"Aww, that's sweet. I'm so happy for you." Lux smiled at him. "That's great. See? No laughing." She added. "And it's official, everyone in this cabin has a better love life than me."

Aidan smiled at her. "You'll find somebody, don't worry. They'll turn your world upside downnnnn."
"Sure. I don't get as heart-eyed as you and Ari though." Lux laughed. "At least I don't think so."
He laughs evilly saying, "Bettttt."
Lux got up and walked into the cabin. "Sorry I was pushy earlier." She apologized to Arianna.
Aidan walked in, smiling at the both of them.
Ari leaned back onto her bed, bored
He lays on his bed, waiting for the next day to come.
"GUYS!!!!" a shrill yell announced one of the younger kids was there. Ellisey, a 6-year-old, bounced over to them. "I learned a new word!" The young girl then swore. Loudly. Lux shot to her feet and clamped a hand over the child's mouth. "Who taught you that word??" She asked apoplectically. "An Ares girl! She said I could use it in my songs 'cause it rhymes with EVERYTHING!" Ellisey said happily.
Ari sat up quickly. “What the heck?!”
"El, never use that word again. It's as bad as saying monster names. Worse."
“Which Ares girl taught you that?” Ari asked, ready to go find her
"I dunno her name," Ellisey said, starting to jump on Lux's bed.
"Of course not," Ellisey repeated, grabbing Lux's guitar and strumming a few notes. "Hey! No!" Lux protested, taking her guitar back. "We need to pay a visit to the Ares cabin."
Lux reached for her arrowhead necklace on her shelf, then glanced at Ellisey and didn't take it. "Lead the way, tiny demonic sunbeam," Lux told the younger camper.
Ari gave Lux a strange look. “Tiny demonic sunbeam?”
"What?? She's tiny, she's creepy and crazy at times, and her last name is Beame." Lux laughed.
She giggles. “That’s a funny nickname.”
"Thank you. I get it from Dad." Lux said airily. " Nicknames are funny
Don't get them mixed up, that's bad
I hate haikus, help."
“I only have one nickname.” She says, giggling at her poem
"Bigger archery sunbeam?" Lux asked. "Nah, Ari. Ari is boring. I'm calling you bigger archery sunbeam now."
“That’s a terrible nickname!” She protests
"UhhhHHHHhHhhhh," Lux thought for a moment, "Apollo's Second Favorite Daughter? Merida? Female Legolas?" She covered her mouth. "Oh gods. I said legolas. We banned that word two years ago."
Ari stared at her. “Yeah, I don’t think I need a new nickname.”
"Merida it is! C'mon, Tiny Demonic Sunbeam, Merida! To Ares cabin we go!"
Ari, or rather, Merida, rolled her eyes and followed them

*chloe walks in* "hello anyone here?" she says
Aidan looks up from his poetry. "Ayeee, who are you?" He says this smiling up at them. "I don't think I've seen you around here before-"
"my name is chloe im new here." she says
"im not sure. nice to meet you lucio."
"oh i found some unexplained blond highlights in my hair and my mom as she was dying told me that my dad was apollo."
"i get mad sometimes like why wait till you are dying to tell me."
