“Good night.” Ari whispered, carefully pulling out of his grasp so she didn’t fall asleep. She wanted to keep an eye on him. His head felt somewhat warm and she knew he hadn’t slept in days. She sat at the edge of the bed, reading a book and checking his head every five minutes to make sure it didn’t get worse.

Liam, somehow, didn’t squirm around in his sleep. He slept frozen still. His dream was of him in a fire, but a cold fire. It shifted his temperature. Cold, hot, cold, hot, over and over again. Liam found Ari’s hand while sleeping, and held it.
She gave his hand a gentle squeeze, checking his head again. It felt slightly warmer than the last time. Ari bit her lip in worry and sighed. There’s no need to wake him yet. His temperature is still within reason and he needs the sleepShe decides, sitting down again
Liam was still asleep, but he felt burning hot in his dream, mirroring his physical real temperature. Liam tried to squirm out of the flames, but he was locked in a cell, burning…
She checked his temperature again and quietly cursed. Ari shook his shoulder gently. “Liam! Liam, you have to wake up! You’re burning up!” She said, shaking him
Liam woke up with a start, his anxiety spiking up. His breathing was quick and short as he sat right up, grabbing her arm. He realized he was very hot, but also felt cold. “W-what?” he said, trying to calm his anxiety. His heart rate was about 150 bpm. FAST.
She rushed to grab some medicine. Arianna came back with a cold washcloth, an anxiety shot, and some fever pills. She gave him the shot and the pills with some water, and carefully made him lay down for the washcloth
Liam swayed as he laid down. The shot gave him a pang of pain, then calmed him down a bit, and the pills helped, too. “Chad’s needle?” he asked Ari, grinning slightly. He felt the cold washcloth on his forehead, and shivered a bit. “Ah, our roles are reversed now, e-eh?” he asked. He shivered with no blanket, but he knew he was burning up right now.
She nodded. “I took some from his cabin.” She gave him a sad smile. “Yeah, our roles are reversed.” Ari rummaged through the medicine cabinet until she found something to make him warm up on the inside. She walked over and gave it to him
Liam took it, his insides warming up. “Thanks. Now, I should probably go to my cabin so you don’t get sick again, or any of your cabin mates.” he said, struggling to get up from the bed.
She carefully pushed him back down and shook her head. “You’re too weak to get up. My cabin mates will be fine.”
Liam’s brown eyes met hers. “You sure? I really don’t wanna hurt or infect them.”
She nods. “I’m positive. If I need to, I can lock the door until you have enough strength to get back. It’s still morning. They’ll be out for a while.”
Liam smiled slightly, feeling comforted by that thought. “Thank you.” he said, and fell right back asleep.
“You’re welcome.” She whispered, sitting down beside him. Ari softly stroked his hair while he slept
Liam had a nice dream, though it was pictured in the summer, aka pretty hot. He held Ari’s hand the whole time sleeping, loving her.
About an hour later, his fever was gone. Ari smiled, happy that he wasn’t feeling hot anymore.
Liam woke up a few hours later, and smiled. The fever had broke! “Hey, Ari.” he said, raspy. “The fever broke, eh?”((btw Liam’s voice is like a deepish voice, but not too deep. it has a certain raspy tone to it, but it’s a sweet soft voice, too. just wanted to let u know ;) ))
((Cool. I love that you make voices for your OCs))She nodded and smiled. “Yeah, it did.” Ari squeezed his hand.
(( 😂 thx i just feel like it enriches the rp so you can actually imagine them in real life))Liam smiled. “Thanks. You helped a ton.” he said. “Daughter of Apollo over here! Healer! Let’s go!” he said a little louder, voice still a little raspier than usual. His eyes met hers.

If you haven’t, I can try to find a video or smth))Arianna giggled softly. “You’re welcome. You’re one of my first patients.”
((oh i love icarly!! cool thanks))Liam smiled. “One of your first of many great times. You can be buddies with Chad!” he said. He coughed a bit, and his voice was almost back to normal raspy level. “Hem-hem!” he said, mimicking Umbridge from Harry Potter.
((Alright, you’re welcome!!))She laughed. “Yeah, maybe I could be.” Ari gently patted his back as he coughed. “Are you feeling as good inside as you do on the outside?”
Liam nodded. “Feeling pretty good, honestly. Got a little headache, but that’s all, thank the gods.”
She smiled. “That’s great!” Arianna stood up and got Liam some headache medicine. “Here you go.”
Liam took it. “Thanks, Nurse Ari. Or are you a doctor? Pick one, it’s too confusing for me.” he said, grinning.
“I think I’d be more of a nurse than a doctor.” She says after thinking it over carefully
“Awesome, Nurse Ari. And so, how much would that cost?” he asked, smiling.
She taps her chin in thought. “How about three kisses?”
Liam grinned. “I’ll give you a tip. 4 kisses in total. How’s that?” he asked. He fixed his golden hair, grinning at her.
She grinned. “Four kisses sounds absolutely perfect.”
Liam stood up and walked to her, and, knowing no one was in the room, wrapped his arms around her waist, one hand stroking her hair. He leaned in and kissed her once, twice, three times, then on the fourth one, he held the kiss there.
((Can you imagine if Ellisey just jumped out XD))Ari grinned and kissed him back each time, her arms around his neck. After the last kiss, she pulled away and stared into his eyes, their lips inches apart. “Hmm, I’m starting to wonder if four kisses wasn’t enough payment.” She said teasingly
(( 😂 haha i’d die on the floor))Liam raised his eyebrows. “Really? Dang it!” he said, then pulled her in again, his body right up to hers, wrapped in each other, kissing sweetly.
((Same, lol))She giggled softly and kissed him back, swaying back and forth. “That’s better.” Ari murmured against his lips
Liam smiled, tightening his hold. “Good.” he said, loving her giggle. He kissed her more, stroking her hair gently.
Arianna twirled a piece of his hair around her finger, grinning as she kissed him. “I’m glad we’re alone.” She whispers

"ROAR!" Ellisey shouted. "YOU GUYS ARE GROSS! You kiss so loudly you woke me up!" She shrieked. ((Ari was pretty much asking for it))
((Ellisey is either going to be someone who's totally averse to love when she grows up, or this kick butt lesbian. I can't decide. But she might be the most fun character to roleplay. Sorry not sorry.))

(( 😂 hahaha i’m dying rn on the floor like i said))Liam jumped apart from Ari, and fell on the floor. His anxiety had jumped from Ellisey’s roar, and he was panting, hands on his knees, bent over, shaking, laughing, and embarrassed all at the same time. “YO!” he said loudly.
"I'M LEAVING." Ellisey yelled. "WAIT, No, I CAN'T. Because you two are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ALONE IN A CABIN BY YOURSELF."
Liam, bright red, grabbed his hat, nodded awkwardly to Ellisey, and walked out of the cabin, blushing. He headed to a stump right outside of the cabin, and put his hat back on backwards, blushing even more, thinking of what had just happened.
((SERIOUSLY????? I MISSED ALL OF THIS WHILE I WAS AT CHURCH????!!!!!! AAAHHHH!!!!!))Ari groaned. “ELLISEY!!!!!!! IM GONNA KILL YOU!!!!!” She yelled, huffing and following Liam outside
Liam paced around in the stump, blushing, and spinning his chains around and around, his hair a little damp from his sweat from the quick anxiety jump under his backwards hat. He saw Ari, and blushed further.
Arianna sat down beside him. “Hey, you ok? I know Ellisey can be a pain in the” she paused, so not to use a bad word “rear end.” She finished. “But that’s every little kid for ya.”
Liam, still pacing, adjusted his hat again. “It’s fine. She just scared me. My anxiety perked up, but I-I think I’m okay now. And I know about little kids. I never was that kid, but I had a friend in the Hermes cabin when I was little who was like that. Are you okay?”
She nodded. “Yeah, I’m fine. You should meet this one kid who is around Ellisey’s age. She’s actually in the Hermes cabin. She’s just as hyper as her, maybe more. One time, an Ares kid gave her coffee.” Ari shuddered at the memory. “That was not a fun day.”
Liam raised his eyebrows. “Danggg. Does not sound fun at all.” He slowly started to stop pacing. “The dude isn’t here anymore. He… he died in the battle of manhattan, even though he was only 11.” he said, looking at his hands sadly, then shook his head. “But he died a hero, the only way he wanted to go, besides eating pizza.”
Ari squeezed his shoulder. “I’m so sorry, Liam.” She smiled sadly. “Maybe now he’s in Elysium, with your mom.” She couldn’t imagine Ellisey, or Chloe dying at 11 years old. It was just so young
Liam nodded. “I don’t think so. I think he’d try for the Isles of the Blessed. He always pushed his hardest. And, by the way, his name was Andrew Jacob Pauls. People called him Andrew or AJ. I called him AJ and Apple Juice, because of his initials.” Liam said, smiling. “AJ was an orphan, his mom dying after having him, but he was a runaway, always wanting the best life, doing his best. He was very smart, but also very manipulative and was the king of passing gossip on.” Liam said. “But he was the best. I loved him as a brother.” he said. “And it’s hard to lose them. But just know they’re in a safer place.”
She smiled a little. “That’d be cool. I hope he did try for Isles of the Blessed. I think I would too.” Ari listened to him talk about AJ. “It sounds like you were really close to him. I wish I had a friend like that. And I’m glad that he’s in a better place and that he’s safe now.”
