"No, it's not," he replied, running his hand through his hair. "Things are nice and peaceful and then I ruin it by talking."

"No, really I'm fine." She said closing her eyes slightly tearing up.
"Stevie," he mumbled, wrapping his arms around her. "Oh, Stevie."
"I-I'm fine, Tyler." Her voice broke.
"Stevie," he said again, hugging her close. "What's wrong?"
"I just... don't like see you unhappy." She said squeezing her eyes shut.
"And I don't like seeing you unhappy. So come on, cheer up," he replied, rubbing her back gently.
She sighed and laughed weakly, "I'm trying."
"Good," he said, hugging her. "Is that the only thing that's bothering you?"
"I think so..." She said smiling a little bit.
She blushed and smiled cheering up, "How are you?" she asked quietly to Tyler.
"I'm good," he assured her. "I'm feeling conflicted and stressed, but I'm okay."
She hugged him, "At least your okay, that's all that matters."
"Not really, I told you already, you're my top priority right now."
She ruffled his hair "But you are mine also, so your more important in my eyes."

He smiled at her softly and wrapped his arms around her waist.
Charlie smirked. "So is this your way of accepting my partner in crime offer?" She asked.
Or was it his way of asking her out?
She hadn't known him very long but she did realize that she liked him...

She wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled at him.
He pulled her onto his lap again and rested his head on her shoulder.
She snuggled into his arms and smiled.
He held onto her, stroking her hair gently, and closed his eyes.
"Are you sleepy?" She asked in a soft voice.
"Not really." She said with a shrug. "I mean, I could fall asleep but I'm not in the mood right now."
"Then why'd you ask?" He replied, laughing lightly.
She laughed, "Well, I was wondering. Is there a problem in that?"
"No," he said, smiling. "It's just that when you ask it usually implies that you are tired or I was yawning or something."
"Well you DID close your eyes." She pointed out.
"Alright, I guess I'm kinda sleepy," he admitted, sighing. "But it's only because you're warm and soft and cuddly, and I'm really comfy."
"Thanks." She said blushing, "Your warm and cuddly too." What was that? she thought scolding herself. Your cuddly too? Are you kidding me? He's going to think your crazy. She blushed a shade redder.
He nuzzled his nose into her neck and pulled her closer. "Thank you. And calm down, I can feel you getting all tense. What's wrong?"
"I said you were cuddly," she blushed. "It sounds weird coming out of my mouth, not your mouth you made it sound cute, but me... Ugh. I'm talking to much aren't I?"
"You can never talk too much," he replied, smiling. "I love listening to you. And you're just too cute in general so don't worry about sounding weird."
She blushed and fumbled with a strand of her hair, "Thanks, that really nice of you to say that."
He smiled and rested his forehead against hers. "You know I didn't think it was possible, but you're even cuter when you blush."
She tried her best not to blush but ended up a rosy pink.
His smile widened. "See, you're proving my point," he teased, stroking her cheek gently.
She laughed, "Come on, I can't be THAT cute. It's out of my nature."
"Oh, you're very wrong," he replied, shaking his head. "You're very cute and adorable, Stevie. It's just who you are."
She laughed playfully, "Really? Are you sure?"

Thaddeus wonders briefly if he ought to be suspicious of her, he knows that the Aphrodite cabin had gotten rid of their initiation which said you had to make someone fall in love with you and then break their heart. He wasn't sure if anyone still did it. "Sure." he says with a slight grin, "Partners in crime it is."
Charlie smiled and sat up, holding her hand out for him to shake.
Thaddeus takes her hand shaking it, "Now that that is settled what do you suppose our first order of business ought to be?"
Charlie tapped her chin. "I'd love to give all my siblings who think we should continue that stupid rite of passage thing a piece of my mind." She smirked.
Thaddeus raises an eyebrow, it's like she knew exactly what he was thinking about. He grins reassured though, "How do you propose we go about doing that?"
