Strawberry Fields
Fallon did likewise. He grabbed a particularly big strawberry, bringing it in front of him.
Picking off the stem, he started moving it towards Brook's mouth, making train noises.
"Heeeeere it comes"
Fallon grinned. He knew he was acting stupid, but sometimes it was nice to just not be so serious all the time and act...silly.
"Is it good?" he asked, watching her face to see her reaction.
Well, that made him really want to try one!Fallon reached out, snagging another strawberry.
"I wonder if this one will taste as good"
Fallon's bottom lip stuck out and he heaved an exaggerated sigh. "Aw"
He pulled the stem off the strawberry and popped it into his mouth.
A burst of flavor met his taste buds and he grinned.
Fallon did the same, occasionally dropping some delicious strawberries into Brook's mouth as well as his own. Soon, all the strawberries they could reach while sitting down were gone.
Fallon nodded, letting out a contented sigh."I'm completely full. I don't think I'd be able to eat one more of those impossibly delicious things" he said, grinning.
The feeling was mutual there. Fallon looked up at the sky too, resting his head on top of her shoulder.
"What do you think that one looks like?" he asked, pointing.
Fallon frowned, thinking. "Hm...a heart I think" he said, surprised.
Usually he saw thinks like mutated animals in clouds.
Fallon smiled. "What a coincidence that we both see the same thing" he murmured, turning his head and kissing her cheek.
Or not a coincidence
They sat there in silence for awhile. Fallon felt more relaxed and generally happy then he had been in a long time.
This was nice...
Fallon felt warmth shoot through him. "Ditto that for me" he said, squeezing her hand back.
Brook was amazing.
It's strange. She never really did lose control of her powers like she thought she would.
Brook stared up at the sky It was crazy how'd they wound up here
Hard to believe they didn't like each other a month ago
That thoughtful look on her face...Cute
"Whatcha thinkin' about?"
He looked up as well, trying to spot whatever she might be looking at.
But all he saw was sky...a few clouds...
Fallon smiled, remembering. "Oh yeah. Those were the days. When girls were the most disgusting creatures on planet earth" he said wistfully, eyes sparkling.
Really, he wasn't wistful at all.
Fallon grinned. "Hey, that kinda has a ring to it. Better than puppet boy, at least" he said, remembering the nickname Ember had given him.
But he'll be professional when he trains me...right?
"I like 'I love you' better" When would he start training?
Fallon wanted to start as soon as possible.
The better to make sure he could protect Brook.
((Gtg, bye!))"When do you think I should try to ask Ember about teaching me?" Fallon asked, oblivious to Brook's confusion.
The sun felt so nice on his skin.
Fallon blinked."Uh, okay. I'll take that into consideration" he said frowning a bit.
So Ember wasn't the friendliest when he was mad, eh?
"Don't know why he'd be mad though"She shrugged
Ember really didn't get mad
But when he did....
Let's just say he gets aggressive
Fallon shifted a bit. Would Brook be fine with him kinda going off and...asking for training?
To Ember of course.
Weird that I even know him
Fallon nodded."I just...do you think I could go try to find him now? I mean, you can come to if you want"
It would be nice to have Brook close by.
And also to maybe show off any amazing fighting skills he happened to display.
"Um....yeah. We could go find him"Brook nodded
"Of course I'd want to come, I wanna see you train"
She smiled
Fallon felt his spirits lift.Phew!
For some reason, he'd thought that wouldn't be the case.
"Okay then. Let's go!"

smiling up at him
She reached out and grabbed one
