Ellie kept looking at them, fresh tears rolling down her cheeks.

She found a drachma in the dirt. Ooh. She wiped the dirt off of it and stuck it in her pocket. Maybe she would buy something later.
Ellie sat down, clutching her basket of strawberries.
She kept weeding in the same area and soon found another drachma. Happy with her newfound treasure, she headed off to the camp store to buy something.
Ellie glanced at Piper and she curled up in a ball, trying to hide in the bushes of strawberries.
"THERE'S NOTHING TO DOOOOOOOOOOOO" Travis groaned and fell into a bush. "OW WHY ARE THEY PRICKLY?" He glared at the bush. "BAD BUSH. BADD BUSH. EVILLLL BUSH." He reprimanded the bush and then gingerly got up, while sulkily humming "nobody knows the trouble I've seen" under his breath.
Safia walked up to the fields and sat down. She could hear the satyrs playing their pipes in the background, and could smell the strawberries all around her.
Travis glared at Katie, looking much like a 3 year old who'd missed nap-time and ended up hating the world."Woman, I don't DO weedin'."
"Hm..." She considered. "You could knock a year off your free candy and still do the girl guide hours."
"What if I kissed you?" Travis asked with a sly smile and then realized what he said. His eyes widened and floundered to find something else to say. "Or you know, I could negotiate. 3 months."
She raised an eyebrow. "Six." Although her cheeks might have turned slightly pink at that first part. Okay, more than slightly.
Travis tried to ignore the fact that Katie's cheeks resembled the strawberries she was picking and huffed a sigh. "Four."
Thank the gods Travis had lost the ability to blush a long way back. Huh, turns out Connor could save Travis from suffering from further embarassment, who knew? "Three."
"Or how about we go with the BETTER compromise and you just let me sit here and entertain you, because I'm just that awesome?"
Travis sputtered and fell over. He picked himself and carefully avoided meeting Katie's eyes as he tried to find something to say. "I, you, what?"
Travis sat down on the bush and cursed under his breath. Three? Three whole months? How long was that? 90 days! 90 full days!
