message 2651: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom twirled and, grabbing the shoulder farthest from him, he stuck his foot behind the girl's and dropped her straight to the ground. "Thanks for the compliment, but I think that would mean more to me if it came from a chimaera; with your looks, your standards can't be very high."

message 2652: by Ashley (new)

Ashley The girl's mouth hung open in shock.
She'd never been turned down before.
"Did...did you just insult me?!" she exclaimed, sitting up and glaring daggers at Dom.
"Oooooooh" the other Apollos said in union, sick smiles on their faces.
They were enjoying this.

message 2653: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) "I don't know, you tell me. Are you smart enough to?" Dom replied, his face unreadable, but icy. He glanced at the other Apollo kids. "You are all acting like a pack of Aphrodites," he said with obvious disdain, sword loose but ready in his hand.

message 2654: by Ashley (new)

Ashley "Aw, we just don't like Brie. And Amanda is stuck up enough to be an Aphrodite for sure. She always gets her way" said a guy Apollo, sitting up in bed.
Brie was hearing all of this play out through the wall.
Tears made her eyes sting.
She stared at herself in the mirror.
Wondering if she should come out.

message 2655: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) "Just her?" He turned towards the bathroom. "Hey, Brie! Are you sure we went Into the right cabin? It's feeling a little too... Aphrodite-esque in here."

message 2656: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Brie couldn't help but smile at that.
She opened the bathroom door and stepped out, happy to be in dry clothes now.
"Hm, I don't know. I always find myself in here, even when I ask for directions to the Aphrodite cabin"
Everyone rolled their eyes but stayed silent.

message 2657: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom smirked. "So it is the Aphrodite cabin! Pack your stuff, Brie, it's about time we got you where you belonged." Hopefully these Apollo brats would lay off now,

message 2658: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Amanda got up from the floor.
She tossed her hair over her shoulder.
"Oh Brie, you have something on you" she said in mock horror going over until she was standing in front of her.
Brie's forehead winkled.
"Oh!"
Amanda smiled.
"Yeah it's riiiiight there" she said, putting a finger right on the 'spot'.
Brie tilted her head down and Amana's finger flew up and hit her in the nose.
"Ha!"

message 2659: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) ((My dad used to do that to me all the time when I was little! XD ))

"Yup, definitely the Aphrodite cabin. This girl hasn't come up with anything original the entire time I've been here," Dom commented, reaching for her hand and starting to make his way towards the door.

message 2660: by Ashley (new)

Ashley ((:D))

Amanda grabbed his hand, stopping him in his tracks.
"Leaving so soon?" she purred, sidling up beside him.
Brie sighed.
Amanda always got her way.
"I hate this. Coming here every single night and getting pranked all the time is getting boring" she said as she started towards the door.

message 2661: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom looked at Amanda emotionlessly, then down at her shirt. "Oh my god, girl, is that... Ketchup on your shirt? You know that stains something awful?"

message 2662: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Amanda's eyes widened.
She looked down, then frowned.
There was nothing on her shirt.
"Nice try handsome" she said, looking up.
She fluttered her eyelashes at him.
"I wonder what you taste like...." she said, leaning forward.
And pressing her lips to his.
Brie stiffened.
Then shook her head.
Of course.
She grabbed the door nob and turned it, stepping outside.
And slamming the door behind her.

message 2663: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom had been expecting it, and stepped back the second her lips touched his, mouth curled into a look of disgust. "I don't know how I taste, but what did you eat for lunch today? It sure stinks." He flicked his sword up and across her chin, leaving a thin red line that would heal in two seconds flat. He then turned on his heel and walked out of the cabin, closing the door firmly behind him.

message 2664: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Amanda's mouth dropped.
She put a hand to her chin as the others laughed.
"He totally turned you down" called one of the girls, disbelief and glee sounding in her voice.
Amanda scowled, her hands curling into fists.
She would have him.
She always got her way.

Brie walked fast, trying to get as far away from her cabin as she could.
This was getting to be too much.
Between the evil voice in her head, the bullying, and the loneliness, she was staring to wonder why she even bothered to stay alive.
There was no point anyways.

message 2665: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom jogged to catch up to her. "Hey. Hold up," he called as he fell into step beside her. "You ok?" He asked, and then immediately realized that was sort of a stupid question.

message 2666: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Brie gave a little laugh.
"Oh sure. I'm great" she said in reply, increasing her pace.
How long had he kissed her?
Amanda had sunk her claws into him; how had he even gotten away?

message 2667: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) "Sadly, I forgot my girl talk translator at home; it'd be nice if you could tell me what's actually up. I know a lie when I hear one," he said, hands in his pockets as he walked beside her.

message 2668: by Ashley (new)

Ashley What was she supposed to say?
"I'm done with this. I'm done with everything. There's absolutely no reason for me to keep this up!" Brie stopped suddenly, staring off at nothing.
She hated this.

message 2669: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom stopped as well, then walked a few more steps and turned, so that he faced her. "Done in a good way, right? It doesn't matter what they say. Those who matter don't care, and those who care don't matter. Ever heard that?" He had no idea where that had come from, but it didn't feel like his words. Probably some famous person's quote.

message 2670: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Brie had heard that before.
"Matter...care....who are these people that 'matter' as you say? No one cares, no one matters. I..."
She shook her head.
Yes. Die girl. Get away from it all

message 2671: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) "They care about the wrong things. And I'd... I'd like to hope I matter." Dom said quietly.

message 2672: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Brie stood there silently for what felt like a long time.
He did matter to her.
But did she matter to him?
Her hands curled into fists; her fingernails dug into the palms of her hands.

message 2673: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Before he could thin it through, Dom stepped forward and put a hand on her cheek and kissed her.

message 2674: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Brie's heart stopped for a second, then started again, pounding hard and fast.
What...?
How...?
Why...?!
She closed her eyes and kissed him back.

message 2675: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) His other hand came to her waist and pulled her closer.

message 2676: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Am I dreaming?
No.
She never had dreams this wonderful.
Brie's arms went up and around his neck.

message 2677: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom's thoughts were starting to filter back into his mind in slow motion, taking their time. The first was, did I do the right thing? And the next was not a thought, just happiness.

message 2678: by Ashley (last edited Nov 29, 2013 08:51PM) (new)

Ashley He had done the exact right thing.
Brie couldn't wonder about his motives, or why he was kissing her.
She just couldn't.
She felt like how you feel when, after days and days of grey sky, dark clouds, the sun breaks through and shines its light on everything.
Wonderful.

message 2679: by [deleted user] (new)

((YAY FOR BRIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!))

message 2680: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) ((*its. Sorry, I'm sort of a grammar nazi XD))

Dom broke away, out of breath. Whatever else had happened so far at camp paled in comparison to this. He should've met her sooner.

message 2681: by Ashley (new)

Ashley ((Oops XD))

Brie drew in a deep breath, blinking in an effort to clear her head.
Had...had that really just happened?

message 2682: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Had he actually just done that? Not that he was regretting it the tiniest bit, because he most definitely wasn't. But he didn't know what Brie's reaction was going to be. Hopefully not anything along the lines of a slap.

message 2683: by Ashley (new)

Ashley "That...was nice" Brie finally said, a blush slowly creeping onto her cheeks.
Funny how things could change so fast.
She wasn't going to die.
At least, not today.

message 2684: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) A smile pulled at Dom's mouth. No slap, then. Good sign. "Good," he said, then pulled her into another kiss.

message 2685: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Brie gasped in surprise.
But then she sank back into bliss, closing her eyes again.

message 2686: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) His thumb stroked her cheek and he smiled against her lips. He was dimly aware of a thought that was telling him he should probably stop. But he ignored it.

message 2687: by Ashley (new)

Ashley He made her feel safe, made her feel as if she actually mattered.
Brie pulled him closer, if that was even possible, deepening the kiss.

message 2688: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom ran his fingers through her red hair, which, he knew for a fact somehow, was definitely not dyed. He had few real memories, but something made him think that even out of those he couldn't remember, this would be the best moment of his life.

message 2689: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Brie moaned in delight.
This was different from the first kiss they'd shared.
She wanted to stay like this forever.

message 2690: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) ((I gtg, sorry, bye!))

Dom couldn't stand it. It was all so much, so perfect. He didn't deserve to have her, but here she was, and she hadn't slapped him yet.

message 2691: by Ashley (new)

Ashley ((Aw okay, bye!))

Brie knew that this was going to end at one point.
The very thought hurt.
Her lungs hurt, but she barely noticed.

message 2692: by corina (new)

corina (molteneyes) Dom pulled back and leaned his forehead against hers, breathing in air he hadn't realized he needed. He was half expecting the slap to come now, though he hoped not.

((Sorry, I really don't know what Dom's problem with slaps is XD ))

message 2693: by Ashley (new)

Ashley ((Lol!))

Brie panted, her heart pounding hard in her chest.
Slowly, everything focused around them.
Grass, trees, the sky suddenly all existed again.
Funny how you can forget about all that in such a short amount of time.

Eerie (eeriev) "Hey wait." Kat grabbed Jake's hand. "Don't get to close to Razor I don't want another.. Whatever that in the strawberry fields was." she whispered

Eerie (eeriev) ((I'm on the phone this '..' is in her mind, this ".." is talking))

'I didn't leave you. I just went out for a while.' she tought. 'Rain hasn't stopped yet.'

I know! But why did you bring him!? He looked at Jake.

Jake just sat on a bed.

message 2699: by Eerie (new)

Eerie (eeriev) Let's not be rude okay? Kat sat next to Jake with a smile.

Korzoran {William Massey} (korzoran) | 7685 comments But why did you bring him!? You said he'd stay away from me!

Jake looked at Katherine confused a little.
