He groaned. "Well it looks like I'll just have to starve now..."
"I'm sorry! I didn't know you were so hungry..."
She walked in, then stopped. Of course the one person in the room was him.
"My obituary will read 'The Great and Powerful Connor Stoll: Died Because He Didn't Get A Mint'," he sniffled.
"No! I shall not let you die!" Ellie wrapped her arms around him.
"Don't die!"Well... She needed her map back... She walked in reluctantly.
"Okay... Guess I'm not wanted here." She crossed her arms.
He clutched his heart and fell backwards, pretending to die.
"That'd be great." "He's not really dead, is he?"
"Psst! I'm okay!" Connor whispered, cracking one eye open. He tried not to laugh.
Connor closed his eyes again and lay against the roof. Of course, he got bored soon and sat up again.
She rolled around with laughter.
He poked her in the stomach. "What are you laughing at?"
She looked at her. These people were weird..."Why?" She asked Wes.
He laughed at Alexis's expression. "Don't worry ! We still have some sanity left!"
((Gtg! :C)) Connor laughed. "So, Lex, gotta watch on you? I don't know what time it is."
"I can't. I'm on break. And I let you go, didn't i?"
"I... I just wanted to say hello. Apparently you'd rather i had killed you." She turned to go.
"Fine. Apparently all the times I've saved your life don't matter." She said quietly. "Apparently I should have just left you to die because we don't have each other's backs anymore. All those pacts we made? They're over, Wes." She walked over to the door.
"And it's somehow MY fault that those pacts are broken?" She asked. "It wasn't my fault, Wes. I got you out, I gave you the map. What else did you want?"
"Wes... This is... This is what I have to do... I love it. I could never have fit in here, gods I've been here a day and everyone hates me."
"Wes, when I saw the huntresses..." She sat down on the bed. "I... I knew that that was what I wanted to do with my life. Sure I felt bad leaving you and Alexis to fight your way to camp half blood alone, but... It was my one shot to make a name for myself. To live on eternally. To... Be who I was meant to be."
She sat down next to him. "Wes... I've thought about you everyday. Every time we met a demigod, I'd ask them if they'd seen either if you... When I saw you guys... I thought you'd never made it to camp, that you'd just been waundering around, barely surviving..."
"Oh, gods Wes... I didn't mean it that way..." She sighed. "I'm awful with people..."
"I know we did, Wes... You don't understand at all..." She sighed.
"Wait!" She said. "Wes, I was hungry. I was tired. I was sick of being the sole provider for two 12 year olds. I was sick of being chased by monsters at every turn. When your life's like that, becoming immortal and always having enough food sounds pretty good.Yes, I was selfish, and yes, it was probably the worst decision of my life leaving you two alone. I'm sorry, ok? I don't know what else to say..."
"I know, Wes..." Tears Came to her eyes. "Every night I've lain there imagining what you two must've been through, and I'm sorry. From the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry."
"Wes..." Tears now ran freely down her face.
She watched him, "I'm sorry." She said quietly. "I shouldn't have left you." She looked down.
"Is there anything I can say that will make you forgive me?" She asked.
She nodded, and looked down at the floor.Alexis sat on the roof. "Alert!" She whispered, seeing Wesley come out. She flattened herself on the roof. Of course... It had to be him.
Erika sat on the bed.Alexis watched him. Why was he so mad?
Connor was lying flat against the roof. "He might notice us soon... I think it's time to put the plan in action," he whispered mischievously.
"Uhm... Sure." She replied, not really listening."
