"I don't sing in front of people besides my siblings." Lux said quickly. "Bad... Bad experiences. I got the short end of the stick with Apollo powers."
"Well... then I could sing while you play." He smiles, "I doubt that. You just gotta have some confidence. I'm sure if we sang together, it'd be good."
"Maybe." The smile dropped from her face. "Don't wake me up again." Her voice was deadly serious. She walked back to her bunk, put her book on her face, and fell asleep again.
He cringes, feeling bad. Aidan puts his notebook back under his bed and smiles. He had made friends... even if they were his siblings. He fell asleep soon after, excited to figure out who Ari was so hung up on tomorrow with Lux.
Ari woke up the next morning and yawned loudy
Aidan had already been up and threw on some black shorts and an orange camp half-blood t shirt. He saw Ari and grinned at her.
She gave him a little wave, not yet awake
He sat back on his bunk and continued to stare at his song, expecting words to appear on the paper magically.
She yawns and heads to the bathroom, splashing some water on her face
Mason sighs, lonely. He loved his siblings, but he needed friends. Friends outside of his family.
She walked back out and sat on her bed
Aidan says, "Ari, can I ask you something?" internally hurting out of the blue.
"Before- whoever it is that you're talking to- did you ever feel lonely? Like yeah you had your siblings, but were empty sort of?" he asks, looking at the ground, embarrassed.
“Sometimes. That’s why I started my diary. And siblings help, occasionally.” She replied
He looks at her. "Oh, yeah, that's a good idea. I guess I've always got my journal," he says, one side of his mouth turning up.
((I gtgt bed))“That’s good” she says, giving him a small smile

“Have you tried talking to other people?”
Lux suddenly clapped loudly. She had somehow gotten into the bathroom and changed before anyone noticed. "WELL." She said. "Who's ready to interrogate some mini-muses? I vote we start with Euterpe and end with that one Harmonia kid. Harmonia ain't a muse but I mean, the guy's cute, and it's fully possible." She didn't really seem to care that she had interrupted a conversation.
Ari rolled her eyes. “You’re going interrogate every camper on premises, aren’t you?”
"Every musical camper on the premises." Lux said, nodding.
“What if he’s not a child of a muse? What if he’s just a song of Hermes and he has a really good voice?” She questioned. “What if his mortal parent taught him to sing?”
"Aha, now I'm just going to interrogate every male inside the borders. I'll debate with Ness if I'm going to interrogate the satyrs." Lux declared.
“You’ll give up eventually.” She said. “I’ll just warn him and tell him to not say anything.”
"Not if I get to him first!! Y'know what, I'm stopping at Aphrodite cabin and dragging CC along!"
“I will lock in the closet if you get up from that bed!!”
Lux shouted a war cry and shot towards the door.

She chased after her, pulling her arm
"Don't chase the girl with two daggers!" Lux whisper-yelled, louder than she'd ever been before, twin daggers appearing in her hands
“Aiden!” She hollered. “Help meeeeee!!!”
"Noooo! Help me!" Lux cried, struggling. "Let's find out who she's Selene-y eyed about!!"
"Yes!! To the Harmonia cabin!" Lux shrieked, breaking free of Arianna and running towards the other cabin.
“Why are you going there first?” She hollered, even though she was too late. She chased after her
"I'm helping Lux, sorry Ari! This is way too entertaining." He laid down his book and sprinted out of Apollo's cabin, laughing hysterically.
Aidan ran back in, shaking his head, going back to his bunk.
A few minutes later, Tessa came up and knocked on the door
Aidan stood up and walked to the door, opening it, his shirt still halfway off as he pulled it down.

He grinned at her, seeing her reaction. "Ummm, I'm sorry? That was Lux...Ari is with someone in the Harmonia cabin!" He smirks, looking her up and down.

He kept grinning, "I can go with you...if you wanna go to Harmonia's cabin and get her... or maybe, do something else?"

He looks down, his macho fading away. "Oh, okay." he says softly, not used to being turned down.
“Nothing against you or anything.” She says quickly. “I just….I don’t know. I…” Tessa sighed, already knowing she blew it. “I’m sorry.” She whispers, about to leave
"Wait-" he said, gently reaching for her wrist. "It's okay... That was too forward. I'm Aidan, by the way," he smiles, changing from the player look to the genuine one. "What's your name?" he asks, his eyes softening.
