((Yeah.))He nodded, understanding what she was talking about. He wouldn't really ask his mom for advice about Ichigo unless it was something big. Something that needed his mom's approval before doing something crazy. "Don't you just love custody battles?" He asked sarcastically.

"Mmh, right? They're amazing." Ichigo sighed. "Sometimes I wish my father was never stuck here. It's weird. I'm a demigod with two parents I talk to on a regular basis. I feel like I'm breaking the mold. And I've never really asked my siblings what they felt about it." She turned to Ian. "You talk like you've experienced a custody battle before."
"I haven't personally, but one of my friends from elementary did. It wasn't pretty. I helped them get through it." He said, and he thought about it. "I mean, when I was young, like Baby Ian young, my mom says that the state wanted to put me somewhere because "she was always working, and never there for me"." He said, quoting his mother. "But she wasn't. She was there when my diaper needed changing, when I needed a bath when I was hungry. all those things." He said. "She said that she hired a nanny when I was Toddler Ian, but the state still didn't like that. Eventually, they stopped pestering her about it, and she suspects my dad, Eros, was apart of that."
((I thought he was Apollo's kid??))Ichigo nodded. "Sounds about right. Family is weird. Sometimes they'd do anything for you even if they act like they don't care."

Ian shrugged. "Sometimes they do it to look good as well." He said and frowned. "Sorry, that was probably...I guess on the lines of dark humor."
((Been there, lol))"Nah. Dark humor rocks. With a sommelier as a mom, I've experienced that a lot. She keeps up her snooty work facade at home if I've done something that annoys her, which is essentially like you have an angry Italian woman who may have taken some drinks during her job mad at you." Ichigo took a deep breath, feeling like she was ranting a bit.
Ian gave a small chuckle. "At least its better than getting scolded for getting a A- on a test, because." He cleared his throat. "Getting an A- is one step closer to getting an F, and if you have an F, you fail. And you fail, you don't have college lining up behind you. And when you don't have that, you scramble for money. Next thing you know you're working odd jobs and dealing drugs and while doing them at the same time, and next thing you know you committed 1st-degree murder, and you're in jail because you didn't have the money for a good lawyer." He said, mimicking his mom.
"Oh, dang. I mean, I've been scolded for bad grades before, but it ending with me being in jail has never happened." Ichigo thought for a moment. "But you getting in trouble is a reasonable concern" she said, struggling to keep a straight face. "You... You did steal women's undergarments." She snickered.
Ian burst out laughing. "Well, I thought it was worth it because we got to spend time together because of that. Was it 70% legal business and 20% scolding? Yes, yes it was, however, there was 10% of us just laughing about it."
"Okay, that's adorable. But here's the thing. I bet your mom didn't buy you a fake ID for Bring-Your-Kid-To-Work day. Otherwise they wouldn't have let me anywhere near the champagne or wine." Ichigo said, a reminiscent smile on her face.
"Oh. My. Gods." He said slowly before laughing again. "Oh man. That sounds like it was something." He said smiling. "Wait...do you still have it?" He asked, his eyes going wide in awe.
Ichigo reached into her bag that was next to the bunk they were on and drew out her wallet, grinning. She brought out a card that read, "Esme Odysseus." "Dang right I do."
Ian laughed and gently took it from her hands, and examined it. "Oh my gods, can you still use it?" He asked, a dangerous spark in his eyes.
"Ian." Ichigo said, a dangerous tone in her voice. "I could, but I could possibly even pull it off easier since I'm older now. Why...?" She trailed off. "No, really. Why do you want to know?"
He gave a smile and shrugged. "Maybe we could get into some mischief." He said but then shook his head. "Gods, I'm sorry." He ran his hand through his hair, feeling like an idiot. "Sorry, I'm a....questionable influence." He said softly.
Ichigo stared him down. "You asked a daughter of Dionysus to be your girlfriend and she's seriously considering it. You're talking as if my father isn't concerned that I haven't been arrested yet. My middle name is mischief, Ian. What kind of it are you talking?" She rested her chin on her hands and looked him in the eye.
((Hey. So my grandmother isn't doing well, so I might not be online much so that I can spend as much time as possible with her before.......yeah. So I guess you can say I'll be going on hiatus, somewhat, so I might not be able to respond as much. Sorry 'bout that. Hope you can understand.))Ian felt his stomach fall and dip and twirl and spin. "Well...figured we could break a few rules. Go somewhere that we shouldn't." He said softly. "The day may be my dad's time, but the night is mine." He said with a smirk.
((Oh no!! I hope everything turns out okay... Don't worry about going on hiatus, I totally understand.))"How would we even get out? The patrol harpies would eat us." Ichigo started to think about the drawbacks, but then her eyes lit up. "Nevermind. I can take care of the harpies." She told him. "Are we mischief-ing tonight, or when I get back from my trip? Because tomorrow night I'll most likely be packing." She told him.
((Oh okay, thanks for understanding!))"I think after the trip because if we get caught, I don't want you to miss out on seeing your mom." He said with a smile.

((it's no problem. I really do hope things get better))"Okay." Ichigo agreed. "I look forward to it." She started to reach for the ID, but decided against it. "You hold onto it for me." She decided.

Ian looked down at the ID, and frowned. "You sure?" He asked. He didn't wanna lose the card, and figured he would. Ian looked up at Ichigo, a somewhat puzzled expression on his face.
"It's not going to help me if my mom finds it." Ichigo pointed out. "I think it's safer with you. Plus it's a reminder for me to talk to you when I get back to camp." She tilted her head. "Unless you're too chicken...?"
He felt a pang in his chest when she said that it could be a reminder for her to talk to him. She could forget about me that easily? he wondered. "Of course, I'm not too chicken. I'm the one who suggested it." He said with a chuckle.
"Okay, then." Ichigo was silent for a moment. "You know, I really do wonder who made that for my mom." She said with a small laugh. "And if they're still in business." She elbowed Ian.
"Ahaha, yeah, that'd be great." He said. "Do you think I look like a Timmy Roggers to you?" He asked, giving Ichigo a goofy smile.
"I think so." Ichigo grinned. "You'd look even more like a Timmy with a bit of blue hair," she added, ruffling his hair again. It was soft, she wanted to touch it again, it was that simple. She hoped. She really did like kissing him, too, but she felt that was a tad mean when she hadn't given her answer.
He grinned when Ichigo ruffled his hair. "I think that should be my new name once we dye our hair; Timmy Rogers." He laughed. He liked how her eyes lit up when she played with his hair, how her hands were in his hair. Not in a sexual way, but a fluff kind of way.
"I like Ian, but Timmy works for a fake ID." She grinned back. She had forgotten all about the movie, and at this point the laptop had shut off entirely.
Ian poked Ichigo's nose. "Ian is a nice name, ain't it?" he asked. He leaned back so he was laying down on his back, staring up at the ceiling. "If you could have any other name, what would it be?"
Ichigo thought for a moment, scrunching up her nose. "I'm not sure. Maybe Jade. I've always liked that name." She pulled her knees to her chest, hugging them. "What about you? Timmy?"
"I, Timmy Rogers, like the name Jade." Ian turned his head to look over at Ichigo with a lopsided grin on his face. "I think it suits you as much as Ichigo suits you." He complimented her, his face turning pink a little.
"I think you make a good Timmy, too." Ichigo grinned at him, not flustered in the slightest. "I got the name Esme from my Aunt Esme, and Odysseus from the hero of Troy. Esme is an okay name, I guess."
"Esme?" He repeated, a little confused. He then felt incredibly bad, because he wasn't sure if it was her last or middle name. It was a really cool name. "I thought Odysseus was the king of France." He says jokingly.
"The name on the card." Ichigo tapped the ID. "And I have no clue. I was either spaced out or reading wine magazines from my dad in World History. Heck, Napoleon could've been the king of France and I wouldn't have known."((Ichigo Esme does have a nice ring to it, lol))
((it does lol))"Then I guess you didn't learn that George Washington was a son of Athena." He says as he looks at the ID again. He was amazed at how real it looked.
"Really? That's cool. Even though Athena kids suck. They're very much a group of prissy know-it-alls." Ichigo shook her head. "One of them challenged me to a rap battle once. It was surreal, and hilarious. Actually... That may have been a dream." She gave a short laugh. "I don't know anymore."
Ian grinned and propped himself up on his elbows. "You know, raps have rhymes,
and you see, I got the time,
Is it time to shine?"

"That's no fair, you're an Apollo kid!" Ichigo complained, but she was grinning has hard as Ian. "I know raps have rhymes,
And you know it's time to shine

“No one said anything about being fair.” He said with a sly grin.“That was really, very dry,
In a positive way though,
I am so awesome.”
He said, quoting his father at the end. “Ichigo, I dare you to rhyme war.”
Ichigo smiled and leaned back, shaking her head. "Dare not accepted. I'm too tired to make up a merda ton of rhymes right now."
Ian gave a small pout to Ichigo. "Awh, but Ichigo."
He said, putting on a puppy face.
"I have many rhymes to use."
He poked her nose gently, smiling.
"I can give you some."
He concluded.
Ichigo laughed when he poked her nose."Aw, that's very sweet.
You, I'd hate to beat,
Um..." She thought hard for a moment, closing her eyes.
"Trick or treat?" she asked, smiling apologetically.
He smiled warmly at her. "In a haiku, its 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the 3rd," He explained. He wasn't being rude, or making fun. His tone was friendly, warm, wanting to help out.
"Ohhhh, we're doing haikus. I was just rhyming." Ichigo laughed, shaking her head. "I've been told before,
That my eyes are chaotic
My hair will be chaos." She shook her head again. "I'm worse than your father."
"S'okay." He said, laughing as well."I will tell you that
a thousand times and then some.
Girl, I like your hair."
He concluded. "No your not."
Ichigo shook her head, trying to come up with more."I like your hair too
But I like your cute face more
Dang, I'm so awesome," she finished. "I kind of am." She added, poking him. "You just don't want to admit it."
Ian blushed at the “cute face” comment, smiling. “You are a cutie too,
And possibly right as well,
For I agree with you.”
He smiled warmly.
((what if like, Ichigo shows signs of being tired, and Ian’s like, “you tired?” and she's like, nah, and just being somewhat stubborn, wanting to stay up, and then accidentally falls asleep, and Ian like, tucks her into his bed and he just falls asleep next to her, but not in an weird or like an romantic way))
Ichigo yawned, but continued."Everyone agrees, yo

She gave a little hair flip when she was done, grinning.

“Switching to the best of the best,A limerick, but should I look to the west?”
He started, and looked around, as if looking for the west direction.
“But for real, Ichigo, are you tired?
Because for demigods, sleep is required.
Maybe it might help to get some rest.”
He cringe at the limerick, though the words had flown out of him like the water flowing from a waterfall into a river, and heading down towards the ocean.
Ichigo thought hard about the question. "...About some things. Like, I wouldn't ask her for advice about you and I, because... Well, it takes a special type of person to fall in love with the god of wine and parties. But it also takes a special person to recognize a Chardonnay from a Cabernet, so I can trust her with some stuff." She gave a small smile. "She's almost as stubborn as my dad, too, which was interesting when they got into a custody battle over me."
