Thaddeus smiles, "Well Charlie- you're pretty cool too- for an Aphrodite." he says with a smirk.

Charlie rolled her eyes and smiled. "Gee, thanks."
He nudges her with a laugh, "Really though. You're good company."
Charlie winked. "Oh well I try." She leaned back again.
Thaddeus grins, "Another random question." he says, "you play any instruments?"
Charlie smiled. "Guitar." She replied softly. "That's all though. What about you?"
"I love guitar." he says, "I'm decent at it. The only thing I can play really well is piano. Tess inherited all the musical ability- she can play pretty much anything she picks up by ear. You ought to play for me sometime."
Charlie laughed. "Maybe. You'll have to play the piano for me then. I have to hear."
Thaddeus smiles, "If you insist, then I will. Actually-" he stands, "There's a grand piano back here, it's not mine, it's one of my half brothers but I won't tell if you won't." he says with a grin.
Charlie's eyes widened. "Really? Yeah, come on!" She stood.
He leads her back to a grand piano and sits on the bench motioning for her to sit by him. "Hmm, what to play- any suggestions?" he asks.
Charlie shrugged. "Not really. Just something interesting of course." She smiled.
"Interesting is pretty open to interpretation." Thaddeus says. He begins playing Divenire by Ludovico Einaudi his fingers moving ((random song haha I don't even play piano)) his fingers fly across the keys never missing a note.
Charlie listened intently, smiling as he played.
Thaddeus plays smiling to himself as the music builds from slow to a more rapid pace, his fingers move faster and the tone of the music changes. He plays slower again and sneaks a glance at Charlie. He improvises a little making the 8 minutes song only about 4 and ends the song letting the sound of the keys ring out.
Charlie clapped when he was done. "Alright. That was pretty impressive."
((sorry internet)) Thaddeus smiles, "Why thank you."
Charlie sat on the bench beside him. "It's cool watching other people play different instruments. All I've ever known is guitar." She smiled at him, not noticing that their shoulders were just barely touching.
"I've always thought so too." Thaddeus says, "Who taught you to play?"
"My mother." She said, looking at the piano. "Before I- well, when I was younger, she taught me how to play. We loved playing together." She smiled slightly.
Thaddeus senses it's a bit of a hard topic for her to talk about and appreciates her opening up, "It's nice to have some kind of skill to remember people by. My mother tried to teach my sister and I to sing. She has an amazing voice- part of why Apollo liked her so much."
Charlie smiled. "I think Aphrodite liked my father so much was because of how successful he was." She shrugged. "He was a very smart guy." She didn't know why she spoke of them in past tense.
She didn't know if they were still alive or not.

((bye!))It takes all of Thaddeus's willpower not to question her further- he's curious to know how she doesn't know where her family is or why she isn't in touch with them. But he knows his questioning would be out of place, "He sounds great." he says with a smile, and he did. Why would he let his daughter get so far away and not try to contact her?

"That it's your new battle scar." Katherine giggled as she bend down.
"Right." Jake said. Razor hid under the covers.
Katherine wrapped her arm around his neck again, she bent down even more to be closer to his face and she kissed him lightly smiling against his lips.
He smiled as well. Razor didn't look out from under the covers.
"Was the picnic all you had planned?" she asked curious sitting in his lap.
"Well.....I don't know what eels to do.
Katherine smiled, she expected that answer. "After the rain, well a little later because I have to do something first.." she thought out loud. "I have a telescope." she smiled waiting for his reaction. "We can sneak out in the night and look at the stars."
"Sounds good to me." He smiled at her and then kissed her cheek.Razor peeked out to see if the rain stopped.
Katherine looked at him with a wide smile. "Great!" she whispered.
Jake laid down. Razor ran to the door and waited to go. It stopped raining.
Katherine laid next to him and she kissed his cheek.
Razor jumped up and down waiting to go.
Katherine got up and looked at him. "What's up?" she asked confused.
Can we go? It stopped raining!
Charlie looked down at her hands and nodded.
"He was." She whispered.
Some days she still wondered why she left.
But her parents made it perfectly clear that she was holding them back from whatever it was they needed to do.
"I'll be right back ok?" She smiled at him and stood.

Charlie walked back in a few minutes later with her beloved guitar. She sat down on Thaddeus' bed and smiled at him.
"He was." She whispered.

"Ooh!" Katherine looked outside. "Jake I have to go dom something." she said putting on her jacket and walking to the door.

She laughed, "Four's just annoying, end of story."
He grinned. "Yup, so here we are," he said, sighing.
She sighed, "Which number to pick..."((Sorry, I had a lot of homework.))
"Do you want to try a different test?" He offered, sighing. "Just in case. I dunno, we're running out of options."
She leaned back, "You can pick the test this time."
"Alright, fine," he agreed and opened the book. He read the pages silently, trying to find one.
"Find any?" She asked looking over his shoulder.
"Well, there's this one," he said, pointing at an entry on the page. "You take your most prized possession and cast this enchantment on. Then you just say a magic word and it teleports you right in front of your true love."
