[Cheshire Cat [Heidi]~ We're All Mad Here ~]

Haylee poked her head up from her bunk area when she heard a voice. She had just been in her cabin to gather some supplies, and was kind of surprised to see she was not alone. She stood up, finally seeing the person, and realized that it was a girl, but not someone that she knew. Maybe she could make another friend. She waved. "Hello!" She said with a smile. "Do you need anything?"

"I'm Haylee." She said, smiling. She nodded. "Some of us can. Some of us can't. Some of us have never tried." She grinned. "Fortunately, I am one of the ones who can." She concentrated, but she couldn't sense any injuries. "You don't seem to be hurt.. Who do you need me to help?"

Haylee looked at the wolf, concerned. "Where is she hurt?" she asked.

Haylee crouched down next to the wolf, concern on her face. She ran her hand over the wolf's strong body, sensing her wounds and how bad they were. The ear and the paw weren't too bad, and could be healed without much effort; her main concern was the deep gash in her side. The bleeding had stopped mostly, and the wolf didn't seems to have lost too much blood, but Haylee was worried that it would get infected, and she knew it was causing the wolf great pain. She placed her hands on the wolf's side, and felt the energy pulsing through her. She closed her eyes, and directed it through her hands into the animal's body. First, she numbed the pain, so that way the poor animal wouldn't have to feel hurt for any longer. Then, she healed the paw and the ear. Although she couldn't see it, she could feel the injuries mending themselves, so you could never tell they were there. She felt some of her energy leave her body, but it wasn't too much, as she'd predicted. Now, she turned her focus onto the large wound in the wolf's side. This would take a lot more of her energy, but she would be fine. She concentrated, making the current flow stronger through her hands, and directed it all into the wound. Although it happened a little slower than the others, it too began to heal, the gap closing up and sealing itself, leaving what she hoped to be a warm, peaceful feeling in the wolf's body. Suddenly exhausted, she fell away from the animal, catching herself on a nearby bunk before she could hit the floor, and she stood up shakily. Her legs were weak and wobbly, and her body ached with exhaustion, but she had felt worse. She knew she would be fine, and the knowledge that she had just helped someone gave her strength. She smiled weakly. "Alright, she's all better now." She told Alea.

Jordan decided that he needed to make more friends if he wanted to rise in popularity at the camp. To do that he had to go to the popular cabins and befriend the most popular one there. The Camp was divided into cliques and social groups, and to get to the top of those you had to know how to play the system. Jordan had learned to make millions of teens sitting on their laptops love him by listening to dozens of interviews with him and saying just the right the thing to make them love him. Making friends with a few people at a summer camp couldn't be that hard.

Jordan walked into the Apollo cabin with a smile on his face" Hello there! Is anyone home at the moment? I just came by to say hi. My name is Jordan McLaughlin. You might happen to recognize me from the movies I've been in."

Pyper looked up from her bunk, staring at the newcomer. "I take it you're new", was all she said, as she stood up and went to stand in front of him. "The name's Pyper. Pyper Miller".

Jordan's slightly forced smile turned into a genuine although cocky one. He hadn't exactly expected to find such a beautiful girl at the Apollo cabin, so he was quite pleased. He bowed quickly then said" It is an absolute pleasure to meet you Pyper. You have a very beautiful name. Oh, and yes I am rather new here. I was forced to leave my home in Hollywood to stay here for the summer. I fought off a group off giant monsters named laestrygonians. They were quite powerful and deadly, but I successfully fought them off. They weren't nearly a match for me." Jordan was attempting to impress her, and was pretty sure it was working. He couldn't think of any reason that a girl wouldn't think being a rich and famous man who happened to also be quite strong and powerful wouldn't be innately impressive.

Pyper smiled. "Yep, definitely new", she muttered. "Can I give you some advice? Don't go parading how many monsters you've fought around here. People won't take it very well. In fact, you're lucky I'm here to tell you that, or you would be in serious trouble by now", she told him, flipping some of her blonde hair off a shoulder.

He kept his smile but internally he boiled with anger. He should not have messed up like that. He's Jordan McLaughlin not some regular awkward teenage boy. He was supposed to be smooth not say something stupid. He should have known better me He then looked at her and said" Well thank you for that kindness. I am sorry that I didn't know that. Foolish of me. May I ask why it's bad to talk about the monsters you've fought?"

Pyper giggled, grinning. "We've all fought monsters, sweetie. Most of us know people who've died from monsters. It's not something to be proud of", she said, her smile flickering slightly, but she masked it well.

His smile wavered slightly as he screamed at himself in his head. He was not supposed to ever mess up like that. That made him as bad as some idiot celebrity saying something offensive. He then looked at her and said" You're right. I can't believe I said that. I truly do apologize for that. I am an absolute idiot for saying something like especially in front of such a beautiful girl like you. Anyways off me and my blunder. What about you?" He tried to steer the conversation away from his complete failure. He hoped he could wipe that away by making it up to her.

Pyper blushed slightly when he called her beautiful. "What about me?" she asked, not really understanding his question fully. She tapped her nails on her arm out of habit, but stopped when she realised what she was doing

He noticed her blushing and smiled smugly knowing that he was beginning to charm her" Your life. Your family. Favorite movie. Anything really. Like for example with me, I've been nominated for an Oscar three times. Just something like that is all. It's alway good to get to know someone. I mean all I know about you so far is your name and how pretty you are." He just gave her a warm smile as he sat down on a nearby bed.

Pyper sat down on the bed beside him, and thought for a moment, before answering. "I lived with my mum, and my older brother, before the monster attacks just got too much, and my dad had told my mum about this place, so about a year ago she shipped me off here. I've been at camp ever since", she told him, purposely leaving out the significant fact of her curse. But she wasn't going to tell him that. "You've been nominated for an Oscar three times? That's pretty impressive", she admitted, giggling slightly.

As she talked he actually dropped the facade and just began to be his real self" Your life sounds like it was really... Well.. Boring . Oh, and I'm not try to cause any offense I swear. I was born into a life of people swarming me with cameras any time I go into public. I basically grew up at red carpet events. I would have play dates with the children of people like Johnny Depp, Will Smith, Tristan McLean, and even Eddie Murphy. Most of the girls I've dated are pop stars meaning that a huge chunk of our dates are looking at the cameras of the paparazzi as they follow us everywhere. Boring sounds really nice to me. I know it sounds like an amazing life, and I'll be blunt and say it kind of is. But, living some mundane life with a white picket fence sounds great to me." He smiled at her commenting about his Oscar nominations" Thank you. I appreciate that. However, it's nothing compared to the multiple Oscar my mother has won along with the dozens of other awards she has won." He looked off for a moment thinking about how one day he would surpass his mother then he looked back at Pyper" I apologize. I went on about me again. How are your mother and brother. Do you have a nice relationship with them?"

Pyper made a face when he called her life boring, but quickly covered it up. She wished her life had been boring. But it had been almost the opposite, and not in the good way. She chose to ignore his comments about how fabulous his life was, and shrugged. "I haven't spoken to either of them since I left, but yeah, we were pretty close", she admitted.

Jordan winced noticing something was wrong. He had obviously done something wrong, but he didn't know what he had done. He was just speaking from the heart. He just decided to ignore those thoughts and focus on Pyper" Well that's nice to hear. I'm sorry you haven't talked to them in a while though. I can sympathize with that kind of loneliness. So.. Um.." Jordan paused for a moment trying to come up with something to say. He didn't understand why he was acting so strange. He had been off his game lately" Have you enjoyed your time at camp?"

Pyper grinned at him, glad to be away from talking about her past. "Yeah, I've made heaps of great friends, and I've had so much fun. Even though half of us are insane, we're fun to be around", she said, laughing at her comment.

He chuckled a bit at her comment" I haven't been here long enough to make many friends, but I can definitely say I'm having fun just talking to you. Most of my conversations in my life have been so superficial and over such trivial things. I'm pretty sure I've never had a more real conversation than this one. Most people in Hollywood are all fake including myself. It just comes with the job of being an actor and having actor friends. You can have a nice conversation, but you can rarely be yourself out of fear of someone telling a freaking tabloid. It's obvious that's there's no fear of that here. I mean you won't go around telling people what I've said along with other completely fictional rumors will you?" He laughed as he made of the paparazzi and others who made their entire life about following people around and making lies about them if the facts aren't interesting enough.

Pyper laughed, and shook her head. "Of course I won't. However, I would suggest being wary of the children of Eros, Aphrodite, and Himeros especially. Basically any of the children of the love gods. They're terrible gossips", she advised, knowing from personal experience not to cross a child of Himeros. That was one mistake she'd never make again.

He nodded then just smirked" Yeah I think like half of Hollywood are descended from love gods then because it's all gossip there. Most of media is gossip now though, so the world must be enveloped by love gods." He laughed then looked at Pyper with a smile" I was being serious though. This is probably one of the best conversations I've ever had... I think it helps that just being at this Camp makes me feel like I don't have to be so guarded. I'm really glad it was you here to greet me when I came here. Seeing such a gorgeous girl was a great sight to see when first walking into a room."

Pyper blushed again, and smiled. "Trust me, the pleasure is all mine. I love meeting new people, especially when they look like you", she said, biting her lip slightly.

Jordan smiled then placed his hand on top of her's as he spoke" Well that is a good thing to hear. I know this will sound a little crazy, but I feel a connection with you. Maybe it's because most people that talk to me are always looking to get something something out, and I can tell you aren't like that. It just feels nice to talk to you." Jordan knew he was being a little cheesy, but it had worked before. So, Jordan was hoping it would work again on Pyper.

Pyper grinned. "I'm glad you feel comfortable around me. I, uh, feel the same way", she admitted, biting her lip nervously. But it didn't matter how comfortable she felt, she couldn't tell him about the curse. He'd, he'd ridicule her, and tell her she was insane, a monster. She couldn't take that kind of rejection.

Jordan smiled at her" I'm glad to hear that." He then looked out to see the sun was setting" Oh look it's sun set. It's quite beautiful is it not. Romantic isn't it. The beautiful agreement of the bright sun as it's replaced by the dark moon. Quite a sight" Jordan then thinking this was quite the romantic moment leaned in for a kiss.

Pyper nodded. "It is quite a romantic setting", she agreed honestly.

He smiled" Yeah it's about to be night soon and the sun setting is just beautiful." He leaned back noting the disinterest.

Pyper looked outside, and cursed under her breath. "Gods, I have to go. I'm so sorry. I'll, um, hopefully see you around", she rambled, grabbing a coat, and slipping her shoes on, before swinging the door open wildly, running out.

He stood up then ran after her. He didn't know what he did but he couldn't just let her run off. She seemed to just suddenly freak out. He yelled after her" What did I do?" He then said" But it's your cabin!"

Pyper turned slightly, hoping he wouldn't follow. "It wasn't you, I'm just really late for meeting a friend. But I'll see you later!" she called back, and ran off toward the forest.

Addy smiled at the weird Hades kid, practically breaking down the door to get inside the Apollo cabin. She'd make this Hades kid focus and find his brother.

Ethan looked around panicking breathing heavily. There were so many emotions running through his head, mostly excitement and nervousness. "Come on Addy! What are you waiting for?" Ethan shouted with a shaky voice.

She had just opened the door. "I'm waiting for you to go inside?" she prompted, smirking. Wow, he really did work himself into a fit of nervous anxiety! "Hey, it'll be okay."

Ethan was pretty much hyperventilating at this point. "It's just... what if he is there? What if hes isn't? Will he like me? Will he hate me? Will he accept me?" Ethan caught himself rambling at what seemed to be a million words a second. He stopped and took a deep breath. "Sorry, You're right." Ethan began to walk through the door with his hands shaking at his sides.

"Who cares?" she shrugged. "You'll know if he's safe here or not. It's not the end of the world, just relax." Addy followed him with a little eye roll. Were Hades kids usually this dramatic? Eh... she'd cut him some slack.
