward".

She laughed lightly "No you didn't, honestly." She placed her hand on his knee to assure him.

"Oh, um, er, good", he said, his mouth going dry very rapidly.

She didn't move her hand immediately instead she kept it there for a while as she looked at him closely smiling. After a bit she lifted her hand and placed back on the grass.

Ray smiled at her for what felt like ages.

"so tell me something about yourself Ray" she said

"Hmm, well, Poseidon is my grandfather, so I have water powers", he said. "What about you?".

"Oh well now that it cool" she said then paused to think about what to tell him "I grew up with my aunt and her family and lived a pretty ordinary life until I was 14"

"I take it that's when you came here?", he asked.

"Yeah... didn't know a thing about who my mum really was until then... My dad never told me... We weren't exactly close"

She looked down at his hand on her and smiled "oh did I phrase that badly? Sorry he's still alive.. but I suppose that doesn't really make a difference.. he isn't much of a father.... never was" She blushed. She was rambling now.

Ray grinned at her. "I get the feeling your a bit nervous?", he asked, not moving his hand.

"What does Aphrodite have to with strawberries?", he asked, confused.

"Well an aphrodisiac is a food of love. And a strawberry is an aphrodisiac." She said with a matter of a fact tone.

"Ohhh, that makes more sense now. I was seriously confused", he said, laughing.

She laughed along with him "sorry I guess I should have been clearer."

"No, it's just I, um, I'm not that smart", he admitted, looking at his feet.

Ray held out his hand and a stream of water came flying over to it. "My water just flew out of my water bottle", they heard someone shout in the distance.
