Maya smiled widely, but on the inside, she was clapping and cheering for herself. "See you then!" she said. Maya lightly kissed him on the lips and walked back to her cabin.
He froze for a second. "If this is a dream then I don't wanna ever wake up" he murmured
He sat down on his bunk, staring at absolutely nothing.
Maya poked her head in, holding the card in her hand. "Aaron?" she called. "You in here?"
He was in the studio, with his headphones on and was singing, looking at the lyrics to the song on one of the screens.
Maya mumbled a curse in Greek—something like "you're a stupid pig, Maya." Why did she have to interrupt? She let him finish his song. His singing was beautiful. He was too.
One he was done, he stepped out of the studio. He looked around and noticed Maya there, a small blush coloured his cheeks.
She didn't even say anything. Impulse traveled up her veins, and before she could tell herself not to, she pressed her lips to his.
He didn't react for a few seconds due to the surprise before he kissed back
She pulled away but then hugged him."You're so sweet!" she said, not knowing what else to say. She showed him the card. "Um, and, um, I like you too, and I—"
She cut off before tackling him with another hug.
He grinned, "I aim to please" he muttered, "and I'm glad that you like me back"
"I—sure?" she said, not believing this was happening.
"How does a picnic by the beach sound?"
"Tomorrow? This weekend?" she offered.
"See you then!" she said, leaning over to kiss him again. She couldn't help it. Then, she walked out of the cabin with a slight smile.
He stood there with a goofy smile on his face for a while. He then shook his head and went back inside, trying to write a song to keep him distracted so that he wouldn't grow too impatient for tomorrow.
Rowan stepped up onto the Apollo Cabin's porch and set Aurora down on the ground.He blew out a breath and leaned against the rail.
"Remind me to avoid carrying people halfway across camp again." He teased and grinned at her.
She laughed, "I'll be sure to remind you"
((REYYYYY!!!))"Great." He smiled and bent down to kiss her.
"Sleep well. Don't stay up to late." Rowan traced her creek with his thumb, then turned around and started walking back towards the Demeter Cabin.
She smiled into the kiss then waved at his retreating back. "I'll try"((ABBBBBBYYYYYY!!!!!!))
((Now, I wanna see her read the note :3))
She slowly opened the note and read through it.((I'll write the reaction later.))
“Dear Aurora...I honestly don’t know how to start writing a letter to you, talking would be much easier, so you’ll have to excuse me for a moment."
She smiled as she read the line, "Of course Rowan" she mumbled
"I can’t believe how quickly we hit it off. Too be honest, I feel bad for James. Like I’ve been spending less time with him and more time with you. Not that it’s a bad thing to be spending time with you. Sorry. Ignore that."
"I can't believe it either" Aurora smiled. "I'm pretty sure James doesn't notice it, he's too distracted by his crush" she muttered
"When I lay in bed at night, and I can’t fall asleep, my mind wanders to that afternoon we spent in the strawberry fields. The day I hurt you with my powers, after you ran off from the infirmary. How peaceful it was to be there with you sitting in my arms. The calming breeze and the warmth we got to share. I know that sounds a bit strange, but it’s one of my fondest memories. I can still hear you scolding me for feeling guilty and threatening to break up with me.”
"Guess I'm not the only one who remembers that day fondly" she said to herself, a light blush covering her features. It was one of her favorite memories
”I plan to give this to you by the beach, hopefully around sunset. It’s grown to be my favorite place at camp. I made a comment about how much more time I’d spent at the beach after meeting you and your brother, and it’s true. The beach is also where we had our first kiss. Gods, I was so nervous. I didn’t even know what I was doing at the time. You looked so beautiful outlined against the setting sun, and I suppose I hadn’t realized I had feelings for you until then.
"This is so sappy and cheesy" she said, smiling fondly
"When winter came around, I was nervous that you and James were going to go home. I know fully well you can take care of yourself, but I was worried about monsters attacking you and James. I don’t know what it would have been like to loose either of you, so I was quite relieved you decided to stay."
She sighed
"I promise I’ll get back at you for hitting me with that snowball next year,"
"You wish"
"and perhaps I’ll get you under the mistletoe once or twice, unlike a few months ago."
She blushed, her smile never wavered
"When I give this to you, I’ll ask you to wait to open it. I don’t want to have you read such cheesy thoughts in front of me, I’ll grow redder than one of my mother’s tomatoes."
She laughed
"Instead, we’ll hopefully get one of our quite moments to just stare out at the water and hold each other before the harpies decide to eat us. Or just myself, if you ditch me with those powers of yours."
She smirked, "That's just my speed"
"I’ll save what I wish I could tell you now for later. Instead, Aurora, I’ll tell you how amazingly beautiful and strong you are. I can’t picture my life without. Your quips, those radiant smiles, how unsteady on my feet I feel when I see you. I wake up every morning with your face in my mind, and think about your laughter as I fall asleep."
"This is so cheesy, but I wouldn't have it any other way" she muttered
"I hope this letter helps you realize how much you mean to me.

Newt ran up to the Apollo cabin, wearing a clean, dry shirt and shorts, just as usual. He stopped and paused for a second before knocking on the door.
"Hey." Newt said, grinning. He looked over his shoulder to make sure there was no one there, then gestured for Ashley to follow him.
Newt made sure Ashley was following him, then started walking towards Hermes cabin(Switch to Hermes cabin)
Newt and Ashley walked up to the Apollo cabin, Newt still keeping an eye out for harpies.
Before Ashley could go inside, Newt gently grabbed her hand, took a step closer, and kissed her on the cheek. "Good night, Ashley." Blushing beet red, he waved and started running back towards his cabin
(XDDD same. Well, unless it's a boy I don't like. Then I'll punch him in the face :p)
