“Mmhmm. I’m sure.” She says
"Your face says otherwise. Dad's the god of truth, remember? Luc, even Ellisey likes him!"
Gabe had returned already, but he was still outside. He didn’t want to interrupt their conversation
"Lucio, I don't care if you don't like him, I just want to know why." Lux said, turning on her big sister face.
"A, I think we're all mysterious in our own way, B, have you met me? I'm arrogant and you like me just fine, and, C, he's a freaking son of Hephaestus." Lux pointed out. "And we all laugh at each other sometimes."
((He has a reason to be mysterious, he’s not arrogant, as Lux said, he’s a freaking son of Hephaestus XD and he wasn’t laughing at him!!))

“Hey! I’m not mysterious!” Ari protests
Lux sighed. "Okay. It's fine. But I get to choose who I want to be with." She said calmly. She glanced out the window and cringed. She opened the door. "You coming or what?" She asked, smiling at Gabe.
He managed to give her a small smile and walked in. Gabe kept his focus on the wall, not looking at anyone
"Thank you for your help." Lux said weakly, standing next to him.
Gabe nods. “No problem.” He said softly
Ellisey woke up, somehow undisturbed by the conversations. "Hey, when did he get here?" She asked, raising her eyebrows and pointing at Gabe.
“Hey, Demon. I got here a few minutes ago.”
"Ah." She glanced at Lucio and Lux. "I see. Welcome back." She said with a polite nod, grabbing a book and sitting back down to read.
He nods and noticed Lucios eye roll. He sighed and walked outside for while he waited for the putty to dry
Ash doesn’t say anything and just writes her notebook. Ari got up and pulled another pencil out of a cup on Ash’s desk
“It was a joke! Remember last time he was here? You couldn’t hold up those shelves!” Ash says
She rolled her eyes. “Lux gets stage fright. Does that mean you would call her a wuss too?”
Lux shook her head. "Guys! Stop! I will not let a guy get in the way of our sibling relationship. Lucio, I get you don't like him. Maybe keep your opinion to yourself from now on. Ash, lay off Lucio. I did ask to hear his thoughts."
Ashley doesn’t reply and looks down at her notebook.
"Everyone SHUT UP!" Ellisey yelled. "Lucio, you're our brother. I get what you're feeling. They have boyfriends, Aidan's got a girlfriend, who knows what all 50 of the rest of our siblings have! But we can't let ourselves get in they way of their happiness. They still care for us, and we'll find our own people when the time is right."
"It's okay." She glanced at the wall. "Thanks, El." She added, walking outside. "I think it's dry." She told Gabe.
He nods and walks back inside. He had heard every word that they had said. Gabe quickly paints over it, then turned to Lux. “I’ll see you later.” He said softly
"I'll see you later." Lux murmured, cursing the not soundproof walls of a cabin that tended to be quite loud. "Thanks again."
“No problem.” He kissed her cheek then walked back to his cabin
"That was dramatic." Ellisey sighed, nose in a book.
Ellisey glanced up. "Huh? Oh, I was talking about this." She said sheepishly, tapping the pages in front of her.
She giggled. “Of course you were. What are you reading?”
"Dad's retelling of his time chasing after Daphne the tree." Ellisey explained.
She laughed. “That sounds interesting.”
Lux laughed. "He gave you a copy of that one? I got the Hyacinthus version for my birthday."
"I think it's a relatively new development." Lux said, sounding a bit worried.
She shrugs. “I don’t really care. I’m used to not getting anything for holidays. Or ever, really.”
"That's rough." Ellisey said. "We need to change that." Lux agreed. "That's what sisters are for."
"Then it's settled. No matter the holiday, whether it be a president's birthday, or St. Patricks day, you will get a gift, to catch up on all the holidays you missed." Ellisey declared. "While we slowly, slowly go broke."
She laughed softly. “You don’t have to get me a present for every holiday. Then you won’t be able to get what you want, or other people presents,”
"Nonsense! I got interviewed for the position of cashier at the camp store for a reason!" Lux said dismissively. "We'll be fine."
Ellisey nodded. "Yes! Let us be nice to you. I think I've been possessed, because I haven't been this nice to anyone in a while." She giggled.
“Or maybe Gabe brought out your nice side.” Ash says, smiling. “I like you like this.”
