"That's what I thought," Lux said, strumming a chord. "If this is for a bet, I won't teach you how to fully play the guitar, just an easy song. El, you can choose. Make it a beginner song, though." She added. Ellisey bounced over, sitting on the floor. "Mary Had A Little Lamb is short, but You Are My Sunshine is more impressive." She said. "But, Lux, you have to sing it. You were loud, and you were humming earlier, now all you need to do is sing it." She insisted.

Gabe looks over at Lux. “Will you sing it?” He asked, curious to hear her voice. Ashley sat up, looking at Lux with curiosity
"Maybe," Lux said, thinking for a moment. "...Sure." She sighed. "You're not going to let this go, are you?" She asked Ellisey, who shook her head no. "Fine." She strummed the first chord and sang quietly."You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are grey
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
So please don't take my sunshine away." She opened her eyes, surveying the other three, relieved that nothing had happened.
Ashley grinned and clapped quietly. Gabe gave Lux a smile. “That was nice.” He says, nervously cracking his knuckles
"You smiled again!" Lux grinned back. "See, I knew you adored me. Now, the first chord! You put your fingers like this.... and strum like this!"
He blushed a little, hoping no one noticed. He put his fingers like Lux had indicated and winced when he heard a discordant sound. “I’m assuming that’s not right.”
"Nope." Lux winced. "Move it up a little bit, not on the ((whatever the heck those lines are on the neck of the guitar))."
((They’re called frets))He moved his fingers so they were more on the strings. “Like this?”
((Ah! Thank you! I used to play guitar, but I have quickly forgot what I learned))"Yep, like that. Now try."
((I attempted learning, but I quit after three notes. I know all the parts of guitars, though, because my dad builds them for a living))He strummed the chord, pleased that it turned out the way it was supposed to.
((That's awesome!))"Next!" She showed him the finger placement, being corrected by Ellisey a few times.
((It’s annoying how much he talks about it, but it’s pretty cool))He followed her directions, strumming the guitar
Arianna ran into the cabin and ran over to her trunk, hastily packing some clothes into a bag, then ran to the mini infirmary in the back of the cabin and throwing some medicine and gauze into the bag. She tied her hair up and changed clothes, then grabbed her bag. She looked around her cabin, and hoped that she could come back. Ashley sat up. “Where are you going?” Arianna turned around. “Long story short, I’m going to the Underworld.” Ashley gasped. “Why?” Ari shakes her head. “I’ll explain when I get back.” She hesitated, then ran over to Ellisey and Lux, giving them a hug. “I’ll be back soon.” She said, hoping it was the truth.
"What?" Lux gasped. "Wait, here." She glanced at Gabe, and pulled off her necklace, handing it to Ari. "if it's destroyed, he's gonna kill me." She hissed, jerking a thumb at Gabe. "Be safe."
“Thank you.” She said gratefully, putting it on. “When I get back, you had better explain who that is.” Ari said, laughing a little, even though she like she was about to cry. She knelt in front of Ellisey. “Be good, tiny demonic sunbeam.” She said, giving her another hug. Arianna gave Lucio a hug, and awkwardly gave Ashley a hug, even though they didn’t really know each other. She stood in front of the door, then turned around and said, “When Aidan gets back, tell him what happened.” She says, sad that she had missed him. She waved goodbye, then ran to the Harmonia cabin. Gabe looked up at Lux. “Umm…you know what, I’m not even gonna ask.” He shakes his head
"My sister." Lux explained. "And probably her boyfriend." She sat back down, taking a deep breath and calming her nerves. "She'll be fine." She said out loud, not sure who exactly she was talking to.
Gabe awkwardly rubbed her back. “Are you going to be ok?” He asked softly. Ashley walked over to the group of siblings(and Gabe) and sat down.
"Yep. I'll be fine... As long as she's fine." Lux sighed, stamping out any bit of redness on her cheeks, and grabbed her guitar again. "Now you can play the first two notes of the song."
He nods, biting his lip and picks up the spare guitar. “What next?”
Lux showed him the next chord. "This would have been easier had we done this via fingerpicking, but the chords sound better."
He shrugs. “I wouldn’t know the difference.” He said, as he strummed the next chord
"Because you have the musical taste of a mule." Ellisey said in singsong. "And I wanted to use a very different word for that, sister-stealer." She added under her breath. Lux looked at her, alarmed, misplacing her fingers and strumming a discordant note. "She has the mind of a sailor." Lux muttered.
Gabe stared at Ellisey. “I’m sorry, what? Sister-stealer? I didn’t…you..we..she…um…” he shakes his head, not sure what to say.
"I know what I said." Ellisey said firmly. Lux chose to not look at her. "The chord?" She reminded him, mouthing 'ignore her'.
He nods, feeling his face burn. He strums the chord, trying not to focus on Ellisey. “That good?”
"Yep." Lux sighed. "Surely you have an annoying little sibling?" She added with an exasperated smile.
Gabe nods. “We have like, one or two in the cabin. Most are my age, or older, but some are younger.”
"Ah, makes sense. All I really know from your cabin is Cal, and he deals mostly in forging stuff." Lux strummed the next chord.
He copies her, correcting himself when he messes up. “I don’t really forge as much. I do more welding, and building than anything.”
"Nice," Lux said, nodding. "What do you have to do if you lose the bet?"
He shrugs. “He didn’t tell me. We just made the bet, and decided we could pick something later. I just now he would pick something horrible for me to do.”
"Maybe I should stop teaching you, so you have to do something terrible." Lux laughed. "Is there a time limit?"
“Please don’t do that.” He says, giving her a worried look. “I’m supposed to learn by tomorrow, but I’ve been postponing it.”
Lux groaned. "Tomorrow? Hurry up, this is the next chord."
He nods. “Alright.” He watched her movements, copying her
"Last one!" Lux said, demonstrating. "Then you have to sing it."
“No! Trust me, you do not want that.” He said, grimacing as he strummed the chord
"I can force you to sing it." Lux promised. "And you do not want that."
“No way. I’m not singing.” He shakes his head and crosses his arms

“Do I have to sing?” He asked, not wanting to. “I really don’t want to.”
"I don't think it'll work. Dad doesn't usually do specific requests. The occasional poetry curse, no-cursing curse, whatever he's feeling like that day." Lux said. "El, sit down, stop bothering Dad. You're causing global warming by distracting him."
He sighs in relief. “Good. I hate singing.”
Ellisey grumbled something and stalked towards the door. "Ashley, make sure they don't kiss, I'm done being the chaperone." She said out loud, looking pointedly at Lux before walking outside. Lux gritted her teeth. "Do you still have that hammer?" She asked. "I think I need to use it."
Ashley gave Ellisey a thumbs up, then shook her head at Lux and pulled out a book, smirking. Gabe blushed fiercely at Elliseys words and nodded. “Uh, yeah. I um, the hammer is in my toolbox.” He stammered, gesturing at the box
"Thank you," Lux said. "I'll use it later. Now, you play it and I'll sing."
He smiled gratefully at her and started playing the song.
Lux cleared her throat and sang again, a little louder this time. "Great! Now all you have to do is play it for your sibling, and you will be released from your bet."
“Thank the gods.” He muttered. “Can I borrow this guitar?” He asks, holding it up
