Tess looks at Eric and then Nick as they stare each other down, "You understand why we might find that a little hard to believe."
Tess looks at him, "People can change." she says, "I agree with Eric."

Umber's mouth hung wide open. He stared at Isabella for a long time. "Are the cards normally right?" He asked nervously. He didn't know a thing about magic or fortune telling. His mom always told him that that mortal magic was bogus, that it was all for show. Umber didn't care, he thought it was fun anyways.
She thought for a minute and shrugged " I guess you can say that. You won't believe how specific these can get sometimes. Why? Something wrong?"
"My mom shouldn't get pregnant. Our entire family is made up of demigods. All three of my brothers are Hermes', and my mom is Aeolus'. Whether the baby is Hermes' or not, it'd be in a lot of trouble with the Greek and Roman world." He bit his thumbnail. "But maybe that's not it. Maybe by children it means one of my brothers is coming here!" A gigantic, dopey grin grew. Every trace of nervousness was banished from his face. "MY BROTHER'S COMMMMMINNNG!"
Isabella laughed "that would explain The Magician. Coming here could be testing. " she looked at the last card. Her eyes widened " and the one that says now would be a good time to relocate. Good gods, more Umbers!! I don't think camp can take it!" She laughed
Umber laughed and hugged her. "What I think the camp needs is even MORE Umbers! No, the entire camp should just be like clones of me and my brothers. But you and a few other people would be there. That would be epicccc."
She covered her eyes with her hand started laughing " oh gods I can't even imagine.. Chiron would probably have a heart attack and Dionysus might just make himself insane so he won't have to deal with us!"
((Sorry, had to put my sister to bed))"Hahaha! Exactly!" Umber laughed along with her, and sat down at the picnic table again. "Have you ever tried giving yourself a fortune?" He asked.
She nodded " yeah. It gets crazy accurate. "
"Really? What'd it say?"
She gathered the cards and shuffled them " it only works with questions for me. Anything like telling my future is " she blew a raspberry and gave a thumbs down
Umber laughed at her raspberry and copied her, extending it for more than 30 seconds. "Well questions are nice. Those tell the future too. What were some of your questions?"
" ummmmm boring questions like would the band make it to state, would I pass the test that I never studied for..... things like that." She waved a hand dismisively
"That's ok. Boring's fun. In a fun, boring way. Actually I take that back boring's called boring for a specific reason. Your questions weren't boring though. Well actually..." He raised his eyebrows. "Nah they weren't."
She laughed and shook her head " come on! They were totally boring. "
"They weren't!" Umber insisted, giving her a shove. "Lame is a better word for it." He stuck of his tounge. "Just kidding. I mean, they were things that used to matter to you back then, right? So they aren't boring, silly, just outdated. You just got UMBER LOGIC. EMBRACE IT."
" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT UMBER LOGIC!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" She laughed and shoved him back
"HEY YOU KNOW I'M RIGHT!!!" He stood up on the table. "HEY, SPAWN OF THE GOD OF GLEE, ISABELLA SAYS I'M RIGHT!"
She laughed and stood up on the table " DISREGARD HIS LIES!!!!!!!!! I NEVER SAID HE'S RIGHT!!!! LIAR!!!!" She dumped the rest of her fries on him
Umber laughed and grabbed one off the ground. "Ima eat this. You dare me?" He brushed off some of the dirt that stuck on it.
" no because youll probably eat it anyways"
"WHAT- yeah you're right." He popped it in his mouth. "Isabella. Tell me something cool."
" hmmmmmm like what?" She jumped down into her seat
"I dunno man." He poked her stomach. "Anything." ((Night :D))
She giggled" DONT POKE ME!!!" she poked him back " anything about everything?"
"No, no. Everything about anything." He corrected her, poking her in the stomach again.
She squirmed in her seat "DONT POKE ME IM TICKLISH YOU BUTT HEAD!!!!!!!! " she poked him again anyways. " everything about anything...... hmmmmmmm....... what do you want to know about? I know way too many cool things"
"You can neva know enough cool things! Neveerrrrr." Umber declared.
She thought for a minute " hmmmm........ good point"
Tess rubs her temple,"How is this the same guy who stabbed you and erased my memories?"
"Right-" she says remembering the events from a year and a half ago. "She must be."
She laughs and kisses him deeply,"Gods you're the greatest."
