Tess breaks the kiss knowing he's running our of air. "Your influencing my decision unfairly." she says out of breath with a slight smile
"That kind of talk scares me. But I understand." she says touching his cheek.
"I'm so scared- I don't know what to do."
Tess takes a deep breath, "If I try to save him- I risk losing you."
"I know I know- and I can't ask of that of you." she says desperately trying to figure out what to do.
"Let me think about it." she says just as quiet.
Tess looks up at him, "Fine." she says quietly.
Tess relaxes a little in his arms, "Don't get yourself hurt."
"Good."she says simply. "I can't believe dad showed up."
"Figures that he'd only show up when someone dies." she says her voice ringing with a deadly sarcasam.
"Thad was always the better kid. He's the best Apollo I know. A great healer, musician, writer."
She leans into his chest and wraps her arms around him, "I hope so."
She nods slowly. "Thank you Eric. I don't know what I'd do without you."
She kisses him lightly, "Let's never find out."
Tess tries to smile a little, "Where do we even start?"

"It'll be worth it once its done" she reasoned.
"Yeah, but you almost got hurt last time and I don't want that to happen again," he said.
"Come on, we're demigods. We get hurt all the time" she pointed out.
"Yeah, but I don't like seeing you get hurt," he protested.
She lifted her chin up slightly, crossing her arms. "Then you don't have to come when I'M building OUR treehouse."
